I have had to go back for nail repairs constantly with in a week after getting my nails done. Recently, I got my nails done for the holiday. After a week, the thumb nail fell completely off after getting a dip manicure and pedicure spending over $100.00. I went in after an event and the manager, Tip fixed it. I was at an event when it fell off like a Walgreens press on nail! I didn't even know that could happen with a dip. Two days later the rest of the nails started falling off too. They all fell off except two. I still had holiday events to attend and had to go with my nails looking bad, it was so embarrassing! I called and spoke to the manager, Tip. He said to come in and that he would make it right. When I came in he refused because it was after the holidays on Jan 2nd. This was the 1st opportunity that I could come in because of the holidays. I have spent thousands of dollars there over the years, but will never return! I will now find another nail salon to spend my money and would like everyone to know about the horrible customer service that I received! If you're looking for a good nail salon, try somewhere else! Katie did my pedicure and dip today and she brought me to the level of cuteness and style I'm use to - just in time for Easter. The salon is clean and elegant. They have installed plexiglass at each station and they wear masks and follow the CDC guidelines for social distancing. Today I came in and tried to use a $100 gift certificate that I had had. Now in full transparency, it was older. It was dated December 11, 2022. The owner Nate came by and I know he recognizes me as a loyal customer and stated that he wishes he could honor this for me, but it was eight years old and too much time had passed. I politely pointed out that the date was December 11 2022 and not eight years. He said he was really sorry regardless he would not be able to honor it then he noticed his late wife's (Deb's) signature on it. So he knew it was authentic. And he asked me if he could keep it as a Momento. Unfortunately, my family and I will not be back to this establishment. In the state of Illinois, a single merchant must honor the gift cards. As this was not a promotional gift card, it was one that was paid fully for.
