We had cabinets REFACED AND REPLACED in our kitchen and REPLACED in our den area. We also had new drawers and pull-outs installed and a new kitchen backsplash installed. Everything looks great. Arturo came out to talk with us about his work, take measurements, and provide estimates. He was always on time, detailed oriented, and very communicative about everything. The same was true when he and Sergio came out to start the job by prepping the relevant areas and seeing the work to its conclusion. We had a couple of minor snafus: Two of our kitchen doors did not arrive on time, and some of the kitchen tile backsplash needed to be re-done. Arturo had to come back about a week after the rest of the job was finished to install the remaining two doors. Just about every day Arturo called to tell me the status of the doors and when he thought they would arrive. He apologized and was very professional about making sure that we were okay with waiting the extra time to get the doors. As respects the backsplash issue, Arturo actually noticed part of the problem himself and replaced a tile that was unevenly installed. When my husband and I noticed additional tiles that needed replacing, he fixed it without hesitation. Overall, we were very pleased with our kitchen and den projects and highly recommend Capitol City Cabinets. He transformed my old beat up wood cabinets into such beautiful cabinetry, why spend and extra $30k for new cabinets when you can paint your existing ones!!! He added an inside mount european style hinge with a soft close to my old cabinets and drawers and they look brand new. He added additional cabinetry that matches my "old" cabinets so perfectly! I absolutely love love love my kitchen. From day 1 my project went smooth, I wanted changes along the way, Arturo always said "no problem, we can do that for you". He is the most respectful and professional contractor I've ever dealt with. He was always available for my phone calls and questions, never hard to reach. Arturo and Oscar just completed our cabinet remodel in our kitchen, laundry room, two bathrooms, and the linen closet. They are lovely and even exceeded our expectations. Arturo and Oscar were great to work with from the beginning to the end. They were professional, prompt and couldn't do enough to make everything perfect for us. They started by putting up plastic to contain the dust in the room they were working in. When they started removing doors and drawers in the kitchen they found that we had two broken drawers and had to replace them. OMG the two drawers he replaced are so much better than the other older drawers. I love them. Arturo also threw in several extras. He added four pull out drawers in the pantry, faced the shelves, and told us if we wanted new appliances he would be happy to replace the old ones when he was finished. While Oscar was taking out the old oven he found that it had been installed incorrectly and not wired correctly. Arturo rewired the inside of the cabinet before installing our new oven. We can't say enough about our new cabinets and Arturo's craftsmanship. He took great pride in his work and wanted to make sure every room was perfect and that we were happy with everything. In October 2014, we had our kitchen cabinets refaced, had some new cabinets made, and replaced florescent lighting with recessed led lighting. For about 2/3 the price quoted by a big box store and a home improvement store, we received our new, bright, and remodeled kitchen. Arturo (owner of the business) and his crew are very professional, courteous; have timely completion, kept us fully informed of the work progress, and protected the house from dust and debris by sealing off areas with plastic sheets and covering the floors at all times where work was being done. WOW!!! Just WOW! Arturo and Sergio just finished my kitchen and I LOVE it! It was a bit of a wait from the signing of the contract but it was so worth it! They started work on the estimated start date and finished right on time! (even though I picked out backsplash that is beautiful, but so difficult to install, sorry guys!) We've had Arturo do two jobs for us and both times we were extremely pleased with his work. He is very professional and does excellent cabinet work. Both jobs were rather complicated. One involved reconfiguring our large built in book case & desk, which took up most of the room in the study. Arturo redesigned it using the same wood and made it look like it was the original design. The reconfigured bookcase and desk took up only half of the room in the study. The other job was to make wood paneling for our built in refrigerator. He had to match the wood exactly with the built in custom cabinets. He did an outstanding job of that as well. The refrigerator doors matched the cabinets exactly. We hired Capitol City Cabinets, Arturo, to remodel our very outdated kitchen. Arturo and his team tore out a section of counter that was cutting our kitchen in half and they added shelving to some cabinets making them more 'user friendly'. We have a large kitchen with butlers pantry. Our goal was to have the cabinets refaced and a new wall oven with convection/microwave installed.
