    Strawberry cloud
    Doreen T.

We stopped by around 9am to pick up a birthday cake for our family, and the strawberry cloud cake looked absolutely perfect, everyone loved it. It even came with a plastic knife and candles, which was a nice touch. Best of all, it was "not too sweet," which is honestly the highest compliment you can give an Asian bakery cake. We also grabbed a latte and a mushroom onion pastry, and the pastry was delicious. We've consistently had great experiences with the cakes and baked goods at Tous Les Jours, even were we live in LA/SGV. That said, their drinks are just okay, and my latte took quite a while to come out. But for pastries and cakes, they're always a solid choice.

Outstanding find! I have been coming here for many years and yesterday i went back after they bumped into the space next to them for more room. You walk in grab tongs and small cookie sheet to choose from the many items inside the cases. There is also a section of a grab and go items with drinks, additional cold sandwiches. The main case has the cakes, cookies, cheesecakes and pies. The cloud cake is the best!! There are 3 different sizes to order. These cakes are best described as a traditional Korean style, very light with a melt in your mouth tasting. They come wrapped with a plastic/ribbon to keep together. The cake box has handles and an easy slide out tray with the box opening from both sides. As well with a plastic cake cutter that has matches built it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dinning room space is large and pretty full. Best cake in town!

Traditional French bakery items....and they're open late when for when you're craving a sweet treat! They've got great looking cakes and packaged items to-go, but I always go for the baked goods in the case. Tons of options from sweet to savory, light and fluffy to dense, even some things you wouldn't expect in baked goods like garlic/cheesy.

This is my favorite late night treat. It is so nice when all other bakeries have closed to still have an option for a sweet treat. Tous les Jours is our favorite of this style of bakery. They have cakes, cupcakes, and plenty of pastries and bread.

Item on the left is a "chocolate avalanche" & the perfect fusion of crispy puff pastry & lots of fabulous chocolate filling!

I was in line behind a woman loading 2-3 layers of pastries on one of their tiny trays...clearly she'd done this before and was an expert! I wanted everything she had! Be prepared to be mouthwateringly-tempted by all the beautiful and unusual pastries here. You can eat in or carry out. I bought two things and it came to a little over $8 so it's not inexpensive but OMG you'll love it! Be sure to bring your out-of-town guests too, as this is a place is an "experience"!

    I will.

The French have been doing this for centuries: baking amazing bread, folding in cheeses and herbs, and crafting delicious pastry. It's dangerous to go on a spot like this when you're hungry because you might end up wanting one of everything. Tous Les Jours is found on the backside of a strip mall just north of the 435 loop. There's plenty of seating outside and that can be needed because the space inside is generally pretty crowded. And why shouldn't it be? The place is fantastic! It's not just donuts and bread, it's artisanal pastries and various baked goods. Sure, some of these items aren't exactly waistline-friendly, but live a little! My lovely wife and I wandered in here again on a Sunday morning and the shop was packed. Be sure to pick up a tray to select your self-serve goodies, because there's a very good chance you're going to be picking up more than just one item. My wife loved their Croque Monsieur, which isn't just French for 'fancy ham & cheese'. Once you've had a Croque Monsieur, the you know what it means to do adult grilled cheese sandwiches. Simply outstanding! Hook yourself up with an eclair or croissant, or go true breakfast-y with individual-sized quiche or fresh items from the menu. Just know that there is a lot to choose from and you are guaranteed to find something for every palate. Pro tip: a loaf of their bread, whether Baguette or a simple sliced white, is worth all the carbs. Prices are fair for the quality of their baked goods. If you're looking for true budget-friendly, then this might not be the place. But if you're looking for exceptional taste, then this is definitely the spot. Parking is easy, but the place does get busy so you might have to walk a few steps. There is seating indoor and out, and just know that the lines, while they can seem daunting, move quickly. There is a reason that so many people visit here and you'll find out very quickly once you fill your tray with their baked offerings.

This is an awesome bakery with SO MANY delicious choices. Today I met a friend for a catch up and enjoyed a garlic cheese bun that had a surprise sweet creamy layer that was absolutely delicious. I also had a strawberry cream pastry and my friend enjoyed a feta spinach pastry and a nutty baguette type thing. I can't quite remember all the pastry names. We loved everything. I could easily visit ten times and still not try everything that appealed to me. The service was great. My drip coffee was brought to my table once it was done brewing. The place was packed by 10am on a Saturday!

This is one of my top favorite Asian bakeries. They have the best options available and the flavors are so refreshing. I look forward to visiting here at least once a month for a nice pick-me-up. They have amazing service and the prices are reasonable.

This bakery is very clean and tidy. The workers are constantly restocking which signals that everything is very fresh and they are available for questions about the many different items. Easy to grab a plate and pick any thing you want and then ring it up. I went with their classic stuffed "donut" and it was delicious, will be back for more.

You truly cannot find a better café than Tous Les Jours; the prices are reasonable, the options plentiful, the atmosphere great, and the quality top-tier. My partner are I went here after a friend recommended it to us, and we were not disappointed. The place was busy, but the lines moved quickly and we were able to pick out any (probably too many!) baked goods we wanted. We ended up getting a vanilla cream donut, croque monsier, pain au chocolat, and strawberry croissant, but ideally we would have been able to try everything because what we did get was phenomenal. Even days later when we got to eating everything, the quality was still excellent. I'm impressed by how nice the staff was, how attentive they were to replacing items that were running low or sold out, and how clean it was for how busy! Based on everything, I know that I will be back.

This bakery has been on my list of places to try for a while now, and I wish I wouldn't have waited so long! The vanilla cream donut was phenomenal. It was soft and fresh and filled with a light vanilla cream. Easily a 10/10 donut for me! The rest of the pastries and macaroons were delicious. I will definitely be back!

AMAZING pastries, great staff, good prices. I can't wait to go back! The inside has a few small tables but not a lot of seating.

I needed some milk bread for a recipe I wanted to try and saw that they carried it at Tour Les Jours, so I went. I was greeted by a cute little french/ korean pastry cafe! All the pastries and cakes looked so good, but I was on my mission for milk bread. They sadly didn't have any out, but I asked an employee about it. She was super nice and said they had some in the back and got some for me! Also, the packaging was so cute! I will definitely be back to try some other pastries!

To step through its threshold is to surrender to the siren song of warmth that curls from the oven like a whispered secret. I have made it my pilgrimage to traverse the entirety of their menu, a culinary odyssey that has yielded no false steps, only a symphony of consistency that borders on the miraculous. Each offering, from the flaky, golden architecture of their pastries to the robust, honest comfort of their savory fare, is a testament to the artisan's hand. Here, affordability is not a sacrifice of quality but a generous invitation, a rare confluence where the exquisite meets the accessible. There is a certain magic in the air at McLain's, a sweetness that feels woven into the very fabric of the establishment. It is a place that understands the language of comfort, speaking it fluently in the dialect of a perfect crust or the rich, dark notes of a expertly pulled espresso. It is perhaps no surprise that such a bastion of authentic delight has garnered a reputation that extends far beyond our local borders; if the standard of excellence is high enough to grace the plate of Taylor Swift, then surely, it is more than enough for us, the grateful residents who claim this treasure as our own. Yet, beyond the flour-dusted counters and the glowing glass cases, my deepest admiration is reserved for their spirit. In a world that often measures worth in cold, transactional metrics, McLain's chooses to honor those who pour themselves into the future of our community. As a teacher, I feel that recognition in the small gestures, the welcoming nods, and the genuine appreciation they extend to educators. It is a profound kindness, a recognition that the work of shaping minds requires nourishment, both intellectual and literal. They understand that a classroom is a marathon, and they act as the essential pit stop, providing the fuel that keeps the light of inquiry burning bright. To dine at McLain's is to participate in a ritual of belonging. It is a place where the passage of time is marked not by the ticking of a clock, but by the turning of the oven trays. It is a reliable heartbeat in the neighborhood, steadfast and true, offering a reprieve from the clamor of the outside world. Whether one seeks a quiet moment of reflection over a cup of coffee or a celebratory feast that honors the simple, profound joy of eating well, McLain's remains an unrivaled steward of taste. It is not merely a bakery; it is the living, breathing soul of Waldo, a place where every bite serves as a reminder that some things in this life are exactly as good as they ought to be.

I first discovered this gem in 2018 and I have never, ever been the same. Everything else dessert-related has grown basic, boring, and bland by comparison. Don't look back: you're not going that way. I haven't sampled everything here; however, I've never been disappointed by this place. My favorite is their strawberry rhubarb pie-- tart and sweet, even better with some vanilla ice cream on top. The classic apple is always a good choice--warm it up and prepare to die happy. Their caramel apple pie is rare and obscenely delectable -- DO NOT MISS THAT OPPORTUNITY! Their crust is flaky, buttery, and it pairs perfectly with the fruity goodness inside. The sugar sprinkled atop is their signature and what can I say? I never want any other pie again (don't tell my mom, okay?!). It's pointless. I can always count on sister-owners, Elaine and Jan, when I need to bring a treat to a get together. I have called numerous times at the last minute and they're always kind enough to set something aside or help me get a hold of the perfect little something. While pie is the star of the show, their pecan bars are equally delicious--salty n' sweet-- maybe just sinful! Also: did I mention they have the perfect hostess gifts? Tons of thoughtful presents for people you love, or just get yourself those darling oven mitts with dogs on them, you deserve it! I miss the days when I could come here with a friend and grab a cozy little table and enjoy a slice together. But you can take it to go and find a spot to sit outside-- or, if you're me, scarf it down in the car on your drive home. I love this place, I can't get enough, and it's always just what I'm craving.
