However, my issue arose with the financials and the final steps. When they opened up the wall, surprisingly, there was no more mold, contrary to the prior tests. John explained that I would receive a refund for the work they didn't need to perform. So far, everything was fair. In the beginning, John had offered to credit the inspection fee of $442.82, as this was the second inspection due to my delay in approving the work (my fault). I asked John to include this in the contract, and though he jokingly said, "Don't you trust me?" (I'm glad I requested it), he added it to the contract. We agreed on a date for the work to begin. However, I received a follow-up call because there was a scheduling conflict with another job. John offered me 10% off for my flexibility, and this, too, was added to the contract. After the work was completed (or not completed, since there was no mold), I was told a refund would be issued. After waiting a couple of weeks, I followed up with John, who, once again, was very responsive and said he would check with his accounting team. He followed up the next day, confirming the check would be issued. However, when I received the check, the attached contract did not include the credit for the inspection fee or the 10% discount. I followed up with John, but from this point on, he completely ghosted me. Despite multiple attempts to contact him over the next few weeks, he never responded. I even mentioned that I was willing to let go of the 10% discount and would just appreciate the reimbursement for the inspection fee, as we had agreed. I never heard back. Fortunately, I saved the version of the contract that included everything we discussed. I strongly recommend saving a PDF of each of your contracts when dealing with Green Home Solutions, as I lost access to previous versions each time a new one was sent. In conclusion, I will be seeking legal advice to determine if this is worth pursuing. Lastly, I am more than happy to update this review if the situation is resolved and the money owed to me is reimbursed. Thanks for reading!

We had contacted a local company and, while the quote and scope seemed adequate, the plan for condenser placement was not great and I had sticker shock. So I went to YELP and found JL Martin. I am so glad I did! Jared toured the home, and came up with a great plan for a new system and was able to come in around 3K less that the previous company. I appreciated the 'out of box' thinking! This included working with the city permit process as well. The biggest hold up was actually the city acknowledging and passing the plan. Once that happened the JL Martin team scheduled quickly and the install was completed in under a day. The install team was incredibly respectful, explained everything that they were doing, and took great pains to be as unobtrusive as possible. They gave me the guidance on what to expect with the state inspection and city, made sure I understood what the filter requirements would be in the future and the city signed off within 10 days of install. I could not have asked for a better experience! They really work with you and everyone, from installer to office staff to upper management were amazing, responsive and helpful. They deserve all the reviews that encouraged me to reach out to them.

From the beginning, I spoke with Anthony, who I believe is a manager or scheduler. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the issues I was having with the furnace. He was patient and explained the different parts of the furnace in a way that made sense, instead of it all sounding like a foreign language. He was also very responsive and text-friendly. On top of that, he gave me advice to contact my warranty company and get written confirmation of what they would and would not cover regarding costs. He didn't have to do that, but he made it clear he didn't want me spending money unnecessarily. The technician they sent was equally great. His name was Andrew, and he was on time and communicative throughout the entire process. I was at work, and he provided constant updates and photos. He went above and beyond with the service and even swept up the garage before leaving. All in all, I would absolutely recommend going with these guys.
