Time to update my review for this place - we dined in here tonight and also I dined here a few months ago for lunch. This is maybe the best Thai restaurant in the area. My former fave was Sy Thai in Bham/Troy, but this place is excellent. Today and I believe the time before I got the pad cashew, mild, with chicken. They give you a very large amount although I do wish there was a little bit more cashew. The rice is super fluffy and for the two of us today, they gave us enough for 4+ people. My boyfriend always gets the Panang curry here, medium, and loves it; I tried it today and it was delicious, albeit a bit spicy for me (I can't do much spice), but I'd try it with mild spice. We also got complimentary shrimp chips with our dinner and I think when I went for lunch, soup was included. Dinner prices ranged from $13.75-$14.75 depending on protein choice (chicken, pork, or veggies was $13.75, beef and seafood was $14.75) which is on par with other places in the area. Definitely check Siam Spicy out if you're in the Novi area or visiting.

The service is very traditional and kind. One of the perks that makes this place always joyful to come too. I like when it's unique like that. Like I always say it makes eating more enjoyable. I love the Satay with the peanut sauce with a side of white rice. They will translate their entrees for you. You will always know what you are getting. On this day we encounter the rudest customer ever. Just keep in mind take the time to read levels of spiciness. This guy was taking out on the staff. The dishes are made fresh so there will be some waiting. It's better to come at lunch it's where you will find the lunch specials. If you are into thai then this is a good place to eat. Bring your friends and bring your family the vibes here are all positive. That is all. Chief When you lead and you have food. Always share your food first.

Basic Thai food. Nothing fancy and not very spicy. But it's flavorful and the service was good. I ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken and my husband cashew chicken. Good but not wow. Overall a nice local place.

Nice 47. Pra-Ram (Peanut Butter) and 34. Pad Prik

Great meal all around. One of the few places that have Shrimp Chips, an underrated accompaniment. They have removed some items from the menu that's currently published, probably due to supply - no chicken satay skewers, for instance. But spring rolls and crab rangoon are available. Spring rolls are run of the mill but I enjoyed the Pra-Ram (mild +) for my entree and my guest enjoyed her Pad Prik (no spice). There were plenty of takeaway orders being picked up and a few people dining in like us. Recommend if you're in the area and are in the mood for a decent Thai meal.

I ordered delivery from this restaurant. It arrived fairly quickly. Phad Thai: noodles was little over cooked. Mostly lots of noodles and not much meat or veggies in it. Also over all , balance of spice, sourness, sweetness weren't very good. Tofu and shrimp wasn't so absorbed the flavor. Green curry: big portion size ,but I would like more coconut milk for thicker soup. Consistency of curry soup was too runny for me. Also I would preferred if chicken was sliced thinly. Pineapple fried rice: Rice cooked perfectly. It tasted fine. For 3 dishes. it costed 60 dollars so over all I think it was be a good deal for family of 4 on Friday night meal! We even got some leftovers.

Servers are very nice, and large portion sizes at the restaurant. Highly recommend the chicken fried rice, but it can be spicy

One waiter running the entire restaurant and one food runner. Ordered chicken fresh roll, crab cheese, tom yum chicken, gai tom ka with chicken, pad Thai with chicken, steamed tofu and veggies, Thai hot, pad prik with chicken and steam tofu, medium+. $76.07 They do charge more for using CC here. :( Their scallop and crab meat are imitation. Scallops as imitation, that's a first. They give you a complimentary salad to start. Dressing is interesting, tastes fishy, maybe some fish sauce to the sauce. It's meh. The crab cheese is good, good flavor, not much crab to them. Wonton is super crunchy. The fresh rolls are good, rather slim, but at least they put a decent slice of chicken breast meat in the roll. The peanut sauce is okay, added some chili to it to give it some flavor and kick. The rolls are good. The Tom Yum is okay, thought there would be more lemongrass flavoring to it. I have heard from 3 pick-up customers that this place is closing. I asked a staffer, they close in two weeks. Building was purchased and they have to move. They are still trying to find a new place to relocate to, yet. The pad Thai was okay. They use the dried chili peppers for the heat. The pad pak was pretty good. Lots of green peppers and onions though. I think there was all of two red peppers in the dish, more would have been good. Service is good.

A quick search brought me to a restaurant that has been part of my town for as long as I can remember; I don't know why I've never been here. It was way past lunch, so the restaurant was empty. Before I was properly settled, a warm soup of tofu and pasta was served to me. Yum. I had the Three's Company: stir-fried shrimp, scallops, imitation crab, and I think, squid. The curry-based meal was served with meaty, chunky mushrooms (yum!), green peppers, bamboo shoots, and onions. As expected, the lunch-sized portion was small. Additionally, I tried a few bites of the duck, fried and served with broccoli spears, carrot slices, and baby corn, all in a brown sauce. Good but pricey. Service was fine.

Trash Food, Trash Service - Stay Away…read more Another so-called "highly rated" Asian restaurant serving up straight garbage. Let me save you the mistake I made. The food? Disgusting. The service? Even worse. I called to report the awful meal I received, and instead of any kind of accountability, the woman I spoke to told me it was my problem. No apology, no solution just pure attitude and blame-shifting. Classy. Let's talk about the food: * Sweet and Sour Chicken: A soggy, inedible mess. The chicken was drowning in sauce, so saturated the breading slid off like wet paper. Ever had meat slide out of mush? Now I have. Absolutely vile. * Crab Rangoon: Not crispy. Not even close. Rubbery, stale, and lazy. Like someone microwaved it and hoped no one would notice. * Egg Roll: Same story rubbery Zero crunch. Zero flavor. Zero effort. * Wonton Soup: Greasy, flavorless broth with gummy, overcooked wontons that tasted like they'd been soaking in hot water for hours. You'd get more taste chewing a napkin. I live less than two miles away, so don't even try to blame the drive. If your food can't survive a 5-minute trip, you shouldn't be in the takeout business. And when I asked to return the meal? I was told to "throw it in the trash" because they weren't offering a refund or credit. The only honest thing they said all night because that's exactly where this food belongs. Do yourself a favor skip this place. The food is trash. The service is trash. The entire experience was a waste of time, money, and appetite. They clearly don't care about quality or customers. Shameful.

The restaurant is charming. I loved the floral décor and cute brass lighting. The menu is varied, offering both the familiar crab rangoon and spring rolls and the less familiar mango avocado salad, coconut noodles, or prew warn. I went with the mango avocado salad and pineapple curry while my friend went with the fried rice and tofu stir-fry. Of course, I also had the Thai iced tea. I don't think I saw any avocados in the salad, at least not the conventional avocado slices, but there was a good amount of crunchy, whole cashews, which I loved. The pineapple curry was fantastic. The flavorful curry had a substantial amount of seafood, shrimp, squid, and scallops. I'm glad I ordered it mild because it was already quite spicy. Incidentally, the rice comes out in fanciful shapes: stars and hearts, which makes me smile. The service was lovely. The server was friendly and professional.

So we wandered over to this Thai restaurant; it had a 4.7-star rating. Sometimes, we are just lucky. Even though it was early evening, the restaurant was still bright from sunlight streaming through the blinds. We were the first guests of the evening; the restaurant remained relatively empty during our visit. This is unfortunate, given the lovely meal we had. We took our time to review both the dinner selection and the specials after ordering the tofu Todd, fried tofu served with chili sauce. There were so many items I would order, crab rangoon, apple salad, all types of noodles, and peanut curry. I typically order Pad Thai, flat rice noodles with tofu, scrambled eggs, bean sprouts, and crushed peanuts. However, as a fan of all things pineapple, I went with the pineapple-curry seafood instead. It was fantastic, full of veggies (red and green bell peppers and onion) and seafood (shrimp, squid, and imitation crab) in a sweet-tasting, creamy sauce. My friend ordered the pad bai kra pow, an amazingly fragrant dish with basil, Thai chili peppers, and shallots, topped with a fried egg. It was served with either minced chicken or pork. I will order this the next time I'm here. Both dishes were served with rice. Service was helpful and professional.
