A friend invited me to stop in with him to try a Bundt cake. He knew what he wanted and I did not so I looked into the display case for my decision. I don't like frosting on cakes or cupcakes so I asked for a plain lemon cake. I took it home and enjoyed it the next morning with a cup of coffee. It was moist and had good flavor. My first experience here wasn't so great. I placed my order online for pick up at a certain time, when I arrived 45 mins after that's confirmed time they said that my order was still being made. So I had to wait another 15 mins. I do have to admit that the bundtinis are amazing. They are so moist and flavorful. Buntinis are their Bundt cakes but cupcake size. They have 6 different flavors to choose from. My favorite is Red Velvet and confetti!!! Writing this is making me want more lol. The customer service was mediocre, no one engaged in conversation with me while I patiently waited for my order. When the girl finally came out there was no apology or empathy in her voice. The inside of the bakery is cute and clean. They have lots of coffee cups with special sayings on them, serving trays birthday bags etc all for sale up front. Free/easy parking in front of store. Terrific, clean displays and easy to follow menus. Delightful, albeit pricey, individual/gift-sized and gift-wrapped bundtlet cakes. Negatives: The cakes are accomplished the old fashioned way - high cholesterol butter and eggs with high-glycemic sugars, per their about-us-story. Yes, your fingers, napkins, paper plates will immediately soak through with grease. In this respect NBC has not evolved anywhere near the 21st century in terms of nutritional mindfulness or creativity. Speaking of which, no employee could point me to the actual nutritional contents, not even the bare bones carb, fat, fiber, cholesterol and protein. They swiftly directed me to the website as if they'd "answered" that query a hundred times. Unfortunately, unlike every other restaurant chain, NBC does not post any nutritional information anywhere on their website. None. And in hindsight this explained the darting eyes of the employees when they told me to check the website. Not cool. Lastly, the cakes are bland, flat. Even the carrot cake has almost no texture (most critically, no walnuts, never mind raisins). Sugar and butter will always have a following, but not for me. Give me coconut or olive oils. Load in the flavor textures like pecans, seeds, and cut back on the simple sugars by including natural alternatives, from honey to monk fruit and do the same with chocolate by elevating cocoa content above 51%. And just be upfront about your contents. Now we're talking! After writing to corporate I received the nutritional breakdown of each Bundtlet (the grapefruit-sized cakes). A Bundtini (their smallest cakes) are roughly 1/3 the calories of a Bundtlet, per the email that I received. read more

I am a pie and pastry girl BUT today these guys set up near my job and let's just say I am an instant addict. Their bundts come in a variety of flavors I got pecan praline and white chocolate raspberry, split both with my husband. Both are fluffy, flavorful and the icing is so good! Not expensive either! Everyone in the office seems to be enjoying their goodies, a few went back for seconds. Bundt cakes and I are on a break but that doesn't void the fact that they are delicious. The red velvet mini cupcake are airy in the base but packs a punch with frosting. Just had a very bad experience and had to post a negative rating for Nothing Bundt Cakes. I placed and paid an online order way ahead of time, thinking I can just go in and leave quickly. When I arrived, there was 1 person ahead of me and 1 employee helping the customer. The customer sounded like she had never been there before and wanted to know everything about the cakes. Also, the customer elaborated on and on about some party she was throwing, which she was going to have to decide what to order. I stood there for 15 minutes without the employee acknowledging me. No "hellos", nor "I'll be with you", and to top it off, there were 2 other employees in the back that I can hear just chit-chatting and having a good ole time. The only reason I eventually got waited was that later on, a family entered the store which prompted another employee to walk out from the back to help out. I love this place specially there cakes, I just bought one today Lemon Raspberry cake . I asked the sales clerk Kassi what's the best cake and she recommend this cake since it's their best seller. The cake is super moist, soft and you can taste the lemony taste but I was not sold of the Cake not like the last time I bought red velvet and chocolate the cake was awesome and the creamy icing was totally fabulous perfect sweetness not to sweet !!!. I was looking forward to get this cake for my wife for a surprise but I was not surprise of the taste of this. The white creamy icing is to sweet. Not like before the creamy icing is perfect not to sweet just perfect balance of sweetness is to much but for this cake it's super sweet, even my kids complained it's super sweet. My opinion this cake is not for me. I'll stick to red velvet or chocolate vanilla cake not this flavor.
