I've been a loyal customer of Nothing Bundt Cakes for quite some time and have always enjoyed their products--until now. I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at this Aventura location. After making a purchase using Apple Pay, I was unexpectedly asked to show my photo ID and the transaction receipt from my bank account/wallet. This felt completely unnecessary and intrusive, especially considering I've never encountered this policy before at any of their other locations. It's baffling and frankly off-putting to be treated with suspicion over a simple bakery purchase. This experience left a very bad taste in my mouth--not from the cake, but from the customer service. I won't be returning to this location, and I hope they reconsider how they treat loyal, paying customers. Message to the New owner Sabrina: You should reevaluate this unwarranted policy of showing Apple Wallet Transaction and an ID when making a small purchase. My favorite place ever! Each and everyone of my birthday cakes have been from here! Even my graduation cake. I don't know what it is about these cakes that are so delicious. The frosting can be a little overpowering but even the it's delicious. I think I've tried all if not most of their flavors and they are all sooo yummy. If you've never been to one of their stores (nationwide) it's definitely worth a visit. The location in North Miami has a nice set up and offers so many opportunities and a reason to bring someone some of these fresh done cakes and make it an occasion. Since it's the season, we tried the Pumpkin Spice, Chocolate Chocolate Chip and the White Chocolate Raspberry. They have a code that they give you in the box so you're sure to know what the cake is, and also, the packaging is super attractive sure to put a smile on anyone's face. The red velvet has the perfect ratio of fluff to moisture and they're like nothing I've had before. The frosting used is phenomenal. They are so yummy and moist. So far I tried raspberry chocolate cake, vanilla, lemon, snickerdoodles and red velvet. My favorite is the raspberry chocolate cake. I took 1 star put because they don't do special decorations so for kids birthday it's really not attractive but I improvise and did my own decor and it turned nice. Most importantly people were impressed with the flavor, they usually don't really eat birthday cake but this one they have second serving. It's good/bad that I live across the street from them.
