I was confused and worried that impropriety's were procedural proceeding factors with the unexpected and sudden decision by the Labor Commissioners Office to remove their jurisdiction at their discretion after almost a year of just waiting for there to be a set hearing date to prove my case. While It seemed odd and a clear violation of my rights and the provision within its statutes that I'm entitled to by the law of land. Although I still can't explain how you figure that the meaning to the letter I received from the Labor Commissioners Office stating its decision to "Removal its Jurisdiction" and not resolve my open wage claim is really and I quote, "It's just a Right To Sue Letter." Although I though only the DFEH can produce a Right to Sue letter I admit it sounds better then the sound of being told my rights were just straight out violated. I did feel much better after being made aware of that information and now I am set to further pursue the matter if things go accordingly as planned with the potential possibilities to retain the service this upcoming week in a meeting scheduled to discussing the facts and what transpired the Labor Commissioners undergoing process. One more question, Do I still have the right to file a Freedom of Information Act. request for a copy of my retaliation investigations case file even though the deputy that handled the investigation into the complaint I filed petition for a restraining order against me that was granted at its hearing and it was also at that hearing where I was informed or served as the judge said about the Labor Commissioners sudden change of heart and removal of jurisdiction to adjudicate me wage claim? read more

I have a cleaning business and a employee who was never showing up to jobs had to get let go. A few months later they served me with a lawsuit saying that I never paid them and fired them the wrong way. The lawyer they got was demanding tens of thousands of dollars. Long story short not only would that completely destroy my business and send me back to a normal job but the demand amount and her reasons were completely fabricated and made up! I hired a licensed contractor to build a guest house (ADU) in my back yard, who tried to overcharge me for many things he supposed to do per contract. He refused connecting gas/electricity/waste/water pipes from ADU to the main house and asked me to pay more for him/or another constructor to do it.
