Let me start by saying the cakes are wonderful. The different flavors and presentation is quite cute and simple. However, the staff could use a refreshers course in customer service. Customer service shouldn't only be behind the counter but beyond the counter. There are displays outside of the counter and to reach out to customers would be wonderful. If you have a beautiful product (cakes) then customer service should go hand in hand. One of the most embarrassing situations was that I ordered a cake a few weeks ago and had a Happy Birthday message to be on a small card to be offered however, when the cake was presented, no message was typed out even though it was on the request of the order. Those tiny important quality checks should always be done. When the cake arrived to the birthday person and the message we typed wasn't there made it feel as if we just picked a cake and gave it to the person. When a person goes to the website to order a personalized cake, it's so important to see that the high priced cake is purchased because of the personalized touch to it. If I just want a basic cake, I could easily go to a grocery store. As a suggestion, a small piece of the cake flavor that is purchased should be available to the person who picks up the cake. I took them to drop off at the hospital where my husband had been last month. I've ordered multiple times, throughout multiple holidays from Nothing Bundt Cakes and never ever had a bad experience until now. I ordered my Mothers Day Bundt cake on 4/30 for curbside pickup. I scheduled the actual pickup for 5/9 at 5:30pm. My boyfriend went to go pickup my order at the allotted time - they told him that he had to wait because they couldn't find my order. He waited outside for 30 minutes as they searched for the order. Once they came out of their disorganization, they told him the order was processed and they found it BUT the Mother's Day decorations for the cake were not added as they had limited amount and didn't have enough for all orders. They told my boyfriend to choose from the available decorations (that were NOT as pretty as the Mothers Day decorations- which I also PAID MORE for). On the spot, he chose new decorations. I called the store and told them about my dissatisfaction: telling me that they have no mothers day decorations the day before the holiday because they order it from Japan and shipping was slow. At the end of the day, I would've been satisfied with at least a two days notice/day before pickup - but no, they tell me the day before the holiday. And to think I ordered it 2 weeks before the holiday on 4/30 -- how is that an excuse! They attempted to remedy the situation by providing me with 3 bundlets (muffin-size) to my credit. The experience and lack of professionalism was enough for me to not want to go back. Will likely not order from them in the future. Highly dissatisfied. Previously I had had Confetti, White Chocolate Raspberry, carrot cake, lemon cake, and red velvet. I have tried a variety of their cakes and bundtinis. My least favorite would be carrot cake and my absolute favorite would be the red velvet with chocolate chip. I think the bunditis taste much better than the cake knowing they use the same recipe but I just like them better. Last week, I went to the store to pick up a cake and I asked for the Red Velvet cake. I made sure twice about the cake. I also mentioned to them about not receiving the birthday email and they didnt seem to do anything about it. I took the cake and left. I had stopped at another place near by to get some things. I somehow decided to open the box just to make sure because I live about 15-20 mins away from here in case if they had given me the wrong cake. On the sticker outside the box it said chocolate chocolate chip. I did not order that and when I opened it, I could tell because the cake didnt look like it was red velvet! It was chocolate. I drove back and I asked them about giving me the wrong cake! I just didnt think that was necessary for me to drive back, I think they should make sure its the correct one before giving it to the customer. I have been to a few other locations of this chain and I find this one to be one of the best. It is large and I liked that I didn't feel cramped while waiting for my order to be packed up. The cakes here are pretty good. They have a lot of flavors and sizes. I really dig the frosting because it isn't too sweet. The cake was moist and it seems everyone is happy when I bring these to them. They are best the day you buy them. I've found they get dry in a hurry! Pretty disappointed in their customer service within the store. I placed a quick order online paid for, so all of need to do is pick it up once I got there - only one person behind the register and was on the phone doing a phone order, myself plus 2 other customers waiting to be greeted or acknowledged/helped. When she was done, one woman in the store asked about artificial dyes within the cakes, after she had already received what she purchased. The girl behind the register then proceeded to look through every manual to find the answer as to which ones had dyes, then asked her coworkers, they didn't know, but that whole process took about 10 minutes. Still no one came out to help the other customers - the register gal then asked her coworker in the back if she could help at the register to which they replied kind of snappy: "I can't I have to finish this." about whatever she was doing. The other coworker could have at least come out for 30 seconds to see what everyone was in for - pick up, place an order, etc and prioritized accordingly. So finally I was greeted by the original girl behind the register (after about 10-12 minutes!!) she gave me my order, and I left. This all took seconds. Considering it's graduation season, and people have orders to pick up, you'd think that there would be thoughtful scheduling consideration for the busy season and at least one other person at the register keeping the line moving, even just acknowledging customers as they came in...letting the line know they're seen and will be waited on momentarily - just basic customer service etiquette.
