Between yesterday and today, my wife and I each visited and supported this local small business - everything was solid and nice couple owns the place

Great French Bakery to dine in or even take out. They have these amazing chocolate croissants that you must try. I love their pizza too, very delicious with fresh ingredients, everything here is pretty much fresh, even when you buy orange juice it's freshly squeezed. Amazing place and very authentic. They serve you well and are greatly spoken. 10/10.

After so many years of coming to Suzuya. I must say, they are very consistent and by now I think I've tried every regular item and plenty of yummy seasonal items. We love the salads when we're avoiding sugary stuff & pair it with a straight forward Matcha. For the desserts/pastries, my family loves the strawberry cake for birthdays. Me, I don't like cake unless it's cheesecake & they have a variety. Personally I do love the Yuzu Panna Cotta (ya I prolly spelt that wrong). && the macaroons are super great, ima MAC kinda guy, so a variety of flavors is a W! For the vibe inside! I love the music not having lyrics, super chill jazzy upbeat. So it's easy to concentrate for conversations, reading and online work. It's always very clean, constant flow of customers, some apparel & grab n go items. The colors are a soft wood, white and green plants all around with some gold accents and a clean appearance of staff, with positive attitudes. If I wanting anything more from the biz, it would be a reward system & larger sized drinks. I know bigger drinks aren't necessarily good for us, so I get it :-/ haha. Either way, 10 out of 10 biz!

Thank you, Mike, for taking the time to respond. I appreciate your acknowledgment of the other…read moreservice issues I experienced. However, I do want to clarify one very important point regarding my service dog. He was calm, quiet, and completely under control throughout the entire visit. He was not active, disruptive, or vocal at any time. He is a trained service dog, not a pet. I also want to clarify that under the ADA, a person with a service dog cannot be required to sit outside simply because they are accompanied by a service animal. Service dogs are generally permitted to accompany their handlers in areas where customers are normally allowed. A service animal may only be excluded in limited circumstances, such as when the animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action, or when the animal is not housebroken. Neither of those circumstances applied here. So while I understand your policy regarding active or vocal dogs, that does not describe my dog or what happened during my visit. He was calm and caused no disturbance whatsoever. I sincerely hope your staff can be better informed about the distinction between pets and service animals so that another customer with a legitimate service dog is not made to feel unwelcome or told they MUST sit outside.

We tried the peaches and cream cake, mini tiramisu and mini cheesecake. The tiramisu was on point and so rich while also maintaining its light and airy appeal. Same for the peaches and cream cake - it has chunks of fresh peaches that were naturally sweet with the light fluffiness of the cake and whipped filling and topping to feel like a peachy cloud swept me away. Additionally their baked savory pastries are fresh, flavors are on point and super tasty. An absolute midday treat. We tried the kimchi and curry pastries. Great, balanced flavors. My absolute favorite has to be their ube latte though. The ube flavor shines through so beautifully and offers that escape from a stressful day that i am always hopeful a nice latte will. The tiramisu latte is a strong second favorite. Even when the lines look long, service is fast and the wait is impressively not as long as i anticipated it to be. They really do a wonderful job of bringing freshness, quality, service and flavor together for our enjoyment.

My suggestion for pastries would be to hit a French or Japanese bakery where they import real ingredients and don't use enriched flour or a bunch of seed oils and ingredients that just aren't worth eating. Service is basic as it gets, employees there just to do their job which is 100% okay. But in a service industry there's just not much to say about staff that stands out. They just have you pay for what you served yourself and you're on your way. The set up is nice inside and fairly clean. One thing I see often is that the amount of use with the tongs, I never seen clean ones come back to where they are and I been her a few dozen times with friends and family. So that's pretty gross imo. ***this is what hurts the most*** At the end of the night, what doesn't sell gets trashed. This is so hard to watch and I've watched them do this three times. You could feed a small army with the waste they have. I understand some laws get in the way of giving free food to homeless and blah blah blah. But there are many apps in use now they could sign up for where leftover unsold items could be sold for a fraction of the price. I've talked to staff twice about why they just trash and the only response was that they are to bake fresh every day. If you look at the ingredients, this place doesn't use gut friendly ingredients and the amount of junk in it is crazy. So to bake fresh not healthy food daily then waste hundreds of not thousands of retail valued food is insane. Glad you're doing well enough to just toss food but please at least get connected with one of those apps to at least let budget eaters get deals on what you're tossing anyways. It won't hurt your business and your having less loss as one as well.

Cory was our server on visit #1 and he helped us out a bit in visit #2 as well. What a doll. He's so kind and helped get us what we needed for the meal. He was always on it and quietly making sure everyone was all set. Zarina was the other standout who helped us. She was incredibly sweet with the guests and my little lady specifically. She was so sincere in her caring about the guests and chatting with us. The space is beautiful. Pastries ate arranged in a pleasing display in the front. The macaroons are gorgeous. The tables are clean and the seating is comfortable. Now, the food. Guys. GUYS. So good. We had (and would 100% have again); * the caprese gallette * the Nutella crepe with bananas * a slice of the salmon broccoli quiche * a croque Monsieur (hubs said it was the best he's ever had) * the chevrontine gallette * a veggie tart that I can't remember the name of but was amazing * a Nutella brioche * a tarte tropizienne * an assortment of 6 macaroons * iced americano * iced tea * hot chocolate * chocolate milk * an iced vanilla matcha latte In conclusion: go get yourself some treats at Cafe Breizh. You will not regret your choices. And maybe we'll see you there!
