There's got to be some sort of banned substance in these magical little bundt cakes, right? Punny name aside, this little bakery slings up some of the most consistent, amazing little cakes that I've ever tasted. Updating my old review to say it's nice to have them in the Brookside shops. This has become my staple for my mom's birthday, and nice to be closer to home. I didn't even know I had a miniature bundt cake sized hole in my heart until I tried these at a networking event one time. The red velvet had me hooked. The lemon made me consider an all bundt cake diet, and the seasonal funfetti connected me with a higher power. So as if I'm not making it pretty clear, I'm pretty impressed with this little shop and everything they turn out. It's not one that would jump out to me because I really don't eat cake that often, but I can assure you it's worth every frosting covered calorie! read more

Purchased a box of Mini Bundt's/12 count and found that the customer service was absolutely outstanding and very appreciative. My office introduced me to Nothing Bundt Cakes two years ago. It's a tradition for us to order a big Bundt cake for birthdays! I have never been disappointed with any of their flavors. Yesterday was my mom's birthday and she loves some good vanilla cake. We wanted to try multiple flavors so I got bundlet tower with Pecan Praline, Vanilla, and white chocolate raspberry. I ordered online and customized it with a note, ribbon, and a little "happy birthday" piece. The process was easy and it was ready when I got there. The staff is very nice! My friend ordered mini bundt cakes and a small bundt cake for my birthday. The mini bundt cakes she ordered included the following flavors: red velvet, chocolate, white chocolate raspberry, and lemon! All of them were decadent!! I could have easily been a savage and stuff the whole mini cake in my mouth in one bite! They were all so good, I can't pick a favorite. These little cakes are amazing! Everytime I stop in they are perfect. Very moist and flavorful. The cream cheese frosting is to die for. The small "bundtlet" cakes are a great size for 2 people, but let's be honest you're going to easily eat the whole thing yourself. On the off chance you don't eat the whole thing they keep well in the fridge. The store is always sparkling clean. The staff is outstanding! In addition to the cakes they've got cute gift items. Guilty as charged!!! I'll be a repeat offender!! I sampled one of theae yummy bundt cakes at a fund raiser at Crossfit Matters. I sampled the red velvet bundt cake and was a massacre!! They had white chocolate raspberry, chocolate, red velvet and lemon. I was offered more cakes but I didn't want to be a greedy crossfiter...I just drove down to Mission to get my own. I purchased the $4.50 bundtlette pecan praline flavor...they don't sell the small bundt cupcakes individually...only by the dozen. Nonetheless that meduim bundt cake was plenty... So this was disappointing. I ordered a 2 tier cake for my daughters first birthday party. I should have seen the sign when it wouldn't take my order online. I called in and placed my order a few weeks in advance and had a huge gut feeling something would be wrong. And it was. The top tier was placed on SOO crooked it barely made it out of the box without falling off. Which left huge holes in the top of the bottom cake from taking the pegs out (they weren't even remotely centered). Luckily I had brought extra cake toppers with me. We did white chocolate raspberry and double chocolate. They tasted good, but if I spend $80 on a cake I don't think it's unreasonable to expect it to hold in one piece. That dampened The Who experience for me and I didn't enjoy them half as much. I will be very hesitant to ever order a cake from here again. read more

What an adorable bakery! I had a special occasion this week, and being someone who works full time (and being a bit lazy), I decided to just buy a dessert instead of making one myself. I'm so glad I chose to stop in to Nothing Bundt Cakes. the shop is bright, open and super cute. They have a great selection of flavors and many sizes to fit anyone's needs. The women who work behind the counter are super helpful and are as sweet as the cakes they sell. I was in and out in 10 minutes, with a smile on my face. The cakes here are absolutely amazing! I recently celebrated a birthday and was treated by family to a large selection of the smaller bundt cakes that they serve here, known as "bundlets". This way we could try many of their flavors. The "bundlets" are small and almost personal sized versions of a large bundt cake. In addition to the "bundlet" size, they also offer large sized bundt cakes, tiered bundt cakes, and even bite-sized bundt cakes that they call "bundtinis". There are several things that I love about this place. First, is the selection of different flavors. They offer cake flavors such as carrot cake, red velvet, lemon, pecan praline, white chocolate raspberry, cinnamon, chocolate, and plus a gluten-free option, which is white bundt cake with chocolate chips. My three personal favorites were the white chocolate raspberry, the lemon, and (believe it or not) the gluten-free chocolate chip bundt cake! Second, I love how moist these darn cakes are, it is almost unheard of how long these cakes stay moist and fresh! Also, I really enjoy the cream cheese frosting that they use to top all of their bundt cakes! As a side note, if you are watching calories, you can order a light version of frosting for your cake. All of the different sized bundt cakes here are reasonably priced and not crazy expensive like many other quality cake makers! Nothing Bundt Cakes is a great idea for any birthday or other type of celebration that may call for a cake! I will most certainly will be returning quite soon. read more

The cake was delicious but the customer service needs some serious improvement. I ordered and paid online for a plain cake with a few flags on a Thursday for a Saturday pickup. The next morning I called them back and asked if I could upgrade to an actual birthday cake. I spoke with Janice, who told me that was fine and I would just pay the balance when I picked up the cake. She called back directly after to ask if I wanted the bow to be blue and if she didn't hear from me, she would assume blue. On Saturday, I went to pick it up and told the two younger cashiers that I had a balance to pay. They both stared at me, confused, and said it was already paid for. At that point a tall, slim, middle-aged woman who was in the back decorating stomped through the doors and asked what the problem was. I reiterated that I had originally ordered the cake plain but had called back to upgrade and I needed to pay for the balance. This woman replied with, "Okay. I don't know what to tell you. This is what you ordered." I was speechless for a minute and then she huffed and said, "Do you want a free bundtlet??" It was pretty obvious I was putting her out. I said no and took the cake and she returned to the back room. As I was leaving, I saw a display and had an idea. I asked the two cashiers if I could buy the decorations separately to put on the cake. I heard the woman loudly say, "NO!" from the back. She came to the front again and rudely said, "No. We don't sell the kits separately." I asked if they had anything I could put on top and she told the cashiers I could either buy a bow or flower and then she disappeared again. I ended up buying a bow for $7.00. The cake itself was wonderful but I will never return to this location after dealing with this vile woman. She never apologized and acted like I was lying about the whole situation. The other two cashiers looked very embarrassed when she left. After reading other reviews on here, there is one incredibly similar to my own experience and I have no doubt it was the same woman. She may be an amazing baker but she needs to never deal with the public. read more

Spotted the NBC food truck at Parkville Days Festival and they had samples of their white chocolate raspberry cake. I bee lined over there to try out their products for the first time and they surely didn't disappoint! Sooo moist, decadent, and the cream cheese frosting really brought it all together. I ended up buying two bundtlets: the white chocolate raspberry and carrot cake. The carrot cake was awesome too!
