I've used this company many times before and have been happy . I had a toilet that the top black…read morepiece was spewing small amounts of water and you could hear it. The part was maybe 20 bucks. The plumber replace the line too ( not necessary) and was there 30 minutes and my bill was 400. The toilet now flushes very loudly. I understand we all need to make money but I feel as though I was taken advantage of. This should have been a less than 200 job. Another plumber same company came out to check his work because it flushes so loud now it's actually worse than the initial problem. For 400 I should be happy and I'm not. I will not use them again. Very disappointed. I do want to say that Eugene is my favorite plumber, but he is not the one that did the work. I was definitely overcharged for the work that was done.

I called AAA Auger Plumbing because they were on a list of approved contractors for my Downtown…read moreDallas mid-rise condo. I needed two new toilets installed and my water heater flushed. David, a Master Plumber, came to my condo to give me a quote. He then came back the next day with an apprentice to install the toilet and flush the water heater. David answered all of my questions. He and his apprentice installed the toilets. The job was an A+. Here are some of the details: * Plumbing is a high-stakes job in a mid-rise condo such as mine. One leak could destroy multiple floors beneath. * My HOA requires proof of insurance that covers multi-family. AAA Auger had that proof, which is how they got on our approved list of contractors. * David has 40 years of plumbing experience, so he was well prepared to manage the complexities of working in my mid-rise condo. * AAA Auger sent a text message before the visit with a picture of David and his bio. I think that's a nice way to introduce a technician before they arrive. * David easily found the building and parked in the loading dock. I didn't have to call him once before he arrived. What a relief - sometimes this can be hard to explain how to get here. * Along with the new toilets, I purchased an artificial wax ring and some new hoses. David evaluated those, but given the placement of the toilets against the tile, recommended a different wax ring and different hoses. He had the recommended products in his truck. I trusted his judgment and went with his products. * After installing the toilets, David flushed my water heater. * I've gotten my water heater flushed by other plumbers each year for the past three years. Each time, it takes the plumber only 15 minutes. David took 30+ minutes to drain the water heater. I asked why, and he showed me that's how long it *actually* takes to drain all the way. In other words, the previous plumbers were cutting corners and not draining the water heater all the way. * After flushing the water heater, David checked the toilets and found a few drips under the new hoses. He discovered the hoses had a manufacturing defect and replaced the hoses again during the same visit. HIS PROACTIVE APPROACH SAVED ME FROM HAVING TO CALL HIM OUT AGAIN. * The next day, the dispatcher from AAA Auger called me to follow up and see if I had any questions. I told them everything was perfect. * I'm writing this review a week after my service call, and the toilets are working perfectly. There's no leaks on the hoses. The water heater is performing well. * I'm very happy with the service I received from AAA Auger. I would recommend them. * 1 big thing - I paid a pretty penny for the service. It was worth it because of the quality of the install, the experience of the plumber, and the insurance they carry that's compatible with my HOA requirements. * 1 more way to look at the cost: I don't expect to call a plumber to service the toilets for another 10 years. So, the way I look at the price I paid today is to divide the price by 10 - that's how much per year the job cost me.

Same Day Water Heater was Home Depot's authorized service provider in McKinney for the natural gas…read morewater heater we needed. Same Day was the 2nd bid. In fact, the other bid was about $600 cheaper, but wasn't planning to pull a permit until I asked about it being included in his bid. Same Day sent Seth, who was fantastic, answering all my questions in a knowledgeable and professional manner. All the pricing was above board. Without my asking, Seth stated part of the price included pulling a permit. Seth also indicated optional verse required parts, like a second shut off valve. He knew his product and installed it in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend Seth if you're looking to replace your water heater.

I have asked for a quote on 6/26/2026 for my home water heater replacement from "Same Day Water…read moreHeaters." Home Depot introduced "Same Day Water Heaters" for the replacement of my home water heater. The plumber from "Same Day Water Heaters" claimed that a "flood stop shut-off valve (or flood stop)" ($379) is a mandate of the city of Southlake (see the quote photo from Same Day Water Heaters). I even very nicely asked whether installing the water heater without a "flood stop shut-off valve" is possible. The plumber insisted that he CANNOT proceed without installing the flood stop valve, as the city mandates the flood stop valve. I eventually found that the "flood stop shut-off valve" is not mandatory in the city of Southlake (see the photo from the city of Southlake). There were some more wrong rip-off quotes. You can find many of these rip-off quotes made by "Same Day Water Heaters" in the BBB, where the plumber even tried to rip you off by charging $24.48 (Home Depot, as of 7/1/2026) for a water heater pan as $84. The plumber from "Same Day Water Heaters" is the worst liar even I have encountered. There are better plumbers out there, and one of them installed the water heater for about $700 less money than the quote by "Same Day Water Heaters." Please be aware of "Same Day Water Heaters" for your home water heater installation.
