The rooms are $32 per person (no discounts for children or weekday pricing), and with tax the total price for the three of us was $102.36. David was our game master and did a great job of explaining everything to us before we started and quickly feeding us clues during the game when we asked. We did the Egyptian Tomb: Imhotep's Curse because it felt the most like we were in Indiana Jones. I wish we had known there were actually two rooms, so that I might have budgeted my time better and asked for clues a little sooner. Alas, we did not escape the room(s), but it was still a great experience and it was all very well designed. I think we are all itching to come back for redemption, so we'll definitely return and give one of the other rooms a shot.

We were told we wouldn't need to bend down for clues, but important items were hidden low under furniture. Several puzzles didn't connect well, some clues/items were never even used and certain props seemed broken or weren't working correctly. The biggest issue was how hard it was to get help. We repeatedly raised our hands asking for hints or clarification and would wait several minutes with no response. At one point we genuinely thought something in the room was broken and couldn't get anyone to answer us. There was also a super dark section where we couldn't even read what was on the walls, and again, staff barely responded when we asked for help and use our flashlight. What's disappointing is that I previously had good experiences here, but this visit felt really disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish. Our group was setup with the room was closely matched the experience in our group. The tasks involved might have been a little much for the three person group I was in, I'd say a group of four to six is probably best for escaping without help and on time. David informed us of new rooms in progress, including an adult themed crime scene room in the works. There is also a hatchet throwing setup available which I didn't partake in. The costs are fair for the rooms they have. I'd surely be up for another escape (or failure) soon.

Because of the interest of my friends mainly, I was curious to see the differences between Blind Tiger Speakeasy here and the one in OBX escape rooms. The setup and price here is much better. I don't remember all the nuances, but I know the modifications done with KOP are much better. The beginning puzzle, they let you solve it intuitively in parts rather than expect the entire combination to be correct. This helps with playability and the fun factor. They have wonderful employees that work here. Jaden was no exception! I did catch on to some clues faster because even though I didn't remember exactly what I did with my group at the OBX one, I did have a faint inkling. At the OBX one, we didn't solve it but had help from a guide in the room as I was only in a group of 3, the room there required a minimum of 4, and we had to pick rooms that could serve physical accommodations there. I'm still "waiting" for some escape room in the general area to do escape the 90s. The closest one from my area right now seems to be Rochester, which is too far. I do pass by that way once in awhile, but being only one person makes it tough. . .

We all signed our waivers and then were guided back behind the curtain to enter our room. The design was great. You really felt like you were in a bar and there was a lot of detail to the decor. We had a little trouble figuring out where to start but we were able to just ask our game master for a clue when needed. It is such a fun, hands on experience. The puzzles were fun. I enjoyed the variety and that it wasn't just figuring out combinations to locks. Unfortunately we didn't escape in time, but just a few more minutes and we would have had it. The four of us all had a great time and though. This was my first experience so I didn't have a lot to compare it to. However it was great and definitely made us fans of escape rooms. We have done one other since and definitely preferred the experience here
