I can't believe I haven't reviewed Nutty's yet! Guys. This place is SO GOOD. We will drive 30 minutes to eat here no problem. The burgers are always amazing and the onion rings are next level! My favorite is the Green Torino! It comes with Anaheim peppers, jack cheese, cilantro mayo and the best bacon ever. The flavors are something I've never had on a burger before and I can't help but get it every time we go. My husband has tried a few different burgers like the Shelby Bleu and Trunk Junk. The Trunk Junk is HUGE. It's a delicious 1/2 lb. patty (compared to 1/3 lb. on the other burgers) topped with sauteed onions and mushrooms, cheese, and bacon. Definitely come hungry for that one. If you like onion rings, GET THEM. They're beer battered and amazing. They have hand cut fries here and while I'm not a fan of that style of fry, my husband loves them. The inside is really cool. My husband being a car guy totally geeks out in there with all of the old car and truck decor. The employees working the counter have always been really friendly even when they're slammed. Tried this place for the first time a few months ago and love it! The decor is so cool, the staff is crazy busy, but friendly! The best hand wanted shakes I've had an a very long time the burgers huge me and my husband shared, and it was big enough super fresh they make it when you order it. Service was very friendly. Great Rubin sandwich and my companions who had burgers love them too. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was a clean rotary engine block and "piston". I've driven by a few times, and once tried to park but there weren't any open spots. Between the drive thru barista and small lot it can be a challenge but it is worth it! The garage-themed restaurant offers a simple menu. A few burger choices, a couple of sides, and some milkshake flavors. There are also chicken options and fish and chips. Enough variety to satisfy most people. There are a few tables inside although my favorite is the back of a flatbed truck where an engine sits on top. Fun decor to keep you entertained while waiting for food. During nicer days they will open the garage doors. I ordered the big block burger. It is a third pound, but the bun is pretty large and stacked with toppings. Doesn't sound bad at first but the meat gets a little lost with a thin patty. I'll get a half-pound patty next time. Hickory bacon was thick with a little crisp to it. The beer battered onion rings are huge and perfectly fried. Their own sauce for dipping had a smoky flavor and pairs well. My all time favorite burger spot, and a hidden gem in Arlington, Washington. With a friendly environment and a vintage aesthetic featuring antique cars, neon signs, and old bikes and wagons it's a museum in itself. Aside from the wonderful arrangement of the place, the food is absolutely perfect! The sizes of the meals are plentiful and the burgers are the best I've had. I've been here about three times over about 5 years and they are very consistent which is hard to find around here. I had a burger, fries, and an Oreo shake today and everything was perfect. I went with my family today and I need to add that they are very meticulous foodies...frequently leaving places disappointed as the meal could have been made better at home, they didn't have a single complaint. read more

This mechanic-shop-turned-eatery is a visual feast of automotive paraphernalia ranging from an ACTUAL FLATBED TRUCK turned table to a modified phone booth for the employee only entrance. Oh, and you are here to eat, remember? Not to stop and stare. I perused the menu, and landed on Trunk Junk which seemed like clogged arteries to me. We thought about 1 or 2 orders of fries. We're idiots: chose 2. Everything is handcrafted and hand cut, even the fries. My bro picked the Smoke Out. After seeing other patrons, we didn't even entertain a milkshake. The guy I am dating loves burgers and knows the area, so we stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to split a Trunk Junk burger, onion rings, and chocolate shake. The burger was one of the best I have had in the Pacific Northwest. My date said the place uses locally-sourced beef. It was good! I am not ordinarily a fan of onion rings, but the batter was perfect. And let's just say I've never had a bad chocolate shake in all my life. Finding a table can be a challenge, because the place is popular. Food can also take a while to arrive, but it's worth it. The decorations in the place are a lot of fun. My wife and I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat. Free parking can be found in the very small parking lot. Visa and MasterCard are accepted forms of payment. Orders are placed and paid for at the front counter. Menu is à la carte. Friendliness is minimal at best here. Waiter service consists of dropping ordered meal off at ones table. Indoors is an old mechanic's shop that has been converted to a restaurant. It was fun to view so many old relics of the past. Nutty's was packed with families during our visit. Nutty's runs a short-order kitchen so expect greasy food. Very greasy. My wife and I shared a hand dipped chocolate milkshake for $4.99. The milkshake was thick, creamy and tasty. My wife ordered the half pound of Fish & Chips for $11.99. The fish portions were quite large. The fries were hand cut. I ordered the Trunk Junk burger for $8.49: bacon, cheese, sauteed onions, sauteed mushrooms, lettuce, tomato and secret sauce. The burger was huge and flavorful. We should have shared. I also ordered a side of Onion Rings for $3.50. Absolutely flavorless. Overall, Nutty's was a fun dining stop for us. I do not foresee ever stopping here again in the future due to the lack of friendliness and overly greasy food. read more

This is what a burger joint is supposed to be. Fantastic themed. Garage door opened on nice days, old fashioned tin trash cans like you would find in a car shop, the entire menu worded for cars ( Fluids instead of drinks,etc). Just well presented. I love the theme, the names of the burgers, the staff, EVERYTHING! We got this as a recommendation from a friend and see why it's their favorite. Ordering was simple enough. Ordered then waited in the car. My burger was nice and juicy. To me, that's the best part of a good burger, the meat sweat! After the meat sweat, the flavor itself was awesome. I opened the container with my onion rings to find MEGA GARGANTUAN DINOSAUR ONION RINGS! They were HUGE! That put an instant smile on my face. All of the food was tasty. This burger was delicious, filling and with the addition of the pepper and flavorful bacon, it was very satisfying. The onion rings were big, they crispy on the outside with a wonderful sweet onion on the inside. Perfect with their tartar sauce. Shared their fries with the family, very flavorful, and they did not last long. The could stand to be a bit more crispy, but they seemed to be hand cut and fresh, so perhaps that is why. I also tried their raspberry milkshake. It was thick, with real berries. The four of us very much enjoyed our meal here. The line was a little long but the people behind the counter were so great that it took hardly no time at all. We each got a Two-Barrel with no substitutions! I however don't eat bread so I just removed it myself. We also got an order of onion rings. The onion rings were big and good but definitely needed some salt, we probably wouldn't get them again. The burger though. I would eat that thing every single night of the week and still be happy. It's the way you expect a diner burger patty to taste and it did not disappoint! I'm not in Arlington a lot, but I do remember years ago I went to this restaurant with my dad. He loved it and as I recall I really liked it too. Then today I was working at one of our satellite offices up in Arlington and everyone decided to order take out from this place that they kept on calling, "The Junkyard". I decided to trust that it wasn't a real junkyard that they were ordering food from and jumped in with both feet ordering a BLT and fries. First of all, everyone in this office loves the "Junkyard". There wasn't one person in the office who passed on ordering their lunch there today. After eating half of my ginormous BLT I decided that I love it too. I especially loved their special dipping sauce for the fries and the tartar sauce. YUM YUM TARTAR SAUCE! The BLT was piled with bacon, the bread was sour dough - which is the perfect bread for a BLT; it was basically sandwich nirvana. Their fries are a little soft, but not icky soft. They're just a different style than I'm used to, they were still delicious. Their onion rings are to die for. It wasn't until I searched this Junkyard place on Yelp to write a review that I recognized the restaurant and realized that dad and I went there a few years ago. Basically, this place is perfect. 3.5 stars. This review is for trunk junk burger $9.26 included tax. Basically it is half pound patty wth cheese, bacon sauté onion and onion. The patty was not dry but not that juicy. The bun was super soft but nothing special. For this price, I think it is pricy competing to in N out in cali which has much better juicier patty. read more

There is no way to post a review about food because they're never open. Their website says they're open and the apps say they're open but you go there and they have a sign on the door that they closed early or They're closed for the day or something like that, so I tried calling him because it's Wednesday and they're supposed to be open till eight and I'm told they closed at 3:30. Why do they even bother to have business hours? I give up, I'm not gonna try anymore. This really should be a zero because it's like they don't exist. read more
