Every time we have ordered anything fried, it usually burnt ... fries, onion rings and the fish !

The place is cool inside and out looks like a old garage and parking seems alright but could be a problem during the summertime. Also the is a lack of outside trash cans for when you are done since it's kind of a old school drive up we're you eat in your car. The burger was good the meat was alright not great. This burger lacked seasoning in all aspects of this it was very plain and basic even with a bunch of toppings. The onion rings were hand dipped beer battered but also lacked seasoning very very bland and hard to eat. It needed the extra sauce that they charge you to counter act the thick beer batter that leaves you with a mouth full of hard to eat bland batter. This place is a cool spot if you are in the area but they really need to invest in some seasoning salt in my opinion read more

Bad customer service this evening. Missing items in food to go. We came to pick up a picnic dinner. We eat at Nutty's once every few weeks. We got to our destination opened our bag and noted we had no napkins or tarter sauce for my husbands fish and chips. We also didn't have the fry sauce we requested for the French fries. I called to give them feedback thinking if I spoke with the manager about it kindly he would just give his staff a verbal reminder to please include the tarter sauce with the fish and chips dinner and to remember the sauces people order. That's it..that's all I wanted. I would eat there again. HOWEVER when I called them I asked for the manager and was told "We don't have time for customer feedback we're all working" and I was then hung up on. Now I'm thinking I won't be back and will continue to share this poor customer service response with others. read more

Last night I had a Horrible experience and they lost a repeat customer who's favorite burger came from them! I went in to order shakes and some fries cause that's what sounded good. The teenager at the counter was NOT friendly. She wasn't rude but she was kinda short and had a bad attitude so I didn't give them a large tip. I work in customer service and most customer service jobs don't even get tips. I expect friendly service if you want a bigger tip ‍ I gave her back the reciept after putting the tip on and signing it and she looks at the tip and double takes. Her friend looks at her, says something along the lines of "how much did she give?" And the first girl says, I heard this perfectly, the EXACT amount I had just given in tip. They then laugh and make a dirty face at each other and glance that dirty face at me before realizing I was watching. After being upset for a good couple minutes waiting for my food, I got the attention of a manager, POLITELY explained what happened and he had the GALL to tell me I'm a liar, I made it up and they don't feel that way about tips. TELL YOUR GIRLS THAT. I will not be going back to Nuttys and I suggest if you don't want to have rude teenagers serve you, that you don't either. I'll be driving extra time to get a better burger elsewhere. And if anyone knows me they know I'm the friendliest person ever so I did NOTHING to deserve this read more

Dual Quad all day !! It's always a pleasure to get a burger from Nutty's Junkyard Grill. The french fries are the best. Mrs Billy D had the Junk Trunk and onion rings. They observe all the Covid regulations and the dining room is closed. You walk into the building and order then they bring your grub to the car. There are some outside tables but they are at a premium. I happen to have a no food in the car policy so we flipped up the hatch on the Jeep and tailgated. It's worked out and we had a very tasty burger and fries. Good to go! read more

This is my go to place for burgers. The first burger I tried here was the Big Block and it is so good that I don't even want to try anything else! All the ingredients are so fresh and the bacon is insanely flavorful and crispy. If you order the fries get a side of their sauce with it. What a treasure after a hike at Lake 22, my husband and I found this spot. The food was plentiful a d reasonably priced. We worked up and appetite and ordered burgers, fries, onion rings and milkshakes. Our eyes were bigger than our stomach to say the leat and the portions were quite large. We really enjoyed the ambiance of the old school Americana. We will definitely recommend to others in that area. read more

I returned to Nutty's two more times recently. The parking lot has become more difficult to find a place to park now. I'm actually happy they have become increasingly popular. Returning to this place for one of the best experiences I've had finding a Top Line burger in the Pacific North West. Unfortunately the last 2 times I have returned, the quality has gone down and is notably lower than when I had first tried the place. In January, I tried the top burger Trunk Junk. It was thrown together in a rushed fashion and noticed when they build it without care, the spread is not covering the but, and there are noticeable dry patches and it really does affect the first bite of a, now, dry burger taste. Once I got into it, the burger started to taste the way it should with the expected flavor that caused me to still like this place. I gave them a pass on this and chalked it up on the were busy. When I asked the Lead cook on duty, he said they make 100's burgers a day, that this can happen. Didn't offer to remake it, just gave me that excuse, and moved on. I returned again in mid-April, and tried the Trunk Junk again, in high hopes they would have gone back to what made them a place to seek out. Nutty's was packed even more so now and had to wait for a spot to park. I was very happy to do that, as I know that usually means, they have it cleaned up with building a burger. They were busy in the kitchen, and I could see the fun energy that chef crew used to have, is clearly not there anymore. They were working hard, and not trading remarks. What happened next fell right into line with what I was noticing in the kitchen. They brought the burger and it looked amazing, as it had in the past. Then the moment came, I took a bite looking for the flavor of the smoked bacon, perfectly sauteed mushrooms, and sweet grilled onions. I was so let down on that first bite and each one after that. There was little to no flavor at all. The had not seasoned the mushroom, onions or meat with anything. Even the grease had no flavor. It was very reminiscent of hospital food. Everything was really bland. I had to grab some ketchup to try and add some flavor to what was one of the best burgers I had tasted in the PNW. This thing was bordering a bad burger. I was not ready for this at all. Something has happened to this place and the food does NOT taste the way it used too last year. I may come back in a few months if I'm driving by, but I will not make a special trip here as they have dropped in quality considerably now, twice tried in 4 months. Sorry Nutty, you're off the list of top burgers in the PNW. Hope you change back to how you started the place. A friend recommended this place while up at Arlington for a baseball tournament. Had a couple hours to wait until our next game so we tried this place. Food was awesome! Burger was fabulous. Onion rings are enormous and delicious. Fries also very good. Some drawbacks: limited seating and food took quite a while to come out so not a great place if you're in a hurry (unless maybe you call in an order). Wow! What a treasure to find in Arlington!!!! There are limited places in Arlington beside fast food! So when searching for a burger house we discovered Nutty's! There menu is just as fun as their decor! You will be caught up in both! With its Garage style building with rollup doors, old trucks, gas pumps and more you will have lots of photo ops! The roll-up doors also provide for great ventilation! The menu is all car themed and lots of fun! As for the burger! Wow fresh hand formed patties, delicious bacon, excellent choices of pickles and veggies and can I say saucy!!! There was no skimping here!!! Their French fries are hand cut and an enormous serving! Enough for 2 people! The parking is tight here, so try to come at an off time. They are running your order to your car so you don't have to stand around and wait. We used one of their picnic tables. Unfortunately they are dirty and not being wiped down between customers. There is nothing offered to clean the tables yourself either. Covid or no Covid this was gross and could be done better. We have ridden by this place so many times and a few months ago finally stopped in for a burger in the middle of a 50 mile bike ride. We loved it so much that it has become our go to place for lunch on our rides. Today their cook called in sick so they were scrambling to keep up. Sunny day, great food, fun atmosphere...the line went out the door...but we all waited patiently because the food is that good. And wow - despite not having their main cook, nobody seemed frazzled. Same great food and service as usual, just a wee bit slower. Amazing how a heartfelt sign out front explaining the situation could unite us all in the adventure. Kudos to each employee AND to all my fellow customers. It was a 10 star experience. read more

Worth a drive for the nostalgic experience. Nutty's Junkyard Grill was a nice find on a drive to Arlington. We were on our way to visit family and decided to scope the area for possible lunch spots using the Yelp App. Judging from the pictures and their Facebook page, we thought it was worth checking out. Located 15 minutes away from exit 208, this old style mechanic's garage turned into a burger grill is right on the corner of 67th and 204th. This place is also close to the centennial trail and is a popular bike stop for hungry riders. The interior boasts a collection of hub caps, gas signs, license plates, and other novelty items. A classic Ford Truck sits in the middle of the area with the rear platform transformed into a giant table ideal for groups. Ordering was simple, prices were reasonable, and staff was very helpful. I tried the Green Torino (Anaheim pepper, jack cheese, cilantro mayo, lettuce, tomato, pub bun, bacon) with a side of fries and a classic bottled soda. The burger was made fresh and the mixture of anaheim peppers and cilantro mayo was fantastic. The fries was large enough to share and served fresh out of the fryer. They have a decent selection of classic sodas and my hankering for something other than coke was satisfied with a bottle of Dad's root beer. I would definitely return to try out their milkshakes. Maybe be a little more adventurous and get a group together to bike up centennial trail and make this our pit stop. read more

We went here on Wednesday evening, it was adorable and we loved the atmosphere and design. They were out of banana milkshake -the real reason I came. I got fish and chips, burgers and onion rings, fish and chips are huge! Burgers had great flavor BUT everything was overly greasy.. I couldn't even eat my onion rings because they were dripping canola oil- soggy! The burger had so much sauce it slid apart was an absolute mess sadly. Yum!! First time but not the last was the consensus! Their milkshakes are to die for! We shared a caramel one it was smooth and rich. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty! The onion rings we huge and cooked just right! The Trunk Junk burgers are huge and super tasty! The bacon had just the right amount of crisp! Hand cut fries and deep fried mushrooms were a hit with everyone. This would be five stars for me except for seating, I currently have a knee brace and over 75% of their seating is old soda fountain stools. I love looking at all the license plates and old school decor. We will definitely be back again soon! read more
