AMAZING! I didn't realize that this place, NUTTEA, is 100% dairy-free and vegan. I'm not vegan, but I try to avoid dairy because I'm lactose intolerant -- and Boba is one treat I usually indulge in. I was pleasantly surprised to see that everything here is dairy-free! They make their own cashew nut milk, and I ordered a jasmine milk tea, which is normally my go-to at Boba places. I literally could not tell that it didn't have dairy -- it was that good! The shop itself is super cute, and the staff are really friendly. I live in Seattle, so I'm sad it's not closer, but I hope their business thrives and they can expand to the States. Finally, a boba tea shop that is dairy-free for all of us that have lactose issues! We got the earl grey tea with tapioca and their signature nut cream. The cream is delicious but really sweet after the first few bites (definitely try it before you mix it in). The tapioca balls/bubbles are really fresh and chewy. Tea is also solid. I do wish there was a better way to mix the cream into the tea - but I ended up with tea that's a little less sweet and a blob of cream at the end that was too sweet :( read more

I fell in love with their nut cream since the last time I came and I just want to order drinks with their nut cream again and again every time I come here now. That's not very often since they are very out of the way for us. I do wish they were open up more Nuttea shops around...well, everywhere! I was with my daughter and her friend. I let them both scoop a bit of my nut cream so they could try and they were both suitably impressed with the nut cream as well! The barista described it as the perfect texture between butter cream and whipped cream... and I completely agree! The flavor was definitely nutty, but quite light and balanced the tea so well. I ordered from their Top 5 Menu, and went with the Red Grape Tea with Nut Cream. I was skeptical to be honest, but I absolutely loved it! Refreshing from the blended fresh grapes, but incredibly creamy from their housemade nut cream. 10/10 I recommend! I wish there was something like this where I lived. Hands down, one of my favorite places to get a (semi) healthy drink/bubble tea! This place is so unique. They make cream foam out of nuts! It's absolutely delicious to eat on its own or have as a foam on top of a drink. I highly recommend the grape tea with regular cream. It'll be a perfect balance of fruitiness from the grape, bitter/earthy notes from the tea and slightly salty/umami creaminess from the but cream. The service here is also super great. Staff are friendly and always happy to answer any questions. They package their to go drinks so well. I've never seen so much care go into a to go drink before. Ambiance is cute. The last time I had this brand was in Taipei, so it's great to see they made it to Vancouver. They have their own proprietary nut mylk blend, which has lots of depth. This is my favorite bubble tea spot! The drinks are always bang on, never overly sweet, and you can really taste the quality in the tea. I love that you can choose your sweetness level (none, low, medium, or high) I usually go with low and it's perfect. They even make their own house Nut Mylk right on the premises, which makes the drinks so smooth and creamy. Plus, everything here is vegan! The space itself is really cute and has a vibe with tables both inside and outside. It's great for a casual hangout or just enjoying a peaceful drink. Walking along 4th street on a fall evening, I wanted something warm and remembered Nuttea was nearby. The place is small but cutely decorated with a wall full of things for sale that you don't need but will definitely want. I got the black sesame nut mylk since I can't resist anything with black sesame. It was warm and nutty but could have had a bit more sweetness. Great place for vegan bubble tea in a cute and clean shop! The nut mylk is better than any non dairy milks, like oat, soy, or almond milk. The nut cream is the vegan substitute for the cheese foam, which adds a sweet and salty form on top of ur drink. Even if you have a nut allergy, there are still options! The staff was very nice and made a fruit tea for my son with nut allergies. Not a vegan but I've been lactose intolerant forever and this cafe specializes in amazing vegan drinks. I came for their hot chocolate festival 2024 drinks and was very pleasantly surprised. They also have a wide variety of vegan bubble teas that 100% pass the bubble tea flavour test. They let me try the nutmylk on its own and it was very rich, extremely flavourful. I had the most amazing experience stopping in here yesterday. I had heard about this place recently from someone who worked in the community and I had not realized that they served bubble tea. I knew that they had nut milks but bubble tea is my most favourite beverage in the world so I knew I had to come by at some point. I ordered the oolong milk tea with tapioca pearls and it was creamy and delicious. I am not a dairy free person all the time but I do try to buy nut or oat beverages from time to time. Sometimes nut or oat milk has a bit of a funky taste but oh my gosh, they let me taste a sample of just their plain nut milk and it was nutty and almost the slightest bit cocoa-y in away. On top of letting me sample a bit of their nut milk, I also sampled their agar pearls as well. They definitely would taste really good with a fruity beverage. The next time I go back I am going to try a drink with their foam. It's like that cheese foam that you can get at some bubble tea shops but there is obviously made with that milk and therefore dairy free. But it was so delicious a slight bit salty but dense and delicious. To top it all off, I receive the most amazing customer service. The space is small but beautiful inside. Nuttea is located on a busy commercial area on West 4th Ave. There are a lot of coffee shops in the area but this is the only one that does HK style milk tea using a combination of nuts to create their nut milk instead of the cows milk. The store has only been opened for just over a month now and everything is bright, shinny and new. I stopped by on a weekday just after they opened. Met the owner, Karry, and her sister who explained the concept of the store. They use milk from several nuts that have been harvested, roasted and pressed overseas. I sampled the nut mylk (yes that is what they call it) and also the nut cream....the nut cream is perfect for ice cream...wow...so good. I opted for the iced coffee with nut mylk and nut cream on top. It was perfect on a hot summer day. It was a positive experience and happy to recommend Nuttea if in the area and looking for a healthier milk coffee or tea. read more

I am so happy that there is a plant-based, dairy-free bubble tea shop here in Vancouver. They even make their nut milk fresh daily. It's comprised of cashew, walnut, and macadamia milk (and they don't use any additives). I ordered one of the seasonal drinks they were offering - Dragonfruit Tea with Nut Cream on top. The dragonfruit tea was very refreshing and the nut cream was just absolutely delicious. Needless to say, I finished the drink very quickly. I'm definitely coming back here to try their other drinks. I want to try their nut milk tea next time (with the nut cream topping, of course.) Overall, service was great because their staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining what their drinks are and I got my drink quickly even though they were quite busy. Price is similar to other bubble tea shops. There's metered street parking available right in front of the store, but we were able to find free parking which was just a few blocks away. Definitely a must try bubble tea shop for everyone, but especially to those who are lactose intolerant. I wish they open more locations in the future. read more

Almost mindblowing that these drinks were made with nut mylk, I genuinely think I prefer it over the bubble teas made with dairy milk. Nuttea makes their own nut mylk fresh daily with a blend of 30% cashews, walnuts, and macadamias. They don't add any gums or preservatives, and I can taste the difference. The distinct nutty notes in their drinks was unlike anything I had experienced before. They only use real ingredients in their drinks--that means no weird syrup flavours or powders. I was able to try their Hunny Dream drink which won first place in this years Spring Drink Challenge. It's made with a base of earl grey nut mylk tea, topped with their signature nut cream and honey crumbs. Love this place! I tried it for the very first time today. The team was friendly and welcoming. Overall interaction was a perfect 10 IMHO. I ended up loving the strawberry cream so I went with this with the cold matcha drink. I was super impressed. The froth and flavour was perfect and refreshing. I love how they use sustainable materials. Straw was made of seaweed so it's compostable as well as the wooden spoon for the cream. Lovely place that opened in the neighbourhood! This place is such a great alternative to dairy. It's healthier and better for the environment but still tastes great. I had the seasonal special dragonfruit with original nut cream. The nut cream was so frothy and light, that I can't believe it was all made from nuts. The drink was so refreshing on a warm day. Nuttea brings something really unique to the Vancouver bubble tea scene. Vegan bubble tea is fortunately no longer that difficult to find, but Nuttea goes a step further by really embracing the nut rather than just making a substitution for dairy. They make their own fresh nut mylk and cream for their drinks. I tried a drink with the cream, the Earl Grey w/ Chocolate Nut Cream. Because it was my first time with them, one of the staff members explained to me how it's meant to be enjoyed: first taste the cream on its own, then tilt to sip and taste the cream and tea separately before mixing. I definitely recommend following the instructions; I got really caught up in step 2 because the cream was absolutely heavenly on its own and the tea was also very nice, so I didn't actually mix them until I was more than halfway through the drink, but the result was a silky, creamy drink that was just as good as the cream alone, so I wish I had gotten to enjoy more of that. The chocolate-earl grey combo really works! I got the tea at 0% sweet, and the cream was surprisingly not very sweet either. I liked the bittersweet chocolate flavour with the straight tea, but it's kind of an intense taste, so don't get the 0 sugar unless you really mean it. The owners are very nice and passionate about the product. Besides tea and mylk, they also sell vegan baked goods from To Live For and gift shop-type things like candles and jewelry. I would strongly recommend Nuttea to anyone looking for vegan tea/bubble tea, or bubble tea enthusiasts in general that want to try something different! Not sure what it is about the Nut Cream they make here, but it is a MUST TRY if you are on 4th. Located in the heart of Kits, this little beverage shop hits far above its weight in terms of both flavour and value for money (a rare sight in this area!) Each drink comes topped with their proprietary "Nut Cream" which is almost like a heavier, richer, more delicious version of the "cheese foam" you see at a lot of places. This is no "foam" though. This is CREAM. NUTTEA's signature topping manages to be velvetty and smooth, packed with flavour but not too much sweetness, and still somehow still mixes into the drinks perfectly. Their specially made lids give you a chance to try some of the cream with a spoon, before mixing it in and getting down to business with the straw. My personal favourite is the chocolate nut cream, but i haven't yet had a drink here that I disliked. Will be back again and again, probably whenever I get around to Kits. read more

There are plenty of options to choose from and some toppings to choose from. But what makes this shop different from the others that it serves the milk with 5 different type of nuts and if i remember correctly it was almond, hazelnut, cashew, and hmm i forgot the other two. Combing the 5 different nuts make the milk and cream super good. I love it so much!! It honestly made the milk tea super good and i couldnt tell the difference of the type of the milk and that is how good it is.
