Thank you Brandon for taking out my smart meter and putting in my requested digital meter. I will now pay a very small fee each month to have my meter read by a meter reader. I am now considered an opt out customer. This was a very big decision for me to choose to have my smart meter removed and replaced with a digital meter. This meter will read for both gas and electricity. Brandon was outstanding at his job and I enjoyed talking with him, he has been with NV energy for 14 years. The install took around 20 minutes and I am really happy for the digital meter as a NV Energy new opt out customer. Thanks to NV Energy & Brandon S for great service. This is my first home and I chose this meter for accurate account of what gas & electricity I use daily. OK,, everyone expects friendly and professional…read moreservice from all employees of a company trying to get your business; so,, everyone I had contact with at Sol-Up went beyond this expectation !!! Matt, the sales Rep was my first contact. He explained everything, and, it all worked out just as he said. He said Sol-Up would take care of everything, and they did ! Permits, city inspections, electric company inspections, HOA paperwork and of course the installation itself,,, they take care of everything; they even paint the exterior box to the color of your building !! And the Powerwall 3 is a marvel of convenience and engineering. A lot of thought went into its design.. After 6 months,, I'm still impressed !!! Now,, my motivation to have solar installed is the electric company itself. You see, I could not understand why my home lost electric power when there was a fire/disturbance miles away. The electric company Rep told me their power transmission system was singular, they don't have the capability to shutdown individual power lines,, they have to shut down everything !!! So, the Powerwall 3 allievates their antique system with that shortcoming since I now have battery backup power for my entire house !! Spoke with their office folks, who sent out a representative to assess the condition, and prepare a strategy to make the system bird proof. I want to thank technician, Chris Godwin, for helping us resolve our AC problem involving the NEST…read morethermostat. I mentioned to Chris that something went awry after we tried to secure the cover of the Nest thermostat (it was loose from the wall). The AC had worked before but after doing something with the cover, the AC stopped working. Chris quickly found the problem (a fuse had blown out). Chris was very professional, gave me some ideas on a Honeywell thermostat (we're not BIG fans of the new NEST thermostat), showed me how to read the error codes on our furnace (watch the number of red light flashes and compare it to the brochure left with the furnace). It was easy, peasy, even someone like me who has no HVAC experience could do this. I can't thank Chris enough for his great personality, true professionalism, answered my questions, taught me a few things (learning something new is always good) and even loved on my 2 labs (turns out we both love animals). Corruption at it's finest. I have part of their home program for years paying faithfully. They came…read moreout for a routine AC review and I didn't buy an upgrade they wanted (unit is 6 years old). They then would not certify that my AC unit was working correctly. Within an hour of departure the unit stopped working. They sent same man back that evening, he got it to work then an hour later, no longer working. Next they sent someone else out who said it just had to be our breaker which I doubted. Still I updated new breaker and the AC unit stopped working again. I have asked to speak to manager. The operator takes my messages and I have never received a returned calls, two weeks later still no call. They were suppose to send out an emergency tech. No one has showed up. Called and couldn't get any response other than the woman who answer phone. What a joke. **Update** I am revising my score. I finally received a phone call this morning to discuss my situation and we agreed on the next steps. They were very apologetic but its sad it had to come to this to get a response.
