So I will preface this by saying I was here last July for a recall on my 2013 KIA FORTE and while the experience was okay from the service perspective but not great from a customer service standpoint, I decided to give them another try today. I recently got a flat on my rear passenger tire where I purchased a cheap new one. However, they told me my other tires needed to be replaced but I had wanted to do some more research. I saw that the Kia Dealership had a name brand I recognized as affordable and reliable so I decided to see if I could get a drive up appointment on my day off. I pulled up and was quoted an hour and forty five minutes for my installation and wait. Rachel was my service advisor that day and she was great. I think my overall wait was only an hour or so. Moritz Kia service ends the second you close the deal. I have in writing that they will replace the cracked windshield I purchased this summer. They told me it would take a week or so to get in and would call me to install. After 6 weeks of no call, I called and left a message for our salesman. No return call. Since August I've left 4 additional voicemails for the salesman, one for the finance dept, and two on their general mailbox. They have never returned a call. They also need to align the wheels to fix a minor issue. Both of these are written on the agreement signed by Moritz Kia and me. They also took 2 months to send me my license plates. I was driving around with expired tags for several weeks. So if there's a car there you just can't live without, know that you will receive no service after the date of sale, if your experience is anything like ours was. read more

Whatever you do, do not purchase a vehicle at this dealership and absolutely do not use their service department. The service department is horrible! I took my car in at 9:30am in the morning with a repeat issue with the engine on a 2015 Kia Soul that I purchased at this dealership. Another Kia dealership in Oklahoma had already completed an engine flush for $900, less than a week ago. I was furious that it was actually running worse and barely running when I went into this dealership with the engine light on once again. Not only were they not able to fix anything, they could not even do a diagnostic evaluation on it for two more days. They didn't even bother to communicate with me. I called and had to leave a message. Then I went in at 2:30 and they had nothing to tell me. It wasn't until I went back in at 5:30 PM and asked if they even knew what was wrong with the vehicle that they told me they could not complete the diagnostic evaluation for another couple of days. Basically, it took a day for them to do absolutely nothing. No phone calls, absolutely no communication whatsoever. They just don't care! They only want your money so don't buy a Kia vehicle, especially not at this dealership. Do not use their service department!!!! Finally, I just asked for my keys and took my car to local auto shop that closed at 6pm and they fixed it within 30 minutes. Apparently in Oklahoma, that Kia service department either cracked one of my spark plugs or just overlooked the entire issue! It was dangerous to drive and neither Kia service department cared!! I encourage you to take a few more steps next-door and go to the Toyota dealership whose service department spent about 30 minutes just helping my mother understand how to use her radio. We bought my wife's 2026 Sorento from this location today. By far the best dealership experience I've had from the sales side all the way to finance. We worked with Ceferino and have nothing but good things to say about him and how he understands the vehicle. Finance manager was on point and not pushy on the services (although I did buy an extended warranty on the electronics). But once the contracts are signed, you become a 2nd class citizen, PARTICULARLY when repairs and warranty work are needed. The techs at the service department are friendly enough, until they are not. The impatience and rudeness will take you completely off gaurd. Others have shared here how the service dep. Experience will leave you shook and enraged. They are not lying. There is no point going into further detail as the reader will trust my accounts and heed my warning to buy elsewhere, at their own discretion. The entire transaction was very simple and rather quick. We drove happily off of the lot with a brand new vehicle. The process for getting your vehicle checked out for ANY reason absolutely sucks and it's the most inconvenient way I have ever heard of. They require you to drop off your vehicle for any type of inspection even when your car is displaying a warning. They give the time frame of DAYS for your vehicle to be inspected. beware! I bought a brand new 2019 Kia Optima, which is known for this specific year to have engine problems. I had the hundred thousand mile. I paid off my car and immediately started having engine trouble, but the car was still under warranty, so I took it in to be fixed. They found every reason in the world to not fix my car and basically told me there's nothing they could do for me. I'm a single with no car now because Kia is a joke. I've never been treated so badly at a car dealership, especially by the floor manager who immediately was talking down to me because I was trying to be a smart consumer and save money. His first comment was "I told Patrick (sales guy) a pretty woman is gonna give you trouble". I have all our interactions recorded, listening back was more frustrating because I was staying calm and kind... and selling myself short for how much I knew and saw through the BS. Within the first few minutes of meeting him, he told me I was "difficult", sighing and saying "gaahhh leeeee" when I refused to play the "what do you want your payment to be" game. He also made a comment about him "knowing what kind of person I am". Anything "nice" he said like how I'm direct, was backhanded. For a grown man who is twice my age to treat me like that was disheartening... not only that, it was inappropriate. You can do sales without being obnoxious. There's more but that's plenty to express how he was towards a customer. I suppose he was just trying to use intimidation tactics but at the end of the day, I just wanted to save money. I'm a single mom that wants to be wise with my finances -- to be treated in such a patronizing way because I'm aware of all the sales tactics they use to get you to buy, and it wasn't going as planned. I might seem naïve and clueless, but I'm not. I don't blatantly voice that know I know the whole sales script. Yikes. I just find it to be comical that they think people are unaware of their deflecting and manipulation. Maybe Moritz needs to teach a soft-skills workshop for their employees. You can disagree or feel annoyed with a customer, but learn how to hide it at least by putting your big boy pants on and learn how to speak to people. I would've been a repeat customer and refer others but his lack of emotional intelligence, kindness, and maturity killed that. I wish I would've just gone to Classic Kia in Carrollton. They treated me well when I bought from them, even when I negotiated. I didn't want to make the drive today. I'm in a hurry to buy after being in an accident that totaled my car. Today was just a headache of jumping through mental hoops. Here's some advice: if you have an informed customer, just sell them the car! Yeah, you might not get a big profit but you'll get referrals, repeat customers, and good reviews. Take it on the chin and know it will benefit you in the long run. Save the tricks and big profits on the easier prey. From the beginning, I told the sales rep Patrick that I didn't want to pay for add ons. That was my mistake. I should've just held onto that and gotten the price and then negotiated. Before I even test drove a car he was selling me on things that could compensate not paying the fees. I know he's just trying to do his job... and judging by his floor manager, he's probably put down incessantly when he can't bully somebody into a sale. If he treats a customer the way he did, I can't imagine how he treats the people he manages. The floor manager with the very apparent fragile ego that doesn't like to be challenged, first put me down. When that didn't work, he made me "deals". Prices were manipulated elsewhere. $50 here, $115 there, etc etc etc. I'm sure they were going to call the finance guy before I got back there to make up the difference with "waived" add-on fee, by manipulating the interest rate. While EECU gave me 5.49%, they'd likely offer me 8-9%. Then they'd all laugh together saying "ha, stupid woman" after I got my keys. I'm not cheap, but it's the principle of it. It's dishonest and doesn't make me want to do business with them. I understand business and that they need to make money. If you can't come down, then just say it instead of being sneaky. I'm aware that don't just give you a deal. They were going to get what I attempted to negotiate down somehow and obviously that was in a slimy and pushy way. I dropped my Kia off in July due to my engine being bad. Kia told me they would order and replace the engine but a month went by and I still did not get any help or resolve from Kia. I lost my job and Kia finally gave me a loaner. Afterwards I would still call every week to try and check on my car. They told me not to worry about my car because I had a loaner and I should be okay. They have replaced the engine twice at this point and they claim that they have not been able to order the right engine for my Kia rio 2020 which is one of there cars. It is now October and the loaner has been hit in a hit and run while I was at school. This is exactly why I was worrying about my original Kia and wanting it back because I don't have to worry about these issues with my own car. Originally joby told me he would look at the pictures I sent him of the car and try to work with me. (9/11) I sent the pictures to both Scott and joby and they didn't get back to me until a month later which is when I went on the lot. He told me he would get right back. When Scott called he didn't tell me how much I would owe but he told me that they were going to trade the vehicle and get me a new loaner. I came up there empty handed and they snatched the loaner and left me to have to get an Uber home with no way of getting to work or school. I told him I would have to work the next two days and start school Monday and he told me that joby told him there is nothing he can do about it. While I was there Scott told me if I had $250 he would work with me and get me a new loaner. I left the lot crying because I knew I would lose my job. I got the $250 and wanted to pay this week but Scott called me today (Monday) saying that joby told him that I would have to pay the full $500 and not the $250 even though he said he would work with me to get a new loaner. I asked if I could talk to joby and he said he won't be there until Tuesday and hasn't been there all day. I have called joby and left him four voicemails at this point explaining the whole situation to him and he has not even called me back. I missed my first day of school and I might miss out on work this week resulting in another lost job within four months due to KIA going back on their word. I feel they can work with me because they have my old car which they haven't even been working frantically to fix and if they had have then I wouldn't have even needed the loaner this long! They could hold my original car until I pay off the full $500 and I could give them $250 this week. Now I am out of a car and a job and missing out on school due to them pretending they would work with me and they never did. As well as putting two bad engines in my car and saying they didn't know which engine to order to THEIR VEHICLE!! read more

He addressed all the points about the vehicle and our comments in a very professional way. For example: the bolts came with locks, and without the key. Moritz took care of everything in a friendly, transparent and uncomplicated way. The seller was professional, didn't try to sell anything unnecessary, and was very good, transparent and honest. This is rare enough to mention. The vehicle met our expectations, and after 2 months of driving, we're very happy to have worked with this dealership. My daughters new car window will not go down all the way. She lives 2 hours away. They keep the car for 2-3 days for diagnostic purposes and won't give you a loaner. You can't make an appointment and they keep your only car for 2-3 days. There has to be a better way. First dealer I've ever had this problem with. read more

My engine went out and I brought my car to Kia in July. I dropped it off and they wouldn't provide my with a loaner. According to my first post here at Kia. They finally gave me a loaner a month after of not having a car or a job because I lost it thanks to them holding my car. I finally received a loaner vehicle and it was hit in a hit and run. It left a small mark on the rear of the car. I called Joby and told him about it and he said he would look at the car and possibly help me work out a deal for the car. He never called me back. I brought the car back to the shop because they told me they wanted to trade out the vehicle. They ended up taking my loaner vehicle and leaving me with no vehicle to drive. Scott demanded that I pay $500 that day even though they never called me back and told me I would need the $500 when I came back up there to help me to better prepare for when I came back up there. Scott told me at the dealership I could at least lay $250 and he would help me get a loaner. I didn't have that and I left the lot crying because I didn't know how I could get to work. I called joby four times and still haven't heard back from him even today. Monday. Today (Monday) Scott called me saying never mind you need to pay the $500. I told him that my uncle was willing to help me with the $250 later this week but I wouldn't have the $500 until Saturday at the latest. I told him I missed my first day of school and I am on the verge of losing my job. He didn't even care. I came up with $250 to be able to get the loaner and Scott went back on their word. He said that joby said that it would be $500 to get a loaner and I still haven't even heard back from joby and I left him four voicemails. Now I have no way to get to work!!! Mind you they are still holding my original Kia. They said they replaced the engine twice and they still ordered the "wrong" engine. It's been held since July and I still haven't gotten it back. My experience with Moritz Kia of Hurst started with them lying and blaming me for things they had screwed up on the car, and ended much the same way. The cherry on the top of their abusive cupcake of misery was the way they left me stranded on the side of the road in 109 degree, direct sun, Texas heat, with a dead battery. A dead battery that they neglected to tell me anything about 15 minutes prior when I picked up the car after they had it for a week. Did you catch that? I had the car in my possession for less than an hour. But of course, I called upset and grew increasingly more upset as time went on and I could not get through to a single human person because their phone lines are janky and designed to disconnect you. When I did finally get through, I was told it was MY FAULT the battery was dead, there was no possible way it was them, and nope they would not be sending out any person that could jump my car. However, they said, "You can pay for a tow truck and then we will look at it to determine if it is something we did and then we can reimburse you for the tow." I'm enraged typing this just thinking of how inconsiderate and bullshitty that is. Even just as another human being, you'd think that someone with the capability to come jump a car, knowing someone is STRANDED, outside, in 109 degrees MF, would get in their own vehicle and come jump a car. Nah, not at Moritz! So I told them I would absolutely not be doing that, and they said, oh fine you can call this other tow company and they can invoice you and THEN we will decide it was your fault and you can pay for the tow later instead." Well, basically. They didn't quite admit they would never determine it was their fault ever in 100 billion years so I was out of luck no matter what. I called back, asking for a manager. I got voicemail. They don't respond to voicemails, but I left one anyway. I was upset and crying and asked for a call back as soon a s possible. It's been six days and I have yet to receive a single follow-up from ANYONE at Moritz Kia. Not a single person has reached out and asked, hey everything alright? We never got your car towed in. Just checking to make sure you didn't die on the side of the road or something. Gross. Moritz Kia of Hurst. You are so gross. Luckily, I'm not dead on the side of the road and slow cooked like some kind of human brisket. Because I walked down a bit and right into Grubbs Nissan where the service manager was HAPPY to come jump my car for me. At no charge. Saldy I trust this dealer and this sales guy Andrew to order a SUV for me, and tried to check in monthly to make sure things were on track. Lies all lies At some point the sales guy, switched to a different position in the company and and never let me know, so after a number of emails I wrote and no reply I called and talked to a different sales guy who told me about the position change, well great for him it would have been great if he could have replied to an email saying here is a new salesperson ect. but no too much to ask for. I purchased my Sorento in 2022 at the Kia dealership of hurst, my experience since then, hasn't been the best at all. Trying to get a hold of someone to schedule appointments is a long process. When calling the service department, the phone can ring over five minutes then disconnects. Now you have to call back, when you finally do get an appointment and you have a scheduled appointment time you're waiting at the dealership for hours before your car is even take in and even if you had an 8:00 appointment. Today's issue has truly made me want to end my relationship with Kia. I called this morning November 1 seeking help because last night I tried to get gas and the gas tank door would not open, so I'm reaching out for help from the Dealership. The representative wasn't helpful and transferred me to somebody she said could help me. If they don't answer go ahead and leave a message because they might be on lunch right now (it's 11:00AM). OK no problem I get transferred it goes straight to voicemail first ring and I'm not able to leave a message. It takes me back to the automatic message asking what department I want to be transferred to press one for the service department. I let her know, I wasn't able to leave a message she transfers me again so that I can try to leave a message again, this time I was able to leave a message. It was maybe 1115 or so it's now 4:30pm and I have not heard anything back. Am I supposed to keep calling after leaving a voicemail? Since I can't get any help from the dealership that I go to all the time for all of my services (where I purchased the vehicle) and everything else. I decided to call the Kia dealership in Fort Worth the lady in the service department in Fort Worth had a very different demeanor. Super nice at the beginning, was like very apologetic about what is happening to me. She said "let me find the guy that could probably help, she proceeds to say how I would have to get it open, which was break it but not really break it, she said Maybe he can help you over the phone. Perfect not a problem, I'm on hold for maybe 15 minutes. She comes back on the phone to say that it would be too complicated and he's not able to walk me through it. And he's advising that I call roadside assistance. Maybe they could help, I called roadside assistance to give him all my information and tell him what's going on for him to tell me he doesn't not provide this service. He said he can tow it for me, but not knowing what is covered, what I may have to pay to get it to the dealership was a very frustrating experience. My gas light is on, I'm not able to put gas in the car. I have an appointment for service November 3. But if I can't get gas it could take 3 to 5 weeks to even get another appointment if I miss this one. I AM SO FRUSTRATED! read more

Recently, I had two-weeks of email interaction with an internet sales associate at Moritz Kia of Hurst. He was very responsive, but he made promises that he later refused to keep. In email he said that I could purchase a 2021 Kia Telluride EX for invoice + dealer profit of around $890. I thought, "Great!" Later, I confirmed that this offer was true, and he confirmed that it was. When I finally decided the exact configuration I wanted, I asked for the price, and he gave me an above MSRP price. When I mentioned the two times he said he would charge just invoice + profit, he simply apologized for misleading me. I appreciate the honest admission, but I do not appreciate being carried along for two weeks with the false hope of a price that he promised and confirmed. I don't consider this honest sales. It feeds into the low reputation car salesman are known for. Since I wrote this review, the General Manager of Moritz Kia Hurst reached out to me to try to resolve the "misunderstanding." I welcomed a resolution. Since he saw documented evidence (emails) of a promise made to me, he said he would keep that promise. So I ordered a 2021 Kia Telluride. Well, it came. They told me the price. It included some fees that I was not told about, like an approx. $500 ad fee, and a title/license expense that was about 3x what I saw was the average for Dallas, TX. By the time all the extra stuff was added to the dealer invoice, I realized that it was not very far from the MSRP. I asked about these and were not happy with them, but I was willing to accept them. But then they added floor mats in the front and back, which I did not order or want once I saw them, but they said that these were not-negotiable. In fact, they said that nothing was negotiable because we were getting such a good price. Granted, it was only about $260 for those mats, but they had such a "take or leave it" kind of attitude, I told my wife that even if I have to pay thousands more for a car, I didn't want her to feel such un-customer-friendly experience as they gave at this dealership. I really wanted to post a positive conclusion to this experience, but the salesmen and general manager(s) at this dealership just made it impossible for me to do. I was working with Andrew with Internet Sales after being passed off from the on site sales person. I had a good impression with the on site people, Stephanie and Kirk; however when I ended up with Andrew, everything went awry. He was aggressive and very unprofessional. I am handicapped and yet he pulled the cars to drive to the back of the building with steep stairs instead of the front with the handicapped ramp. When I mentioned the stairs, he said my other option was to walk all the way around. Seriously? No offer to bring the car to the end of the handicapped ramp? I was irritated but decided to tarry on. I was happy with the car and ready to make a deal. When we had talked, I mentioned the 1.9% financing and the incentives that were being offered. He never mentioned that you can't do the 1.9 and the KF $2,000 off incentive. So when we sat down after doing the OTD price, everything was fine. I think he was surprised when we actually qualified for 1.9% so then we were asked about our down payment. When we told him how much we were putting down he suddenly told us that we couldn't have the 1.9 and the $2K off. This would have been fine if we had been told in advance. He got very combative, so I matched him. He argued that it is in the fine print on kia.com. However, I could not find it on Kia of Hurst website, which is where the car deals are listed. The car is also under a link to the cars offered at 1.9%. This link lists all of the KF extra offers and the 1.9% with no mention of the either or caveat. It was deceptive through omission. So I called another dealership and they were honest on the phone about the 1.9 or the $2K off and it was listed on their dealership's website. I got the exact car I wanted and at a great price. Honesty and respect goes a long way. Andrew was rude and even followed me out to my car after I told him the deal wasn't going to happen. He kept arguing and I had to tell him to get away and stop following my twice. I know salespeople have to be persistent but he doesn't realize rude, condescending, bullying tactics don't work anymore. Mr. Karki at Southwest Kia were professional and gave me a great deal with honesty and integrity. My wife and I went to this dealership today and test drove two vehicles. I liked the salesman and feel that he was knowledgable and professional. We found one that we liked and started to talk numbers. I was going to buy the vehicle if the final price was right. The salesman then said that Kia is still charging $1,850 above sticker on their vehicles which surprised me. I should have left then, but I stuck around to see what their final price on the vehicle was. The salesmen came back after about five minutes and said that the sales manager would only give me about 15%-20% of the average trade-in value for my car. I refuse to do business with a place that over values their new car by 8% and under values my trade-in by 80%. This place is still in business, so I guess there are people out there dumb enough to accept deals like this. However, I will not waste my time going back to this dealership. read more

David Burford told me that he would personally come out to my place of work to help finish the paperwork and give me the car. I tried calling him many times Monday morning but he would not call back. No sanitizer or wipes anywhere Pens used for signing paperwork were reused and show no signs of being cleaned between customers. Same for giant touch screen desk No one was in masks at that point Although I understand the salesperson could not go on a test drive with us, he (initials AG) did not do ONE thing to tell us about the car we were buying. We just going through the motions. He let me go on the test drive without even telling me where signals etc were. Was told--not ASKED--that they would be pin-striping the vehicle. On the way out, he said we could look the car up on You Tube. Seems like he could have shown us some things on his computer, or verbally walked us through it at the least. Did not seem committed to providing an excellent experience during this period. Never heard from the sales guy after I took the car home. Be warned if you do your oil changes here. I just caught the dealership ripping me off after 2.5 years. A mechanic today asked me why I have been using synthetic blend on my vehicle. He pulled me aside and told me the dealership does this all the time to customers and he felt really bad about it. I found out they have putting synthetic blend oil in my car but charging me full synthetic for over 2 years. I have paid upwards of $79.99 for an oil change here for full synthetic but I have always received a blend. What kind of bs is that? Moritz Kia Hurst, why have you been cheating by me for almost 3 years? I think you owe me some money or free oil changes. Shady business practice. I will never be going back there again. read more

Put a deposit down on a carnival, got my current vehicle appraised, and had "a deal" worked out that I was told would stand until purchase. A few months later the carnival arrived so I went in to sign paperwork only for Joseph to blindside me and offer less for my appraisal and monthly payment went up $300/ month. Credit wasn't ran or anything and was told that I had to put at least $6,000 down or they couldn't work with me. The whole reason I was getting into this vehicle is because I have twins on the way and my current vehicle won't accommodate my growing family. Just disgusting he knew this and still pulled that. I went to get my car serviced and when getting it serviced instead of the service advisor asking me questions and sounding concerned it constantly argumentative... after me paying for a service and them having my car for a week I had to come back up her and waste my time and gas and there was no apology or nothing and when I tried explaining how it was an inconvenience they didn't seem to care I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THE KIA OF HURST I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THE ONE OFF LAS VEGAS TRAIL they care about their customers..... read more

Raising his voice and cutting me off. I will just send a letter to the Kia company as I am not going to deal with him. Also need to call from a number that shows Kia.
