Did a mobile order for an 8 inch Bundt cake, everything went fine and smoothly over the phone. We picked up the cake on 01-22-2022 at 5pm for my mothers birthday. We took the cake back to the house only for my mom to find two cockroaches crawling on the inside of the bag. The bag was not opened at all. Love the cake store. When you walk in it is decorated with a ton of stuff. The display case has all the Bundt cake sizes displayed. Everything looks so good. I got the chocolate cake and two mini cakes. The mini confetti cakes were so good and not overly sweet. The chocolate was also very good. I think it is the frosting that keeps me coming back. I love it! It is so creamy and delicious. The customer service was also good. I can't complain due to all the restrictions. There are only a few customers allowed in at a time and the others must wait outside. No problem waiting outside for a few minutes. Okay...where to start? I only ever come here because my sister likes their cakes. Last week was her birthday...she wanted a carrot cake. I wait in line and ask for a 8" cake that according to their price chart is $23. I was told that carrot cakes don't come in that size, that only (selected cakes) specific flavors come in the 8"!!??? So, I asked "then what size cake comes in the carrot cake flavor?" Moving on (I'm keeping it short) I pick a size then I'm told that it will be 25 minutes to let the frosting sit!!??? WTH does that even mean!!!!? JUST GIVE ME THE DAMN CAKE! Needles to say I left for whatever reason they can't sell you a frozen cake??? I had to get to my sisters in Orange County within the next 45 minutes. I am back today but this time I phoned in my order and paid for it over the phone. I was told to pick it up with my name. Easy Peasy right? I told the girl my name and nothing...it took her a little over five minutes to get my order from the back. Since, they didn't offer, I asked for a cutting knife and was told it would be $1.50!!!??? So let me get this straight... I just bought an overpriced overly sweet cake and you can't even throw in a plastic cutting knife? Talk about customer service! I brought my friends here because they've never tried Nothing Bundt Cakes before and we were all throughly satisfied. They had vanilla cake samples which sampled a lot. We bought a red velvet bundlet to share for the four of us and the cashier lady was super kind. She switched a bundlet for a bigger one so we can all share. She gave us for forks and told us about joining the emailing list for a free bundlet on our birthdays. She was super sweet and I wish I got her name. However I am truly disappointed with this bakery right now. My daughter absolutely loves sunflowers and it was a no brainer to have sunflowers on her cake for her special milestone birthday. I placed an order online and there were no options online that had both the age number flags on the cake as well as sunflowers so I ordered the birthday cake that had a yellow bow on it and left special instructions to please substitute the yellow bow with a sunflower. You can see in the picture my request which one would think it would be simple...put a sunflower on top instead of a yellow bow. It wasn't a crazy or unreasonable request in my opinion. Well my husband comes home from picking up the cake and there were no sunflowers on the cake, just the yellow bow. I called the store to find out why my request could not be fulfilled. All I was told was that maybe they didn't see my request or maybe they can't put a sunflower on a bow cake? That was the answer I received! Why have a place for customers to put special requests or notes if they don't even bother to read them or follow up with the customer if they can not fulfill a request? No phone call to let me know this ahead of time and give me a choice on what to do, they just went ahead and ignored the request and made it with the yellow bow. This is a special 21st birthday cake and my daughter really wanted sunflowers on it. I am truly amazed at how this could not be done! If you order online and have any specific or special requests, don't hold your breath. I will no longer buy birthday cakes or any cakes for anything here anymore in the future because of this incident and the response I received when I called. The chocolate bundt is better than any chocolate cupcake and cake I've had at a store up til now, but still wouldn't get it again. And the snickerdoodle is a pass. It was too eggy, and all around not my cup of tea (and snickerdoodle is my personal favorite). But the white chocolate raspberry. Let me tell you. Absolutely delicious. I walked in and was kindly greeted by their employees! And was surrounded by a cutely decorated setting! I took a look into their glass case and saw a variety of flavors and sizes of bundt cakes! I'm on that full-time college student budget so I needed to know the prices! So I inquired on the different prices for each size and was so amazed by how reasonably priced their cakes were! So I decided to get a single bundlet! I also asked the employee helping me what was her personal favorite flavor? And without hesitation she recommended the Cinnamon Swirl! As I was about to check out the lady helping me asked if there was a special occasion and I stated it was for my mom's birthday. So she asked me if I'd like to get it wrapped in cellophane and she also added a cute little flag that stated "Happy Birthday!" In addition it came tied with a FREE ribbon (You get to choose the color of your ribbon!) on top of that you have the option to add on a flower for $1 extra! (There were many flower options available!) AND it came clipped (a cute little clothes pin) with a little note card to write a little message that you can have typed up for you (at no additional cost!) or left blank for you to write in! I left that place spending less that $10! My mom was happy and so was my wallet! I'm definitely coming back again! On a side note! They also had free samples (1 flavor only). I understand only 3 people are allowed inside at a time per the sign on the door, so when we arrived there were 4 customers inside so we waited outside as the sign stated. Two more people just walked in, didn't hesitate. So once 3 people came out we (2 people) went in. The lady behind the counter started yelling for us to leave they were at capacity. So we stepped out side. 3 more people walked past us and walked in, one without a mask. They were allowed to stay. So when 2 people left we opened the door and the same rude lady yelled for us to read the sign they were at capacity. So we stepped back out, and a woman and her child walked in. Still waited and when we got the text that they were looking for our car we were still waiting standing outside and still they said our order wasn't ready when we tried asking for help. and now they said they never got the order. Other people were walking in and out with their orders before us. They are too unorganized not professional when you ask for help. No one was on the same page.
