I ordered a lemon cake for a birthday dinner and it was delivered raw in the center. When we cut into it during the celebration, the entire middle was underbaked and sunken. It completely ruined the moment. Birthdays are special and you trust a bakery to get something as basic as baking a cake right. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what made this worse was how it was handled. I immediately contacted the store and was asked to send photos, which I did. After that I heard nothing for hours and had to follow up myself. When I was finally contacted, I was offered a replacement cake. At that point I had already spent my entire day going back and forth trying to get a resolution. What was most concerning was being told that they are aware of baking issues and that staff does not consistently bake the cakes properly. Hearing that this is an ongoing problem is alarming. Serving raw cake is not just a quality issue, it is a food safety concern. I have completely lost confidence in this location. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and knowingly sending out undercooked products is unacceptable. I will not be returning. read more

When I first stepped inside I noticed the how clean the store was and how spacious it is. I was greeted with a warm welcome by Larry and he assisted me with picking out a cake for my best friends birthday! He was very sweet and polite, also letting me know about the reward system they have! I appreciated that a lot. You can never go wrong with a yummy Bundt cake! It always is made perfect and so yummy! Went in today for their Churro Bundtlet cake yet since it's this locations Grand Opening today and the Churro Bundt cakes limited promotion ends today, they didn't have them. Ended up going with the Oreo Cookie Bundtlet. I also asked if they still had Carrot Cake? Larry said yes, and suggested I add it to my order, so needless to say I walked out with two bundtlets. This location just opened up this weekend. Stopped by to pick up some bundlets today. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with a smile when we walked in. The store was well organized, clean, and spacious. There were plenty of flavors to choose from. Ended up getting vanilla, red velvet, Oreo cookies and cream, and white chocolate raspberry. Our family was pleasantly surprised last year to discover the new Bundt Cake store in the new shopping center. Great / convenient location. Nice roomy store. Clean. Great selection and displays. Friendly staff. My only negative critique is that I wish they offered some additional discounts and promotions. I'm a senior citizen and it sure would help my budget to have a nominal discount. I'm sure you could also increase sales by offering quantity discounts too (buy 12 small cakes and get one free -- for example). How about limited time promotions to bring folks to the store? Get us into your store with the promotion and we'll certainly be tempted to buy non-promo items as well. Maybe reward teachers, fire fighters, police officers with a Community Discount. It's a great feeling to leave the store with a handful of cakes knowing you got a special deal. Yes, fixed costs are high and need to be covered for a small niche bakery. But my ideas would lead to sales above the fixed cost break even point, so the added gross margin on those increased sales would fall straight to free cash flow in my opinion. Starbucks or Stater Bros bakery next door is some formidable competition. I think my ideas would be a good wedge to pry folks away from your neighbors. read more
