My first experience with her was actually for my 8 y.o daughter, who was terrified of dentists and had a fast-developing abscess. Another dentist told us it was so severe she'd need to see a specialist in Thousand Oaks, under anesthesia, you can imagine the enormous cost. Instead, I took a chance and brought her to Dr. Anoush. She calmly handled everything herself, removed 2 teeth under simple local anesthesia, and made my daughter feel safe and comfortable. I couldn't believe it - my daughter, who used to panic even when we parked near a dental office, trusted Dr. Anoush completely. After that, I became a patient myself, followed by my other child, my mom, and now even my husband. Every visit has been outstanding. The receptionists are friendly, and the lobby is small. Receptionists were always prompt about giving me at least 48 hours notice of my appointment time which I really appreciated. Dr. Vorperian is kind, but he's not warm - he's very direct which I could understand why patients might find him off-putting. However, I never felt he was unprofessional, mean, or anything else besides helpful. He provided me with relief and set up a temporary crown for an eventual permanent crown. The entire process took about two months, but that was only because my insurance needed to approve it, not the office. Overall, I had a positive experience. While going to the dentist can be intimidating, Dr. Vorperian and his staff took excellent care of me when I needed it most, and I am very grateful.

OK, I used the referral they gave me (they had no Endo on staff) and in July got the work done. Went back to Burbank location to proceed, told me my dentist was no longer there. No other female dentists at Burbank. I said fine I checked around and found thie Reseda location, so in Oct 2023 I went there and had the crowns done on 19 & 20. No problem - until they started sending me bills for $730 !!! Long story short(er ) seems Burbank had gone ahead and billed Delta Dental for the 19 & 20 crowns they never did (and got paid) so when Reseda billed they were denied as it exceeded my 'plan benefit' I went back and forth with the office/billing staff at both locations for 2 months being told its a corporate issue, they would straighten it out, don't worry, then finally telling me it was straightened out. So now in March 2026 I get a a letter from a debt collector stating I owe them $730!!! Note: The actual work done at the Reseda location was fine. The whole issue started with Burbank office staff, but was made worse when Reseda location AFTER knowing full well the whole story (and claiming it was all worked out!) then turns the matter over to a collection agency 2 years later!!!

No receptionist, no hygienist, no dental assistant etc. They literally do everything. Which means 2 things. A) it's very hard to get them on the phone bc they are w patients all day. B) they should theoretically have way better prices because they have less overhead. The location is also deep in Reseda in a less affluent area (nice word for ghetto). It's in a residential neighborhood which is kind of odd - the office seems like it was a house converted into an office. Idk - in any case, I had a root canal recently and needed a crown. I thought I'd check back with Dr Mariana thinking maybe she'll have a good price. Turns out my insurance (United Healthcare PPO) was maxed out. So I asked - "what would I need to pay then without insurance?" She's quoted me $1,300!! Even with insurance that would have come out to like $650+ which is something you would expect from a "higher-end" dentist w full staff in a nicer area. I was shook - I asked if she can go any lower bc that is too much money - she told me "no that's the price maybe go talk with your other dentist". Crazy response - big attitude, low emotional awareness - idk maybe she's bitter that I have another dentist? In any case - I don't recommend this dentist based on the fact that - she was rude/always has an attitude, it's inconvenient to get ahold of them (they never answer) bc they have no staff, the prices are wayyy too high for that area/given that its just 2 of them w no staff (no hygienist or dental assistant to pay). We're new patients, and from the first call, everything was easy. The person who helped me on the phone walked me through everything. I got text reminders, and I was able to fill out all our forms online before showing up - which made check-in super smooth. We had appointments at 3 and 4 for my daughter and son. We arrived about 15 minutes early, handed over our insurance cards and ID, and maybe waited 5 minutes before they took us back - before 3! They got my daughter's x-rays done and her seated, and then brought my son in (even though his appointment was for 4), took his x-rays, and had him seated by around 3:20. They sat the kids next to each other so both parents could be nearby. Cleanings were efficient and gentle, and not even five minutes after they finished, the doctor came over, checked their teeth and x-rays, and literally gave them a round of applause for having zero cavities. She was so warm, patient, and took time to answer all my questions. Everyone we interacted with was amazing - special shout-out to Dahlia (one of the hygienists), who was so sweet. The entire team was working hard, smiling, and truly welcoming. There was even someone dedicated to cleaning the office the whole time. The place was spotless, adorable, and had such a happy, organized vibe. We were out by 3:45! I can't say enough good things. This was hands down the best dental experience we've had.
