Very surprised there is no ginger/carrot dressing for your salad! Only ranch or yum yum sauce! Music in restaurant was extremely loud and we asked waitress to turn down the volume! Enjoyed the soup and sushi. read more

Decided to try out the sushi place in town. Not disappointed - It was pretty empty on a Friday at 2pm, which I guess it's understandable. Service was good. Had crab rangoon, which were made w thick wraps, almost bread/cracker like. The rolls were great, had a Vols roll and one more.. good size rolls, good flavors, good presentation. The hibachi is awesome. Sirloin steak and teriyaki chicken is 10/10. Staff is very friendly. It's as good as any hibachi style I have had.

Food was just so so. Service was ok. Was very disappointing. Was not worth the 40 minute drive.

This place is great if you're going in and sitting down to eat. Nice atmosphere and staff, good food. My experience with picking up a called in order was different. Was told the food would be ready in 15 minutes, waited 20 and went in. Was told to wait by the bar for our food to be ready, which took another 15 minutes, meanwhile we were in everyone's way standing by the bar. read more

Nova's is a very good addition to the restaurants in Greeneville if you can enjoy some Asian fusion food. I have been here for lunch on a regular weekday. This place is packed and possibly had to wait for 45 minutes get seated. I got the chefs special grilled salmon with sautéd mushrooms, broccoli and fried rice. The salmon was cooked perfect and I enjoyed my food. The have good egg rolls too. I probably will visit back some time. I'm not a frat sushi lover but heard from my buddies that they were good. read more

Unfortunately, I had the worst lunch here today I've ever had. It was anything but what you could call Japanese food. I ordered Tempura broccoli, vegetable Eggrolls and a Pepsi. I asked the waitress for Tempura dipping sauce and she had no idea what I was talking about. (I had been given a cup of Ranch dressing ). The broccoli was oil drenched. The Eggrolls (2) were majority cabbage filling. For these two appetizers and a Pepsi I was charged an unbelievable $16. We were given next to no service. Greeneville isn't the restaurant Mecca like Asheville, Johnson City, or some other area cities. There are a few gems here, some of them more hidden than others. Nova's Sushi Bar & Grille fits that bill. While we went for sushi, a couple of us were surprised to find they also offered hibachi. The bento box looked awesome (bring an appetite). Prices were (in my opinion) reasonable. The service was attentive, which can be rare in the current COVID environment. Nova's is now added to our office lunch list. read more

Totally worth the wait for this place!!! The sushi rolls were flavorful and fresh, without being overloaded with rice. They were really busy but we didn't feel ignored or pressured at all. I eat a LOT of sushi, so I was anxious to try this place. My husband got the sirloin steak hibachi. It was kind of no-frills, and he said the steak was a bit chewy (hence the 4-star), but still enjoyable. It's worth a try.... we went after church and it was really busy. Neat restaurant in the Greeneville Commons. Very clean and organized business. Very friendly servants. Fairly cheap on the sushi rolls, not ridiculously priced. We went to dinner on July 6th the day the dining room opened back up. We were extremely pleased with the food and service. Sushi is out of this world. We have come back several times and each time very pleased. The only thing I would change is the chairs and the bench seating had a missing back cushion so the screws we hanging out and o didn't notice right away so when I sat down the caught my shirt and my back. Visited the restaurant on a Tuesday around 7pm. The restaurant had a good crowd inside. We're were seated at a table that was very wobbly and we tried to stuff napkins under the legs. We ordered the sushi (2rolls) and my wife ordered Lo mein with House shrimp. While waiting for the food we told the waitress about the table. She giggled and said "yea kinda wobbly". The sushi came out, and she stated the lo Mein would be out soon. The sushi was very average, and fell apart while trying to eat it. The lo Mein came about 10 minutes later. The lo Mein was terrible. Had absolutely no taste, and the tiny little shrimp tasted like something out of a freezer bag. Tried to get the attention of the waitress, however she was hugging and flirting with her boyfriend who was seated at the bar. Really sad we were hoping Greeneville was going to have a wonderful Asian inspired restaurant. If you want better sushi go to Publix's, and if you want boring tasting noodles with frozen shrimp make it at home. Save your money. read more

Tried this today for lunch and had a bento box. Delicious. The atmosphere is so nice and warm. For a new restaurant the staff were very organized and even though it was packed at lunch, staff were attentive, friendly, and checked on each other's tables. I visited this restaurant for the first time ever today the person greeting my son and myself was wearing a mask. So I wasn't really paying attention we were focused on ordering after we did we spent ten minutes looking at menu because if it was good we would know what to order next time. After this I started to look around restaurant then I noticed the person making sushi wasn't wearing a mask so I looked into kitchen and saw that NO one was wearing a mask. So I asked to cancel order this really made waitress angry she started giving me attitude to the point I had to tell her not to talk to me that way. So then she said very rudely consider it canceled. Then I had to remind mind her I needed a refund. After attitude she gave me reciept then as we were walking out she yelled across the restaurant ( very sarcastically) ty and you have a great day so as I was leaving I looked at her said your welcome ty and ty for your great service and attitude. I'm sorry but in these time I will not even go to a fast food place that are not wearing mask. I just think that if you are going to have a restaurant in this time you need to make sure your clientele are safe they had mask but they were in their necks not their faces. I'm sorry that being afraid to not eat food that was prepared by people not wearing mask made the waitress so angry. But this says a lot about this place and how they don't care. For myself my friends and family we will never give this place a second chance.
