My current salon lacks in the nail art game, so I wanted to try somewhere new that could accommodate the designs I was looking for. Jessica at The Shore didn't disappoint. Made an appointment online, looked up the manicurist's IG info and then was able to see her past artwork. Everything looked good, so I went in for my appointment. The Shore nail salon is a different building from the main Hair salon. (and parking is quite annoying but that's not on the owners- thats a Wickford Village thing.) The salon is tiny and when I walked in a manicurist was with a customer and said hello but then continued to chat with her client while I just sat down wondering if she was my tech or not (a little odd but no big deal). A few minutes later Jessica arrived and took me over to her area. We talked quickly about what I was looking for and she got right to work. The service was great and I was pleased with the quality! They also offered a complimentary ring cleaning which was a treat because my engagement ring was a little dull and that's why I was getting my nails done anyway- for our engagement dinner that night. All in all, the pricing was right in line for the service, and the technician was nice enough. Will certainly go back in the future to see Jessica for special occasion nails and continue to use my current salon for regular maintenance.
