We went with my wife and kids on a Saturday night , had to find street parking which wasn't too bad but there was a line already so we waited about 35 mins . I didn't get a chance to confirm the cost ahead of time so that's my fault. We were seated by staff and my server wasn't overly friendly as I assume she was busy so I hurriedly gave her my order . I hate that I have to give one less star because the hostess and what I can only assume was the manager were so disrespectful when we were waiting to be seated. I came here on a Friday night with two friends at about 6:45 PM and the wait was about 15 minutes. They do not take reservations for parties under 5. My one friend had put her name down and gotten a number and right around the 15 minute mark, the hostess said a table was ready but called the number after us and sat the people waiting behind us first. My friend went up and said very loudly that we were there first and the hostess and manager both looked at and heard my friend but did not apologize or even acknowledge her. It was so disrespectful as a business to not even acknowledge or remedy it and left such a bad taste that my friend will likely never come back and it is sad because the food and table service were excellent. We got seated and immediately, the waitress wanted our order. We had to turn her away and just get us water first. Once we were ready, we ordered calamari (1 ring pp), money bags which are crab and cream cheese (1 bag pp), edamame, kani salad, sushi pizza (so good!!), sashimi and a bunch of rolls. We ordered two rounds and the appetizers and sashimi always came out very quickly. The rolls always ended up taking a lot longer so order those as quickly as you can. All you can eat sushi is such a good deal. Defintiely come with a group so you can try a little taste of everything. The service was extremely fast considering the amount of food we ordered. They were slow to bring a few things out though, and waited last minute to bring some orders we wanted out when we thought they had forgotten about them. If you love sushi I do highly recommend this location as they offer all you can eat sushi for 2 hrs as well as other small plates. I think the prices are very reasonable as well. I believe it's 40 dollars per person and you can choose as much from the menu. It'll probably be cheaper than ordering separately. Just make sure you finish your plates. So order as you go. Drinks are great and have a good selection of cocktails. Customer service overall was good! My favorite dish was the shrimp and broccoli (literally to die for) and the avocado salad. I was not a fan of some of their sushi options. Nova Asian Bistro...why. Just why. Yes it's a convenient AYCE "Japanese fusion" place that is affordable but at what cost? For extremely rude service and pretty appalling food depending on what you order (which is most of the menu). Like I understand our server genuinely hates her job and has no problem showing it, but you know you could always get a new job or at least not pretend to hate your current one if it pays the bills. As for the food, in my previous review I mentioned the sushi pizza isn't bad and I stand by that statement. However, some other items look like literal cat food and probably taste worst than it as well. A perfect epitome of this would be the tuna tartare. I'm pretty sure it was expired tuna from a can and I kid you not, it literally had a Pringle on top of it. A Pringle guys. Can we just remove half of this menu to simplify things? Another epitome of it was any of the sashimi (minus the salmon, ie the only one edible). The rest of them were literally slimy and absolutely appalling. Pretty sure one of the items gave me food poisoning, and the fun part is you truly can't tell which item it was! Have been wanting to try Nova Asian Bistro for a long time ever since they open in my area. Finally, my wife and I and my brother-in-law and his wife came here for dinner. We chose the all you can eat menu. We started with the apps, I had the Avocado Bowl, Avocado skin with Crabmeat inside, it was awesome, many other apps and sushi but the best was the Signature Rolls, I had the American Dream Roll, Shrimp tempura and cucumber topped with eel, avocado, black tobiko and eel sauce and the Pink Lady Roll, Pink soy bean sheet wrap with shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, eel and avocado with eel sauce and of course many others. Too many to list. With all you can eat at restaurant, all the staff were attentive, polite and very efficient. It was a great experience. The presentation of the sushi was awesome so of course I took pics. Highly recommend this restaurant with a beautiful decor, bar and seating and very clean. Hope to be back soon. read more

This is not a buffet, I believe it's $35 a person and you have two hours to eat and if you order extra food and don't eat it they will charge you, the quality of the food is mediocre at best, the service is fast and like other reviews they're not the friendliest when you say thank you which I did multiple times they never reply, the food does come out very fast, and since it's all you could eat, the portions are not very big, but you almost feel forced to fill yourself up because it's all you could eat, I don't think I will be coming back here read more

It's annoying to have to berbally give your order as opposed to other AYCE places that have a sheet you can write down your order. At present, this is my go-to place for AYCE sushi, my wife and I have been here so many times, the place is decent, clean, service is quick, price is fair, lots of food choices. Unlike other AYCE sushi, here you don't fill out a paper on what to order, you just have to verbally order it from the wait staff. Wait time for your order is amazingly quick considering that most of our order is sashimi, sushi and special rolls. They don't skimp on the ingredients of your rolls, unlike some other places where the rolls you order are mostly rice and you could not even see the fish, crab meat or avocado. Food plating was great, when hand rolls are properly plated it looks like a work of art. They keep the place clean and pristine. Wait staff are always around when you need them. Food taste is exceptional. Restaurant ambiance is cool, they keep a subtle purplish neon light on which is not too strong making the place classy. Once your wait staff comes you best be ready to order, they make you order quick and are not helpful with the menu. Went there last Thursday with a group of 7 people. We had a reservation for 6:30p but some of us got there earlier and hung out at the bar as we didn't want the timer to start without everyone being present. This is maybe the 4th time I've eaten at the restaurant and I immediately noticed the specialty rolls had a LOT of rice. I don't know if it's because we were a bigger group, but they definitely packed in the rice. The sashimi also was not fresh, specifically the red tuna and yellow tail. An off putting color. Midway- we asked for a round of green tea shots which the waitress did not understand so she asked us to write down the recipe. We were dumbfounded so we asked her to forget the shots to which she insisted we ordered it and the bartender would look it up. As a group in whole, we didn't eat much- quickly filling up on the overly riced sushi. When it was time to get our bill. The two waitresses stated we were going to be charged for the leftovers. This was the icing on the cake. There was not that much food left to be charged for it. I've been to many of these AYCE sushi places and for the amount of food we ate and left over was minimal. She then proceeded to point at the few pieces of tuna and yellowtail sashimi and scolded us that it was expensive. We then all tried to eat one more piece of what was left while they glared at us.
