NBC is without a doubt my #1 dessert place to go to and has been for the past 3 years! Although the location I primarily go to is the one in Rockwall, the one in Denton is just as good and both stores have very kind/helpful employees. The best thing about these cakes are just how moist and full of flavor they are consistently. In all my years of going to NBC I have never received a bundt cake that has been even slightly dry. The icing is to die for, especially on the red velvet bundtlet (which is my favorite)! I personally am not a fan of icing but the icing at NBC is VERY fresh and creamy, and you can taste the perfect amount of cream cheese in it, unlike other places that always have a almost plastic-like taste. The prices are also good depending on what size of a cake you want and they offer a ton of promotions such as a free bundlet on your birthday! An above and beyond review... I had already been recommended to this location by a relative who had gotten a deliciously moist cake for graduation. I had ordered and paid for a carrot cake for my dad's 74th birthday and was to pick it up before meeting for dinner with the entire family an hour later. On the way I had a tire blowout and realized I would not get there in time. Ashley made sure my cake made it to the restaurant next door so we were all able to enjoy the birthday party...cake and all.
