I LOVE NUBIANI!!! this location is actually nicer than the ktown location probably cuz it's less busy in the area and newer but i liked it better here! the seating and lighting feels luxe and upscale. beef small package is a perfect amount of food for 3. the meat is perfect they cook it for you and they cook it to perfection each of the meats was juicy and not too tough. my favorite was probably the seasoned short rib it was perfectly seasoned a little sweet and salty soo yummy the beef small package comes with a complementary stew, banchan, and steamed egg. the stew is too salty no matter which one you get. probably the worst part of the meal imo. the banchan is super standard but the yam side dish was particularly delicious it was sweet and creamy it kinda felt like a dessert. everything was super fresh. the steamed egg was super bouncy and cooked perfectly like look at the dome in the photo. at the end of the meal we got a complimentary soft serve which was just a vanilla soft serve with preserved yuzu. i think this combo is great the ice cream was super creamy and the yuzu was sweet and sour so goooddd. great service as always they take care of you from start to finish. better than cote imo (and more affordable!) nubiani deserves the michelin star over them :p

Big fan of the ktown location and I'm so excited that they have one on 58th Street. It's two floors and has a lot of seating. I still recommend making a reservation as it's popular. I got the pork set for 2 and added on every other pork cut that wasn't included so we would have enough to feed 4 people. The pork is just as good as the beef. Our favorite was the marinated pork, which was extremely tender and packed full of flavor. We also got the hamachi tartare, which was so good and fun to make handrolls with. The banchan continues to be fire and I love how they provide my favorite banchan -- the steamed egg-- every meat dish goes so well with their scallion salad. Bring cash for that cash discount!

It was the perfect place for someone trying Korean food for the first time; away from the crowds of K-Town, with excellent-quality meats, delicious side dishes, and an atmosphere that actually lets you carry on a conversation. My friend from Lithuania absolutely devoured everything. The meal was phenomenal; juicy, tender, sweet, tangy, and filled with those uniquely Korean flavors that are hard to describe but impossible to forget. All around, it was a fantastic experience. Give it a try.

Came here after hearing that it was the best kbbq experience that my friends have ever had and I definitely agree. The restaurant interior is very sleek, and everything about it was luxurious from the dim lighting to the marble tables. The service was super friendly and attentive to our table, even though it was a more secluded booth. The server ran us through the menu and gave us recommendations, and we went with the Nubiani package, which included all of their popular meats, including: Beef Rib Eye, Beef Rib Finger, Beef Boneless Short Ribs, Pork Belly, and Pork Seasoned Shoulder Butt. It also came with mushrooms, squash, and serrano peppers to cook on the grill. We also got 6 different side dishes, which were all delicious. I especially loved the tomato with basil and sesame sauce. I had never had this flavor combination and it was so good I got two more refills. I also liked how fresh the kimchi was and the steamed egg was perfectly fluffy and seasoned. All the meats were perfectly cooked by the waitress and she even cut up the meat for us as she presented each one. The meat was extremely tender and the grilled vegetables really leveled up the meal for me. They also had a complimentary dessert at the end which was a vanilla soft serve with orange marmalade and it was divine. This meal was one of the best that I've had in NYC and though the priced were steep I think the experience was worth every cent.

The dinning experience at Nubiani is an easy one to rate. Firstly, when you make a reservation, be sure to check the location. There are two different locations so be sure to reserve the one you want to dine in. We made a reservation via Resy and was lucky enough to get table within a few hours. Food was really delicious. We ordered the Beef & Pork combo and just as expected in a proper Korean BBQ restaurant, the table was quickly filled with banchans (small side dishes) enough to get us truly full. Quality of the meat felt very fresh, the servers were really gracious to get the meat temperature exactly the way we requested. Appreciate the layout as we were able to have some privacy in the booth we sat in. Modern Korean KBBQ seems to be the theme.

Came here with friends and we ordered the Nubiani package which is a combination of beef and pork. The quality of their meats is always so good and for 3 people it was a lot of food. We also ordered the cold buckwheat noodle dish on the side as well and it was definitely a lot of food. At the end they also give you a soft serve and it's so good. The staff cook the meat for you and also make sure to plate the meat so it doesn't overcook on the grill. The pacing can feel a little fast though because they do make sure you leave in time for their next reservation. It's definitely is a busy place even though the midtown location is much bigger. The ambiance is nice though since it's a newer location and it's really clean and spacious

Nubiani will always be my #1 kbbq spot in my. and this spot hits just the same as the ktown location, but in a much larger and nicer space. We got the hamachi crudo, large beef set, and pork jowl for a group of 6 and it was the perfect amount of food. The meat is so tender and I love all the banchan. The service is also excellent! The servers are constantly refilling your banchan throughout the duration of the meal. It was my first time trying the hamachi crudo and it was also extremely delicious, with nice textures and flavors.

literally no misses! my best kbbq experience so far. the small set was enough to feed 3 but we did also get some cold noodles, that is before we realized they give you free ice cream with tangerine puree for dessert! all the meat was super tender and juicy, likely also bc the staff cook everything for you and they def know what they're doing. short ribs fave but all were solid. however, i think the mvp was the refillable banchans, special shoutout to steamed egg and sweet potato puree!! kimchi stew was just aight for me also 10% cash discount! if you're looking for an upscale kbbq spot in nyc, i think this was more worth than cote and also less stressful to get a res for

Omg Nubiani was so good. Every bite of meat was delicious. I wish I got more. All the banchan was also delicious. The seafood pancake was also delicious (and huge). Sensing a pattern? Yes because everything was delicious. This location is a little out of the way (a good walk from the subway) but it's HUGE. It's two floors and you just keep walking and walking. Enjoyed the ambience as well.

Had such a great experience at Nubiani! Food was really fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered was delicious and the quality of the food definitely stood out. On top of that, the service was excellent. Our servers were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal without being overbearing. The whole experience felt welcoming and enjoyable from start to finish. Definitely a great spot for good food and great service - would absolutely come back!

One thing Nubiani has over other KBBQ spots is the quality of meat. It is more expensive, but it is worth it! The banchan is of course complimentary and you can always ask for more. The steamed egg is also complimentary, so we had two of those. The server comes and cooks the food for you so you don't have to do much. I will definitely be back when I want my KBBQ fix!

    Constance L.

One of the best KBBQ experiences I've had. The ambiance is stunning, the service attentive, and the food just absolutely perfect. The attention to detail to the decor throughout the store, the lovely moody lighting, the fact that they cook the meats far enough away that the smoke doesn't seep into your hair and clothes -- such an elevated experience! The food itself was all perfect. From the fresh, tangy banchan to the expertly cooked beef, to the fluffy and delicate steamed egg, the whole dinner from start to finish was fantastic. Can't wait to come again.

The staff was very nice. The meats and cuts was very fresh and delicious. The decor is very modern. For Korean bbq it is definitely on the high end side and that means high end prices. They do have a Michelin star to back it up. The ban chan was also very good. One great perk is leaving and not feeling like I smell of bbq.

In a…read morelittle under a year, I have been to this spot uncoincidentally twice through passing- The street is bustling with enticing cuisine and merging sense of palette confusion. This STICKS OUT. It is French, it offers a sunlit outdoor patio and rests on New York cobblestone. Only the finest. We ordered their 30 dollar happy hour wine selection (their choice of white, rose or red). We went for rose as it was only approaching cocktail hour. Ended up spending $60, do your own math! As for food, this was where I had a blonde moment. The French wordings of cheese or meat was simply something I haven't even seen in France. So what to do? Tell our server we love rich goudas, goat cheeses and manchego's; but stray from any blue cheese family member or associate. He brought an array of an assortment! I do not recall the names of their cheese, two we liked one we did not appreciate. The unappreciated cheese was a reminder to my deep hatred for blue cheese and utter regret for even bringing it up to our server. TOO MUCH BREAD. Not because I am a model, but because I believe in proportion sizings, especially when it comes to the delicacies within the cheese world I aspire to be apart of. NO MORE BREAD PLEASE, I begged as I calm and swiftly maneuvered the slices into my concerned and judged mouth. We also enjoyed the escargot, 10/10. Get the escargot and wine babes xxx

Lo and behold, she did have a table for us - as long as we were out in an hour and a half, which was just the right amount of time. Stepping into this place feels like you're in some secret, super special cocktail club. Decor is super high end, vibes are upscale AF. The cocktail menu is incredible -- and incredibly pricey, but truly worth it. I ordered the Valentino which was strong and sweet, really well made. They gave out a complimentary nut mix that was also delicious. Service was swift and gracious. If you're looking for a spot to impress a date, this is it.

The mint Moroccan tea gave the drink a cool, refreshing taste on every sip. I also tried the Silver Screen, the closest drink I could find to an old fashioned. It was interesting, there was definitely a hint of a buttery taste. Overall a really balanced bourbon drink. I walked in and found room at the standing tables. Did you know this is where the Beecher's used to be?! RIP, I miss their Mac n cheese.... the vibe is completely different now (think extravagant Mediterranean vibes, it's very instagram-mable with the beautiful bar area). I had made a reservation for 5:30 (again, life with a baby is very different)- we arrived early but the staff were very gracious and were able to get us seated. They seated us in a side alcove area where they had cushioned seating, which was very helpful. What we Ordered: Drinks: Barlume Spritz and Hibiscus Mule (N/A cocktail)- drinks were good, nothing too special but we appreciated the cute stirrers Appetizer: Halloumi- grilled halloumi with roasted eggplant puree. The saltiness of the halloumi went so well with the creaminess of the eggplant. (Baby liked the eggplant puree too hah) Entrees: Lobster Arrabiatta and Duck Ragu and Truffle Pizza. My husband got the lobster arrabiatta and was raving about how delicious it was. He said it was the perfect level of spice. My duck ragu was served with busiate (a corkscrew shaped pasta) which I thought 'trapped' the sauce perfectly so you get a nice saucy bite each time. Pasta was perfectly al dente- my one gripe is that I felt the duck ragu was a bit too salty, which even managed to overpower the tomato flavor. We shared the truffle pizza, which came topped off with stracciatella, porcini mushrooms and shaved truffles. I liked the porcini mushrooms on the pizza, this was a first for me. For dessert (which we had to gobble down quickly because baby was starting to get fussy) we got the pistachio cake. SAVE SPACE IN YOUR STOMACH FOR THIS ONE!!! This was my favorite in the whole meal, the kataifi gives it that wonderful crumbliness and it went soooo well with the mango sorbet that's served with it. The prices are definitely a little inflated but for some reason I feel like the prices at most Flatiron places of this caliber are set similarly so I suppose it is ~locally~ normative. In any case, it fits the vibe of the area well and it is suitable for pretty much any occasion so it's versatile too. We came here at 8:15 as a party of four on a Saturday night. Though it wasn't too hard to get a reservation, the place was completely full. That said, it's a relatively big space so they have plenty of tables to accommodate parties of many different sizes. The decor is fresh and refined, lots of greenery which is the move these days. Though it's a white tablecloth situation the vibe is not pretentious or buttoned up, it's lively and fun just in a sophisticated way. Cocktails and wine options aplenty here, with quite a few cocktail options featuring Greek/Mediterranean ingredients (mastiha, I'm looking at you) which I very much appreciated. A few folks started with the "I Speak For The Trees" (Spring 44 Vodka, Cucumber, Mastiha) cocktail and in doing so tried mastiha for the first time. I, not surprisingly, had to try the martini, which is the Fantasy Is A Necessary Ingredient (Dill Vodka, Sardinian Vermouth, Olive Oil). Despite not being a vodka person, vodka in dirty martinis is the one exception I will make from time to time, especially when there is a fun infusion that elevates the drink. I was extremely happy that, after ordering it, our server asked if I wanted it with a regular olive or feta-stuffed olive, as if there is really any deliberation that needs to happen there (read: feta-stuffed olives are a no-brainer). For the rest of the night I just got dirty martinis or espresso martinis which are both particularly excellent here. My partner tried the La Osa Albarino (Val do Salnes, Rias Biaxas, Spain) with our entrees which I also enjoyed. Food-wise, we got to sample a decent portion of the menu being a party of four, though we didn't order any of the bigger entrees (mostly because we could not justify the price). Everything was great and the only reason this isn't five stars is just because I reserve that for experiences where things are mind-blowing/super memorable and as they say, it is called the Hall of Fame not the Hall of the Very Good. In any case, it's hard to pick out a favorite dish because we really enjoyed everything, but that is a good sign for the rest of the menu should you want to order something we didn't try. Everything was an A or A+ in this meal so I'll skip the letter grades for this review. Eats, below: Norwegian Yellowtail Tartare w/ Ezme, Borage, Sumac Light, delicate, relatively straightforward as far as tartares go but the ezme adds a nice touch that's a nod to the Mediterranean. Gem Lettuce Salad w/ Dill, Scallion, Cucumber, Sesame-Anchovy Vinaigrette Super fresh and delicious, perhaps a little Caesar-esque but with far more intrigue. Sugar Kiss Melon w/ Stracciatella Di Buffala, Spicy Coppa, 25 Year Balsamic We actually decided to nix this at the last second when we realized we may have ordered a bit too much food but our lovely server brought it anyway (she really made the night for us). This could even be a dessert-type dish if you'd like, but certainly works among the savory courses too. Charred Spanish Octopus w/ Potato, Mint, Aged Sherry The octopus was beautifully cooked and presented, seasoned well, no notes on that. The potatoes were decent but less exciting than the rest of the dish imo. Roasted Dorade w/ Tamarind Glaze, Pomegranate, Jalapeño, Herb Salad Absolutely loved this dish. According to our server, it's on the opposite end of the spectrum from the branzino, which is a cleaner, simpler preparation (and the whole fish), while this is a total flavor bomb. While I do love branzino, I'm glad we opted for this at less than half of the price. And I'm pretty sure the last time the four us went out for dinner we ordered a full fish and I'm pretty sure it was branzino so here's to shaking things up. Rocky Mountain Lamb Chops w/ Black Garlic, Ras El Hanout, Mint Chermoula Despite not usually being a red meat person I really loved these. Incredibly juicy and flavorful, making a strong case for being priced as high as they are. Honey Spiced Carrots Don't sleep on sides! Often an afterthought but they deserve a seat at the table, and these were good evidence of this.
