He told me his costs and scared the crap out of me, so I did the diagnostic myself. Find out that it was a bad switch and I can just buy online. What an amazing service! Wife and I were looking to replace our dressers we got as wedding presents almost 20 years ago since the drawers were a nightmare to use. The old tracks always were bad and now were just horrible. We started shopping and found all the new furniture was very flimsy and cheaply made unless you spent huge amounts of money so we decided to see if it was repairable. We contacted Sebastian and right from the get go he was professional and responsive in all communication. After going over options and coming out to measure the furniture he arranged a price for the job and we set a date for the work. There was an issue with the hardware we agreed upon, but in the end he was able to make a different set work and now all three pieces of furniture have new slides which are a huge upgrade from the old ones and they feel new again. He was super awesome to have around and ask questions with and his pricing was more than reasonable for the amount of work and craftsmanship he put into the job. When the back of our reclining loveseat broke, I called around looking for a place to repair it, and The Number 2 Project was recommended to me. I am so impressed with Sebastian!!! I had a very small project due to some weird measurements for my new microwave drawer to replace my old one. It didn't fit but by the numbers, it should have. We just needed to make the space slightly taller, like maybe an inch? I had tried for months trying to get someone to do it. I was either told no, the jobs not big enough, or they tried to talk me into a whole kitchen remodel. At least when they said it wasn't big enough, they weren't lying to me? Needless to say, I was frustrated. I had a person out that said they could do it, and then completely ghosted me. I also got tricked into Angie's list (it wasn't an Angie list website but ended up connecting me to them) and had to deal with their BS too. Seriously don't use Angie's list. I finally was able to Google with the right key words and stumbled on this company. It lists everything they do, and includes small jobs. I was hopeful, but also wasn't expecting much because of all the trouble I had had. I reached out and it took awhile to connect, and once I did, Sebastian was honest about his time frame and let me know what I could do to help him understand the project I needed done. He also let me know it would be awhile since he had time off scheduled which I appreciated. I sent him everything he needed, and then followed up with him in a few weeks. We decided the best way to look at it was for him to come and actually physically look at what was going on. So he came and was very professional and very kind. We discussed how he would approach it, what it would cost, and how much. The best part is that he said it's possible and he could do it, and gave me when he could get it done. He sent the contract over and once my husband and I looked at it, we paid a portion to secure the project (like any normal contractor job), and he came on the date promised. He finished it quickly, and cleaned up everything he did. We tested it out to make sure everything was okay before he left, and I was just so happy it was completed! And done well!
