The pupusas are of terrible quality. There's barely any filling and fall apart when you rip them open, no type of cheese pull. We ordered three queso con frijol, three queso con chicharrón, and four revueltas, all were served in a giant catering tray, indistinguishable/unlabeled so we had to open each pupusa to tell which was which. The order was wrong, got three queso con chicharrón and the others were all revueltas. Curtido was not pickled at all and it was super wilted and brown. This is my first time coming to this Salvadoran restaurant. Arrived during lunch hour and tue restaurant was not busy. The service was prompt and the server as professional, knowledgeable, as well as friendly. Ordered the breakfast or desayuno. Scrambled eggs with green beans plantain and casamiento. See the pics. Plus a coffee. Overall, the presentation is great, and the food had a great taste. The plantain was not greasy and the dish was not greasy. Every item on the plate had great flavor. From all the Salvadoran restaurants I have visited This restaurant has been outstanding. Perhaps if I were to visit during the weekends or when busy tue service might not be same. Lots of negative reviews but I can't say anything negative at all. And I will return and try other dishes and during peak times. The restaurant is big and can accommodate up to 80 guests so it was nice and clean and had Spanish music playing and it was not too loud. I like this place. The only thing I've ever tried and always order are the pupusas. They're a solid 9 out of 10. Service is fair for a Latino restaurant and the space and tables inside is huge. Now the only downside of this place is if you want to place an order over the phone during the late hours of day, they require all your card info. Literally all your card info to charge you. I stopped by here after having a craving for pupusas. This restaurant has been under my nose for a long time. It's in my neck of the woods. My first impression was it was a very posh looking restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. I tried the pupusas revueltas. They were cooked well. I wish they were a little greasier. The masa on the outermost part of the pupusa was a little too dry. I like when they are a bit more caramelized. The filling inside was decent, and the thickness was average. *Beware, there are 2 salsas. One is spicy! I didn't know they were different, so I burned my mouth. I think they should label the spicy one so people don't burn up like I did. Overall, it's a good place and I'll be back when I have another craving. read more

The women servers there are more interested in serving and attending single man or in groups more than a couple or a family! Owner was sitting in the second room having no idea was going on! Women servers there not polite at all and they don't come to your table to see if you need anything!! But if you are a group of single men they keep coming to check on them multiple servers. They accommodate you with a big portion of curitdo and have sauces ready for you on the table. Pupusas come out fresh and looks like made to order. Recently came here for the first time. While the pupusas we ordered were good, the caldo de res was not. The soup was watery and only had one piece of meat. Definitely not worth the $18 it costs. Was left very disappointed with the food. They must have expected a lot of customers this night as there were a lot of staff. But they were not attentive to those of us that were there. We had to wait extra long for our order and had to ask why the wait which seemed to annoy them. I've had better pupusas from a good truck. Don't think we'll be coming here again. read more

My husband and I ordered pan con pollo, pupusa revuelta, pastelitos de carne and platanos with crema and frijoles. All the food was delicious!!! It all came out promptly as well. I've seen other reviews regarding the lack of service but I think the key here is to go when it's not busy. For example, don't go on a Sunday after mass. Placed an order through the phone and they said pick up time would be 20 min. I go about 30 min later and they tell me they couldn't find my order. They claimed I called the wrong restaurant and I said no, I've ordered here before and I used the same number to place the order. I verified it and it was the same number. At this point, I said fine. Shit happens. I asked how long it would take to get my order if I ordered it then and they said 30-35 minutes, longer than the first time! I was done. I did not have time to sit around and wait another 30 minutes for my order. They need better people taking phone orders. This is ridiculous. This is probably one of my favorite pupuserias (they do the arroz pupusas really well). But the service is horrible. They take too long to bring your food out and forget your orders. I brought my parents here and we ordered the pupusas and yucca and my father ordered a chile relleno. The pupusas came out first. The chile relleno and the yucca were forgotten about. It wasn't until when my family finished eating that we were waiting on the chile and yucca. I went to go ask the waiter if the chile was coming out and he was very aggressive and said if hasn't come out, then I should just cancel it. So I did because that is not how you respond to a paying customer. I have come here time after time and something goes wrong with my order.
