Been using ntb for 4 yrs for 3 vehicles, but loosing faith. Shop manager good & friendly, store manager unfriendly and incompetent-but last day of employment...hopefully new manager repairs costumer relations. Oil changes take minimum of 1 hr, and almost always forget to top off washer fluid...but open till 7 (that is convenient). Watch for hidden charges (like tire rotation fee during oil change when tires purchased in store) and shop hand laziness-check everything in place before leaving...large turnarounds, and it shows at times. Absolutely horrible customer service. I called ordered tires, had a conversation with the person who ordered tires Explaining that my rear pressure sensors were out but I had a set to replace them. He said to bring them and they would install them while putting tires on. I take off work to go get them put on and the woman that was in charge said they will not use my parts per "company policy". I called NTB on site and they said we have no such policy and she spoke to the woman in person and she still continued to argue and gripe about it. I will never come back to this place again. We had a brake emergency coming from WA state on a roadtrip and didn't think we'd find anyone willing to help at 3pm. not only did they take us right away but they also stayed late to help us! the entire staff was friendly and welcoming even with 4 rowdy boys in their waiting room for hours. if I ever find myself back in Longview needing service, I'd go there first. thanks again for all of your help! read more

They advertise a good price for oil change, but use it as opportunity to get you in the door. They took an inexpensive oil change set up online and turned it into a 4times more expensive experience for my daughter. She wanted to take care of her car so she went in. She is young and doesn't have much experience with car care services. They acted as if she really needed all these extra things done. She didn't know but trusted them. Beware, they pry upon the inexperienced. Probably why the shop doesn't seem very busy. Of course they say fill out a nameless form online and we will reach out to you there. Still haven't heard anything but sorry. They don't want anyone the excuses and sweet talk trying to get me to say it is okay with how they take advantage of the inexperienced. They ask questions to help the inexperienced get the best service possible. And the real goal is to run the bill up as high as possible. We care is why we ask about additional services. Why didn't you say how much it would cost when you offered additional services to my young inexperienced daughter? I'm sure we would have if asked. Again it goes back to trust. Soooooo I called earlier today to set up a appointment for a oil change and when I made it to the NTB location in Longview Tx I was not greeted all I received from the employees were blank stares so I backed my car up and decided to go inside. When I went inside the same exact thing occurred I never felt so disrespected in my life I took my business elsewhere. It would've been okay if someone would've said "hey give me a moment please" but no one was doing anything they were just standing around talking. The NTB guys have not only taken excellent care of my car but also my elderly parent's vehicle, which I need to safely transport them to doctor's appointments. I recently had to replace their car for a newer model and the NTB guys made sure the car I chose was in good shape before I bought it. Today, I took my car for at oil change at 8:15am. Car was ready at 9:30am. No one came to me with ANY updates, filter status, needs, nothing. No service discussion. Very uncaring staff. Seems I was just a number. Get in get out. That is not service. You get better treatment at Wmart. Unfriendly and so is the manager. Of course, the staff had no problem chatting among themselves. Very different from my last trip in for tires. Will not choose to spent my money there and would not recommend this establishment. Lastly, a customer came in while I was there who just had an oil change and he said they forgot to put his oil cap back on and it sprayed oil all over his engine. I made an online appointment at 10:30 AM on 12/14 for 1 PM. When I arrived the screen showed my appointment to be 7PM but that was just the beginning. I was "waited on" by someone from the shop, no name badge and now I know why. I told him I had a 1 PM appointment for an oil change and pointed out that the over head screen was incorrect. He then told me that "appointments mean nothing at this location and he would see if they could work me in". He disappeared back in the shop and the other CSR told me that appointments take priority. When he returned he stated again that appointments meant nothing but they could work me in. I understand the cost of customer acquisition an customer retention but this guy had no clue! It was obvious that he did not want to service my car so I made his dream come true! I refuse to do business with a company that can't train they employees how to treat customers. I will spend my time and $$ where people at least act like they care. read more

This is the worst tire store in Longview m, Tx. When you show up 1hr. 45 min. before they close to get your tires rotated and the man tells you he can't get to it today. This persons excuse was that he was to busy but they only had 1 person in the waiting room and no cars in the parking lot. The only bad thing about this whole situation is when I bought the tires I bought the warranty with them. I will never buy another set of tires from them again Discount Tire will get all of my business from now on since I called them and explained the whole situation and they told me to come on in and they would rotate them even if they have to stay after closing to get to. read more

Unbelievable! Needed a simple side to side tire rotation on my Mustang GT. When calling in the A.M. a service rep indicated they were really busy at the moment and suggested I schedule it for 2:00 that afternoon. No problem from my point of view. So we scheduled it. He asked for my name and number. I went to the shop about 20 minutes early to provide them flexibility on the front side of the appointment. Walked in, told the gentleman behind the counter of my appointment. Just then a female service rep came around the corner and he passed me off to her. He indicated to her that I needed a rotation. She literally scoffed at the notion and said she wouldn't be able to get to it for at least 45 minutes and asked if that was okay. I indicated I had a 2:00 appointment. When she looked in the computer she said there was nothing in there. At that point I indicated that Is why I had gotten the appointment - so that they could fit it in. She asked "online?" and I said no, called in and spoke to someone named John to which she indicated the gentleman at the counter who passed me off to her. I'm literally 6 days new to Longview and am saddened by what I thought was going to be better customer service attitudes than my last location. Her scoffing at me when learning of my requirement and the subsequent lack of desire to make it right - is just wrong. I won't be back to this business and am hoping the rest of East Texas has a better level of customer service. read more

Worst bunch of people I've dealt with I bought brand new set of tires also got the road hazard on them because I asked ever question I could sounded like a deal to good to be true right right then I get told after getting a flat fixed about the road hazard he said even if you have a crazy ex slash your tires we will replace for FREE I'll say it again FREE well that was a lie yesterday I wake up rim on the ground tie flat just had it fixed had to miss work because they couldn't get a tire until 11 even tho I was told 9:30 it'll be out the door so get the tire then they tell me owe 139.74 proration not one time was I told then I believe his name was Adam told me to read the fine print no sir you as a sale rep should have brought that up to my attention before anything needless to say I will never step foot in there again worst bunch of folks to deal with now I'm sitting in southern tire mart getting a full set of tires highly recommend southern tie mat I've had work done on my truck here before awesome service awesome techs read more

Upon picking up her car she was missing the center cap on her drivers front wheel. All four were on the car when it was dropped off. Only three were there when we picked up the car. When I first walked into NTB to look at tires, liked the look, and very friendly staff. I needed some tire for an antique car, they ordered them, put them on, all good. When my son and mother in law needed tires I sent them there, all good. The problem purchase was made Nov 2016 on a Ford F250 Truck. I needed new tires. Gave me tire options for my truck, and found a set of BF Goodrich on sale that they would have to order, but seemed like a good deal. I always buy good ties and go with a good recognized brand. I ask them to ordered them and made arrangements to have new breaks, alignment, and new shocks put on the truck. Wanted things to be done right. After picking up the truck I thought there was more road noise than I had expected, but thought it was the new tires, and had nothing to judge it by since work was done all at the same time. Over the next few months, the noise became louder, then after about 5000 miles on the tire one of the tires was obvious defective as the truck began to vibrate at low speeds. I took it back and It was explained to me that the belt had separated, and tire was truly defective. I also found out that the tires sold to me had NO MANUFACTURES WARRANTY AGAINST MANUFACTURE DEFECTS. I explained the had I known that, I would not have even bought them, and even the receipt said the tires were under warranty. Exclusions include commercial use, and my truck is not used for any commercial purpose, so they should be under warrant, right? Wrong. I explained that as well, to no avail. I asked if the tires were safe as I had to travel on this truck, and they explained that I could have a blowout on my front left tire at any time and suggested new tires, however, they had none of what I bought in stock. Consequently, I bought a new set of tires out of fear that what I was driving was unsafe, and told them I would return to discuss this matter. I returned a few weeks later, and asked to speak with the manager, they led me to Rex Bell. I explained my situation and not only was he unhelpful, but rude, and made it clear that I was simply a bothering him. He explained that the most they could do was possibly replace the defective tire, but it would have to be on the rim and he would need to test it to see if it was truly defective. I told him that his employees were the ones that identified the belt separation, but he did not care. When they put on the second set of ties, I did notice the road noise was still there. Took my truck to a front in specialist who said the bearings were installed wrong as well, so had to have them fixed AGAIN, thus adding to my frustration. Between the tires and service work I have been out maybe 1000.00 for doing business with dishonest people, who I can truly say do not care about their customer in any way. Do not not go there, avoid, tell friends, post bogs, whatever, just do not go there and hope that their business practices alone will get them shut down and out of business at this location. read more
