Nutella and red bean taiyaki - Stuffed waffle fish
    Paige S.

Very interesting dessert. I guess it's good for shaved ice. But certainly not a sweet dessert. I do however recommend the Nutella and red bean stuffed waffle. I believe one of those with the soft serve would have hit the spot. Was looking for a very sweet treat and although these are good I wouldn't necessarily recommend if you're in the mood for a heavy dessert.

I really love this place. It always has nice vibes, great music, and a cute little Photo Booth where you can take cute photos. They also have cute headbands and accessories that you can use for those pictures. The food was very good, I shared with my roommate and we thought it was very yummy. I am glad to see there is a bingsu place in Overland Park.

I got the mango bingsu and soft serve iced latte. They were both delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Good vibe, good music!

We got the chocolate and strawberry cheesecake to share. Both were delicious! The place is super cute with photobooth and Korean influence. Very good vibe and good music!

I saw that they had Korean dessert. Wanted to give it a try. Casual atmosphere. Cute deco meant for kids. Photo Booth on site for pictures. We stood and look at the menu for awhile. Not quite sure what to order. Cashier explain what everything was and promptly took our order. I decided on a Matcha Takiyaki with red bean. The Takiyaki was yummy. It's a fish shape soft waffle with ice cream. Korean dessert dishes was $13 a bowl. I thought it was kind of pricing. Then we say people sharing a bowl which look like it's big enough for two people. Next time I would be back for the dessert bowl. I think they need to come up with better sign for their store. One that will stand out and attract attention. Current logo or sign is a bit boring.

This dessert shop is a VIBE! It's a korean dessert shop that boasts a cute interior, a do-it-yourself photobooth with lots of fun props, and some of the BEST desserts in town (my personal favorite). If you've never had korean dessert, THIS is the shop you want to start at. Get your sweet tooth fix without going too overboard on the sweet! Our ABSOLUTE favorites: * Injulmi Bingsoo (great for kiddos too) * Matcha Choco Bingsoo * Fish (Boonguh Bbang) + Ice Cream * Affogatos Perfect for date nights + family dessert stops!

Cute spot for a sweet treat! They specialize in soft serve ice cream, with their primary flavors being milk, matcha, cookies & cream and taro. Had to order the milk and matcha combo, and added the taiyaki which is a sweet cake in the shape of a fish. I chose the custard stuffing option. Overall flavors were really tasty, and not too sweet. It made for the perfect after dinner dessert! Final review: 4/5 stars

This is my first time trying Bingsu. I loved it. We picked Forest Leafy Bingsu. As it turns out, I don't like Matcha. But all my friends do so we got one to share. I ended up eating the most of it. It was so good. I want to go back here and try all the flavors. The Bingsu portions are huge! We got one to share between 4 of us. We still had some left over at the end. The little cafe is cute too and they have a little Photo Booth you can dress up and use the provided props to take pics in.

First impressions walking in it's a very cute cafe with a Photo Booth inside. Staff is very friendly and every time I've gone they've been very sweet and talkative, the most recent time I've gone the woman helping me complimented my choices! The wait time is relatively short, and the taiyaki comes out hot and delicious! I absolutely recommend, the menu has something for everyone and is enjoyable even when there's a line almost out the door.

I was looking locally to satisfy my sweet craving and decided to give this place a try ! The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions when it came to ordering. The cafe is decorated nicely with plenty of natural light coming in. I decided on the mango bingsu which was soooo delicious and refreshing on a hot day. The bingsu itself has a light flavor and doesn't feel like it's weighing you down like traditional ice cream. It also came with a side of sweetened condensed milk, which paired amazingly. Looking forward to returning to this business soon to give more of their menu a try!

2 Stars on Yelp means that it, "Could've been better." And honestly, I wouldn't even make the trip back. The soft serve was average at best, and I was really disappointed to find that the center of my cup was empty, since the ice cream was just swirled along the inner edges of the cup. Contrary to what another reviewer wrote, I found that the taiyaki did have an interesting mochi-like chew. However, I've traveled internationally, and I'm more familiar with taiyaki being a fluffy, pancake-line consistency with a light crunch on the outside (similar to waffles). So... take that as you will. The bingsu was below-average. I just think there's a lot of room for improvement with regards to taste and visuals for the price. As an Asian in the Midwest, sometimes you just take what you can get. But in this case, it wasn't worth it for me.

Exactly what I was looking for when I wanted Korean shaved ice dessert. Reminds me of other Korean dessert places I've been to in my life, and I'd say leafy Korean is well on par. We got the strawberry mango bingsu, but they also had taiyaki, along with a full coffee drink menu. We ordered and were given a buzzer while we waited. It took about 10 minutes for our order to be ready. I also got a coffee (unfortunately, can't remember the name, but picture attached for reference) which also tasted great. There was plenty of seating, and it wasn't too busy when we went in the evening. I'd definitely come back, since this is one of the few places in KC that offers bingsu (if not one of the only ones!)

    Maggie C.

The inside is super cute, and there's a photo booth as well. We ordered the Oreo bingsu and the shaved ice itself was fluffy, but the flavor was mild. If you head over to "I Am", down the street, their shaved ice is flavored without the syrups on top.

Yes, $9. That's on the expensive side for a latte, so I went in with pretty high expectations. Everything about the experience was quick and efficient. The line moved fast, my drink came out quickly, and I was in and out with no issues. The shop itself seemed like a great place to sit down and get some work done or catch up with a friend. Since it was such a nice day, I decided to sit outside. My first sip immediately stood out because of the texture. It was probably the smoothest coffee I've ever had; silky, creamy, and almost pillowy on the tongue. Unfortunately, that's where most of my praise ends. The coffee itself tasted fine, but nothing about the flavor stood out, especially considering the price. I ordered a vanilla latte, but I couldn't taste any vanilla at all and got virtually no sweetness from the drink. Overall, it's not bad coffee by any means, and the texture was genuinely impressive. But for nearly $9, I expected a lot more flavor. I don't regret trying it, but I wouldn't come back at that price point.

The sandwich, though, was really good. Everything was cooked perfectly: velvety runny egg, crunchy bacon, melted gouda (although I couldn't taste it much), and an earthy basil mayo. All the flavors worked really well together, and it was a solid-sized sandwich too. My biggest issue was the price. I spent over $20 here, and honestly I feel like I could make a sandwich and coffee similar to this at home for cheaper and probably better.

First of all, be sure not to blink because the sign isn't very visable and the location is unassuming from the outside, abeit a very clean exterior. Walking in, I love the vibe, trendy but not pretentious, grounded yet modern and a fair amount of people but not overflowing. Yessiree Bob, this is my kind of place. Oh and the baristas are patient, kind and willing to offer advice based on your individual tastes. I've been here several times; however, my eating habits preclude me from indulging in anything outside of berries. Do the apple fritters, donuts, muffins and other items look outstanding, of course they do. In fact, my buddy whom I generally meet there has raved how good the pastries are and after living in Austin and trying home made poptarts, I'm still kicking myself for not trying them. However, the path to maintaining a healthy weight and figure is paved in discipline. I must admit they nailed the ambiance. The cement floors are patterned with what looks like dark wood textured tiles and the walls are a warm burgundy, emitting a certain visual warmth. The hanging art amuses me, sometimes it's movie paintings, sometimes its modern art while other times it's eclectic and I've never figured out their rotation, but I appreciate it. The hanging lamps offer a bit of 2010 mod while the open coffee service area proudly displays all of the tools of an expert craftsman. The counter area has a small display case enticing the sweet tooth and the chalk boards give a simplistic view of their menu, but they also offer daily "experiments" that are fun to sample. The first time I came, I tried the Café Au Lait which was very strong, robust and full of lasting flavor. The 12oz amount seemed to be about perfect for my needs. The next time I dropped by I sampled the Dulce de Leche which was a mistake. Why, you might be wondering? Because I've never ordered anything else since then and I always get the 16oz. It's smooth, a little softer on the coffee flavor while balancing it with the strong caramel notes. I know it's probably got more calories than I want, but hey, that's why I'm not eating! They also have some pretty good selection of home ground coffees from places like Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Brazil and other far, far away locations. Come to think of it I don't recall if they have any Hawaiian beans which are pretty trendy now (Kona is a great coffee!!) Oh I forgot to mention they do have a fast wifi but please for the love of God, don't be that geek in the corner pretending to write the great American novel in the corner. That's so.... 2000s....
