They quickly diagnosed the problem, did some digging, and confirmed the problem before they started doing the job. I had a major leak in my freshwater line to the house. The repair quote was a lot (although certainly reasonable), but fortunately, I had insurance to cover the sewer and the freshwater and gas lines. If you don't have this, you'd be crazy not to get it. It's cheap, and it saved me $5250. The team from Zoom went to work quickly. This was a several-day job over the weekend, but they still got it done. They also unclogged and outgoing internal line to the sewer. The crew was professional and very effective. Robert, the supervisor, was checking on the job frequently, and he talked to me a lot about what was going on and how the job was taking place. I felt fully informed as the job is progressing. My insurance company took a little too long to pay for it, but Robert was notably patient. Hopefully, your insurance company will pay faster. The job was done extremely well, we had only a minimum of inconvenience (although we had to leave the water off unless we used it, since it would fill the trench they had dug). In summary, Zoom did a great job. They were all professional, focused, very timely, and responsive. I feel fortunate to have found a new plumbing company that I can use with confidence. Having your waterline go out is no fun, but the guys from Zoom handled it quickly, professionally, and effectively. I have no hesitation in recommending Zoom Drain for any type of plumbing needs, and if you need a sewer line, freshwater line, or a gas line repaired anywhere in the Plano/North Dallas area (or further if they service other areas), these are the guys to call.

They advised us to go back to Reliant since the work should have been covered under warranty. Over the next few months, Reliant scheduled multiple appointments - and every single time we were left sitting at home for hours with no calls, no updates, and no one ever showing up. My husband and I took off work multiple times, moved nap schedules around for our kids, rearranged our entire day - only to find out about cancellations after we called them ourselves. Most recently, we were told Dallas "isn't a priority market," which explains the constant no-shows and excuses. Reliant's lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism has been staggering. We've spent thousands, lost countless hours, and months later still don't have a fully functioning bathroom. Our experience with them from first phone call to end project was positive. I called and spoke with Amber. I explained our guest bathroom leaky toilet problem. Amber was professional and friendly. She explained there was an upfront $89 charge for a service technician to come out. The service technician would evaluate and let us know the total cost up front. I agreed the charge was acceptable and made an appointment for a service technician to come out to our home. The morning of the appointment Amber called to let us know Rocky Johnson (Service Technician) with 27 years of experience was on his way. Also received a text & email with Rocky's picture. Rocky arrived on time and was professional and friendly. He assessed the problem and explained what was needed. He was very detailed and patient with our questions before we agreed on the service. Shower cartridge (located behind the shower handle) was bad so I called them to come out and they…read moresaid there was a service call charge of $67.50 which would not be charged if they did any work. So they sent a guy out and they charged a whopping $272 plus tax just to replace a simple plastic shower cartridge that probably took about 15 minutes to replace. They also replaced a cheap small plastic handle that I did not ask them to replace. Charges breakdown: $125.00 - Labor $80.00 - Parts (for a plastic cartridge that cost $31 at Home Depot) $67.50 - Other charges (added in the service call charge). So I was not supposed to be charged the service call charge; however they added it in & when paid them by credit card I had not seen the breakdown yet. Made numerous phone calls and kept getting promises that they would reimburse me for the service call charge but they kept stringing me along and wouldn't send it. Guess they got tired of me calling and did eventually send it but it cost me a lot of time and frustration. To top it off, about six months later the cartridge they installed went bad and had to hire another plumber to come out and replace the one Enco had installed. But they contacted the manufacturer and found out that it was. While they waited for the new factory part to arrive, they temporarily installed a used part so I'd have hot water right away. When the new factory part came in a few days later, they called and made an appointment to install it. Again, they showed up on time as promised. I've had no problems with my hot water heater since. The guys that showed up were very nice and professional.
