Huevos con ejotes, scrambled eggs with beans and rice plus plantain and sour cream

This is my first time coming to this Salvadoran restaurant. Arrived during lunch hour and tue restaurant was not busy. The service was prompt and the server as professional, knowledgeable, as well as friendly. Ordered the breakfast or desayuno. Scrambled eggs with green beans plantain and casamiento. See the pics. Plus a coffee. Overall, the presentation is great, and the food had a great taste. The plantain was not greasy and the dish was not greasy. Every item on the plate had great flavor. From all the Salvadoran restaurants I have visited This restaurant has been outstanding. Perhaps if I were to visit during the weekends or when busy tue service might not be same. Lots of negative reviews but I can't say anything negative at all. And I will return and try other dishes and during peak times. The restaurant is big and can accommodate up to 80 guests so it was nice and clean and had Spanish music playing and it was not too loud. Yes, I do recommend this establishment to friends and family and happy to have visited. Thanks for reading

I stopped by here after having a craving for pupusas. This restaurant has been under my nose for a long time. It's in my neck of the woods. My first impression was it was a very posh looking restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. I tried the pupusas revueltas. They were cooked well. I wish they were a little greasier. The masa on the outermost part of the pupusa was a little too dry. I like when they are a bit more caramelized. The filling inside was decent, and the thickness was average. *Beware, there are 2 salsas. One is spicy! I didn't know they were different, so I burned my mouth. I think they should label the spicy one so people don't burn up like I did. Overall, it's a good place and I'll be back when I have another craving.

Top picture shows how it was served in June, 2023 Bottom pic is how it was served in March, 2024 Higher price less yucca

Went to have breakfast and we order food and some pupusas! Plate came first and pupusas never showed up until we were done! The women servers there are more interested in serving and attending single man or in groups more than a couple or a family! Owner was sitting in the second room having no idea was going on! Women servers there not polite at all and they don't come to your table to see if you need anything!! But if you are a group of single men they keep coming to check on them multiple servers. It seems to me that owner doesn't care at all! Read the messages here so you could make adjustments.

Delicious! Pupusas were so fresh and the tamale was exactly what I was craving! The servers were quick and very sweet and the music definitely fit the authentic Salvadoran vibe!

    Carne Guisada

Although yesterday was my first time at this restaurant, fell in love with the authentic Salvadoran feel and food options. I went with the carne guisada and it did not disappoint. Will be stopping by another time to try their other dishes. Had a pupusa as well, which was delicious!

The worst experience today at this place. I cant talk about their food, but their service leaves me dissatisfied to say the least. I have been to this place many times and many times I have had a bad experience but they outdid themselves today. My church even celebrated our leadership christmas party there two years in a row $$$!. No more! I called to place my order for yuca sancochada con salsa y curtido at 11am for pick up at 11:30am . I asked for the price and clarified i only wanted salsa y curtido, no chicharron. I got to the restaurant to pick up my order at 11:45am and they still had me wait 30 min. No apology or anything for the inconvenience! The server said the order wasn't in and lied saying she didnt take my order, the girl who took the order left already. Girl! You want to play that game, play it right and stop calling people linda, mi amor, corazón no! It was the same girl lying straight to my face. She finally gives me my food and it is plain yuca sancochada. She wanted to charge me an extra dollar for curtido y salsa. How many salvadoreans do you know eat plain yuca?? I let her know they had lost a customer to which she answer do as you wish, Im not going to argue with you. Ugh! Im discussed by that women's lack of professionalism! Never again while she's there!

When I was lost and confused since a lot of tags were missing and I didnt recognize all the pastries they helped us identify a bunch of them. I also love the mexican biscuits, Bought one to make breakfast sandwiches. It's savory and delicious (also huge). We got mexican tamales but next time I must get the guatemalan ones! The bakery is tucked into a small strip mall, and while it was buzzing with people inside, I'll admit I felt a bit intimidated approaching--there were two men outside staring, and I wasn't sure if they were customers or just loitering. Once inside though, it was a completely different vibe. The place was busy, with lots of people grabbing pastries, and the energy felt lively and welcoming. The conchas were fresh, soft, and had just the right amount of sweetness--you can tell they're made with care. Prices were very affordable, which made it even better. Even with the crowd, the service moved pretty efficiently. Overall, great pastries and worth the stop--just wish the outside experience felt a bit more comfortable. Next time I'll come earlier to hopefully grab conchas fresh out of the oven, and maybe give the tamales or chilaquiles a try.
