Through the years we have had the ~ 1000+ square feet refreshed maybe twice. Everyone who has ever visited our home raves over the wow factor the evergreen carpet grass adds to our patio, pool, and gardens. Recently, ATT subcontractors caused the carpet and its crushed granite base to need refurbishing and essentially what amounted to a re-install. I called SYNLawn and spoke with Angela Herald their Project Administrator who could not have been more helpful, professional, and patient with me. She arranged for Ryan, the Project Team Supervisor, to come and appraise the work in order to assess the workload. Ryan and I walked over every inch of what needed to be done. It looked like it might be 3 to 4 weeks before they could fit my size project into their schedule however, true to her word, Angela called me with an opportunity to have a 4-man crew come to do the job the next morning. I agreed and Ryan came with his crew, lined them out, and the four-man team set about their task. 5 hours later, one would be hard-pressed to think that this was not a brand-new carpet! Every aspect and detail has been professionally dealt with by these craftsmen. Thank you! We are very pleased with SYNLawn of Houston and its drive to ensure client satisfaction. Well done. I had really hoped to avoid writing this review but I have lost my patience with this company.  We…read morehired them to add some artificial turf to our backyard.  We already had a putting green with artificial turf installed by a different company so figured this would be an easier addition. The initial crew that was sent out didn't seem to have much experience and despite having our irrigation guy change the irrigation before they came out (to avoid messing it up) they still cut multiple lines and managed to cut lines to our lighting system. They also placed artificial turf over valves that I had to have access to. Our irrigation had to be complete redone which synlawn agreed to subtract from the cost of our lawn and sent out a completely different crew to fix the others mistakes.  Even with the huge hassle I was willing to let it go since they fixed the issue.  However, we started to notice that the turf would get scalding hot (not an issue we had with previous turf) and then started to notice that it seemed to be melting. I called the company and they said that this can happen from window glares and that this is common.  No one mentioned this to us previously.  Since we had some leftover turf they agreed to come fix it at a low cost IF we got those windows tinted.  We decided that we didn't really have another choice so we paid another company to tint the windows and set up for them to come fix it.  I came home to find that they laid the new pieces the opposite direction of the original turf so it looks like a patchwork quilt and also did not get the whole melted area.  I have contacted them again to see how to resolve this issue once again.  This process has been more than frustrating and I feel like we should have been notified about the window being able to melt and the fact that this premium turf would get so hot. After talking to neighbors who used a different company they were told all these things beforehand.  It is for a these reasons that despite whether or not this is resolved I cannot in good faith ever recommend this company.

Alex and his team were able to address all our issues and concerns making our backyard more enjoyable no matter the weather. The workers showed up bright and early to begin work over the course of the 4 day project and if any questions arose they would ask me before they did something. Which helped put my mind at ease. Ask me when I would like to get the project started and then got upset at me and asked me that he didn't call me to argue and I told him I don't know when I wanna get started. I thought you guys would come out and look at the place and he just became argumentative for no reason when I was trying to do a schedule an appointment and then he said that he's not getting along with me and hung up. Mike and his team quickly, efficiently and at a good price moved an AC unit and a sewage line to make room for a bigger patio. They then constructed an attached pergola, a brick and tile patio and a wall. He also installed sod and a sprinkler system. All of this was done very quickly, with beautiful construction and within the prices he gave us. We really appreciated that we could show Mike a photo and he could give us a fair quote and make it happen with solid advice thrown in when we had questions. I had a great experience with Fernandez Landscape Contractors! My project involved many facets of…read moreimprovement to the appearance of my home and it's surroundings beginning with the removal and replacement of a thick, old cement and gravel patio which was replaced by beautifully crafted travertine tiles. Off the patio are gravel wings topped by tasteful stepping stones which conceal catch basins and drainage pipe to the street. The bushes along the entire front of the home were removed and replaced by new beds of assorted plants and landscaping rock. The new bushes are large, full and healthy looking, not your typical teacup sized fare commonly seen in new landscaping projects. Thick rock and gravel walkways along these areas were removed and new ones laid with stepping stones to the driveway. The job was embellished with many extras, mulch placed in extra areas, sod put down where grass was sparse, minor woodworking adjustments... I've gone into this detail to outline the project blueprint and the obvious experience the owner, Ernesto, possesses to pull it all together and I'm not particularly easy to work with or impress. The assigned crew had an extremely strong work ethic and pride in themselves and one another. The same folks came every day for the entire project and are marvelously in sync with one another. They were helpful and good natured, always willing to explain a task or process, each one a delight. They came one last time today to fine tune the job and move things back into place. Again, above and beyond is the best way to describe each person's performance. They earned a monetary token of appreciation and truth be known, their worth and the outcome of their work would easily merit three times the amount. This was a good experience and the price of it was fair. If the boss says it'll be done, it's done and we all know that's usually not the case.
