The young baker is so sweet and man he has skills!!! We try new things every time. We love the empanadas, conchas, flan, carrot cake, tiramisu, and enchiladas so far. I love that it's an open kitchen so you can watch him bake and the smells are fantastic!!! We go at least once a week to get treats from here.

    Carrot cake, and flan

Highly recommend this local bakery! The carrot cake is sweet with bits of carrots and pecan inside, and most importantly it's moist! If you're craving something sweet try the carrot cake. Now the flan, texture is creamy like it should be and I love that it's spongy on the bottom it's not overly sweet but that's how I love my flan. I say it's perfect. As soon as you open the door you can smell the bread, see the kitchen and the desserts. They greet you instantly and help out with any questions. The place, food, and service were great! I can't recommend a better place than Nuño's Bakery

    Carrot cake

Made a quick stop, wasn't sure what to get. They had pan dulce with a twist, pumpkin spice and some other flavors. Tamales & champurrado as well. Decided to go for the carrot cake. I left it out for a bit so the cream cheese topping can get soft. Pretty good, will definitely go back. $5.25 for a decent size.

Someone told us to check out Havanazucar; and I'm glad we did. We got there when they first openedEd at 11am so everything was friesh, hot and delicious. They were serving bottom-less mimosas and let me tell you something; I haven't seen my wife smile this much since we got married . The staff is friendly, attentive and kept the mimosas flowing. It's a great spot whether you are riding solo or you are with your family. Will definitely be a staple spot when we are in the mood for Cuban food.

Pastrami sandwich with fries and an unsweetened iced tea First, the customer service at this small spot was great. Even though we ordered to go the cashier brought our drinks and food right to our table. Both sandwiches were top notch and muy delicioso. Cubano sandwich was filled with smoked grilled ham, Juicy roasted pork, cheese, pickles and pressed. It was served with the most amazing garlic aioli. I opted for the banana chips that were light and crispy and a perfect accompaniment to the sandwich. We also ordered a pastrami sandwich with fries. The fries were well seasoned and thin. Pastrami was so delicious however my only gripe is that it needed a touch more mustard. I shared some of my garlic aioli with my partner but hogged the rest for my other half of sandwich. Sandwiches were cooked to order, hot and fresh. The bread was soft with a slight crunch due to it being pressed. It was a very nice change from the usual burger or fried chicken fast food. We can't wait to go back !!

You can squeeze lemon or lime in the cocktail or add hot sauce. Three fresh oysters were included. I love those but they could have been colder. Served with a beautifully ripe avocado on top and professionally cut cucumber, onion and cilantro, Yum!! The shrimp were good size and good texture (not mushy). My friend ordered cheese enchiladas. She orders them without sauce but the cook did a great job preparing them and she said they were perfect. The enchiladas came with beans and rice and we ordered salads that were extra. It was all tasty with fresh lettuce and good salad dressing (we had italian and ranch). Service was so so. We were there midday and it seems many restaurants are this way at this time of day. Not sure if it's because they send servers home and there are not as many to wait on customers or they have side duties that take them away from serving, but it's typical and frustrating. I will say the first bus boy was not good seemed very unhappy and never smiled but then a second bus boy showed up and he was smiling, helpful, friendly and saved the day!!

My eldest daughter and I came here to pick up some items for my team lunch event the next day. Huge market space with bright lights and wide aisles which I love. I don't have to worry about squeezing through the aisles. Very clean and shelves were well stocked. Lots of different varieties and brands. La Cocina (The Kitchen) and La Panaderia (The Bakery) were both closed at the time. I'll have to return to try their freshly made savory foods and sweet baked goods. Bought some veggies, jackfruit, tortillas, chips, shrimp + fish ceviche, and a few other items. Prices were very reasonable. Staff was pleasant. Check-out was quick. We will be back to shop for more. Thanks Vallarta!

And a half liter of Mexican Coca-Cola in the bottle. The food was packed very well and secure in a plastic cling wrap. I ended up with two chicharrones tacos and no pastor. The chicharrones were okay but a bit overcooked and dry. I was looking for a more chewier texture. I had to put both their red and green salsas on the meat to soften the texture. Carnitas were decent, solidly in the satisfactory category. They were tender and tasted fine, not exceptional but good enough. The hand made tortillas were a plus as they held up with the good portion size of meat. The Coca-Cola was refreshing as usual. Price point value was just okay with the DoorDash related menu increases. I probably will not return as there are so many places up here to try that serve basically the same menu items.

I think I'm gonna stop listening to IG influencers on where I should eat. I do better job just…read morelooking it up and doing research through Google another areas or word-of-mouth so I tried this place because of course I saw some influencers on IG you talk about how great the Carnitas were in the Chicharron. I will pass on this place. The first thing is there's no prices when you walk in I don't know what Mexican food place has ever done that you're not going to a Michelin star restaurant where you're thinking wow who cares about the price? I felt really uncomfortable having to ask the cashier every time. Well, what's the price on that and what's the price on this? That is not a very professional or even inviting environment. Some families don't have money like that they want to go out to eat they shouldn't have to guess what the price is secondly, they offer no free water even though they have a dining area you have to pay for water bottles and coke in a can because they don't offer a fountain drink area. Which is not too uncommon when it comes to sodas, but definitely not offering a iced tea or anything of that nature not good. Let's move onto the food unfortunately Bland the Menudo as you see in the picture, I never took another bite after the meat was soggy the broth was terrible hard path when it comes to the gordita same thing that beans were dry. The rice was dry as well. The Chicharron was off on flavor so bad I don't like using table salt I think it's a cheap salt, but unfortunately I had to because that's how bad they lacked flavor. Do they offer chips and salsa? No, they do not. You can pay for Old hard chips and they give you hot sauce sauces not salsa then we ordered the burrito again. It looked like it was a day old. We also ordered tacos. The tacos were the only thing that weren't half bad. How can you mess up on tacos? Believe me there's some spots that do for what we paid in the price over $65 I will never be coming back here I would say give it a try, but until they upgrade do better on showing prices there's no way they deserve to have any type of customers. Sorry, I I rarely to never say that, but I would never want someone to feel as uncomfortable as I did ordering food to be met with underwhelming not taste full food.
