I met with Laura Morales Garcia on Labor Day and she was awesome! I found the car I wanted on line but I was reluctant to get rid of my old car because I was very attached. Laura was easy to work with, knowledgeable, very patient and made the process very simple. Love my new car! Thanks again!! -Carlos Martinez

It does exist.... Mine so dumb I hope they pick it because it's the best Buying a car is usually something I dread but Ray made this one genuinely fun andd stress free. From the start I felt taken care of and never pressured. He kept me laughing the entire time and somehow turned the process into a really positive experience. First time thats ever happened. Lol I finally ended up with the truck I have wanted for a long time the only problem now is figuring out how to climb into it. Honestly this was the best car buying experience I have had and Ray is the reason why. You'll also be happy to know there's a really good restaurant next door so you're not starving the entire time. My burger was 10/10. Guys gotta eat right?!

I have been buying cars from Galpin for more than a decade now. I have always trusted their pricing, customer service and overall treatment of customers. My last five cars, my now 22 year old daughter's first car, plus another five from friends, have been bought from Dev Shehani, easily the best car salesman I've ever worked with. In fact, the only time I haven't bought from him was when it was a brand Galpin doesn't carry. And even then, I tried to get him involved. If it is a brand that Galpin serves, Dev is my first call. If it is a brand that they don't, I check to see if Dev/Galpin has a late model used before I buy new elsewhere...then I call Dev and apologize for not buying from him. He's become my first call...and not just for me, I'm ALWAYS glad to refer friends to Dev, because I know that he will treat them like family. Honestly, if there were more stars to give, I would...Dev is 10-star, without a doubt.

Went in to see this pink Mustang. I drive over an hour because it was in my price range according to what I saw online here. I get there and it's marked up to 60k due to customizations. Complete waste of my time. New 2026 models, 4-cylinder are going for 31k. Explain to me why 60k would ever make sense. Bait/switch, pricing was never clarified over the phone. Although my salesman was nice I do feel misled as I was very excited to see this car.

Shopping for cars can be misery. Just go to Galpin Ford and you won't be miserable. We were shopping for 3 cars over a series of a week and all but Galpin Ford was getting on my last nerve. We tried our local Ford dealer in Culver City and at least there the salesman admitted he knew zero about the most expensive car on the lot, the Ford EV ( Ford F-150 Lightning). The valley Ford dealership was just rude, big mistake as we were about to spend 80K in a matter of hours. We went to Galpin Ford on Roscoe and it was a drive for us, but we are so happy we did. Santos was our salesman and he knew everything about the Ford F-150 Lightning EV, I mean everything and he had more than one. We test drove it and loved it. It is for my husband and that was the only time I got to drive it, but that is fine the passenger and back seats are ever so comfortable. This truck has everything you could ever want. Santos spent hours with us. I was also looking at the Ford SUV EV, but was talked into a Tesla. What junk. As soon as I can rid myself of that I will be back to Galpin Ford to get the SUV I wanted in the first place. We were never pressured or rushed. We were spending a lot of money and had to at least ponder. We were so happy with Santos. We bought the truck and the staff there was great. Getting out of the final sales usually takes hours, this did not. We don't like debt and saved and saved for this Ford F-150 Lightning and they did not mind one bit that they made nothing on finance (that is a money stream for them and they have great financing, but we wanted to be done) as we paid by check. Oh, and other Ford dealers want you to wait days for the check to clear before they hand over the car and sign a contract for an absurd amount of money. They just checked both our credit ratings, called my bank and away we went. I mean really, writing a bad check for that amount is a felony and when you have our credit rating it is pretty clear we are not going to break the law, not to mention they know where you live and they can find their truck. Besides you have to have your drivers license just to test drive it, of course. They even had the color we wanted and we spent forever deciding on one of two very similar colors. Santos understood. They even have an adorable diner to eat at and we have been there more than one. What more can you want. The service department is great. We have been just this week for a frame for our front plate. We have had it serviced for something minor and get this, they pick up your car and return it to you. No one does that. It is free. And they show up on time. Santos taught my husband and I everything about the computer and the way to best use this truck. He said, if you need more help come back and I will show you all again. Of course we got confused. It is information overload. my husband went back the next week and Santos spent 2 hours with him showing him everything. It is a great truck with the best features so it is worth the money. We are now going to be Galpin Ford owners for the rest of our lives. My Tesla sucks and my brand new BMW EV is just so so. There is nothing like this truck or any of the other Ford cars we drove. Just go there and save the headache.

Thank you so much Ray! We love our new family car. Got us an amazing deal, and didn't waste our time. We worked everything out over the phone and just went in to sign. Once again, THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!

Salesperson : David Martin David was a most excellent and communicative salesperson. He gave genuine client service while helping us buy our brand new Ford Heritage Bronco. I can't say enough wonderful things about David and the job he did. He listened to what we were looking for , worked on our application thoroughly , and even stayed until midnight making sure we finished with the finance dept, then made sure our new car was perfect for us to drive away in ! We will be back on our next purchase and well for sure send all family to David at Galpin Ford. He helped us get exactly what we wanted and was helpful every step of the process. Perfect client service and his honesty & transparency made it a top level experience. If you're looking to buy a car , call David Martin at Galpin, he'll take care of everything.

An unbelievably amazing service experience. I didn't expect this. I'm in Santa Clarita and my local Ford dealer is an absolute disaster and they have been since the beginning of time. I am not taking my vehicle to them. So I decided to give Galpin Ford a shot. Easy drop off after hours on a Sunday. Their security person checked me in and couldn't have been more professional. The following morning at 7:30 a.m. I was contacted by Steve, my service advisor. He had an estimate and I had them proceed with the repairs. I'm shocked because not only did I get a direct line to Steve, I had a direct number I could text him. Communication was effortless and I was always responded back to within minutes. The repairs were completed quickly. I had some problems with the warranty not showing in the system. This is the fault of another Ford dealer where I purchased the vehicle. I worked to straighten that out and Steve kept communicating with me and told me they would hold the car until I got it resolved or I could pay in full. I ended up getting this worked out with the other dealer. Picked up my vehicle. All the work was done as promised. Galpin Ford was super efficient and very customer service oriented. I was in and out quickly and never sitting around waiting. Honestly, I couldn't be more impressed. read more

I called trying to schedule a general maintenance/upkeep appointment. I spoke with Paul at the BDC service office and he was extremely unhelpful and made everything more complicated and convoluted than it had to be. I wanted to bring my car in for its 85,000 mile service but Paul kept insisting that they could not do an inspection and tell me what was wrong with my car and that I had to know what needed fixing before bringing my car in. He even suggested contacting the place I had last brought my car to to have them tell me what needed to be fixed. I said no it's not my job to tell you what needs fixing, I'm not a mechanic. He then likened it to going to a doctors office, saying "you wouldn't go to the doctors if something wasn't wrong." I said "yes I would, that's what annual wellness visits are for." Then finally he said "ok I think I know what you want." And let me schedule the appointment. This conversation took half an hour. Absolute waste of time. I don't understand why he made that so complicated. If Galpin Ford simply doesn't do maintenance service then he should just say that instead of trying to gaslight me into thinking they're not a thing and if they in fact don't do general maintenance service then I think it's quite scammy because then it forces costumers to allow their vehicles to deteriorate and require more expensive repairs. read more

I had the absolute best experience working with Robert Magaña on my new Genesis! From start to finish, Robert made the entire process incredibly easy, comfortable, and stress-free. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely made sure I was happy with everything before driving off. This was easily one of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had. Robert went above and beyond and made getting my new Genesis feel exciting instead of overwhelming. I couldn't be happier with my new car or the service I received. If you're looking for someone who truly takes care of his clients, I highly recommend asking for Robert. Thank you again for such an amazing experience! read more

This cheap dealer for the last 4 years since I bought my truck ,they have been giving me a complimentary ride home. Today I came for my oil change and they refused to give me a ride home while the car is serviced, they said that for the last 2 years they don't do that but its a lie because they gave me a ride last œil changes I have done in 4 years. Until this day they still send me notices offering me to actually come and pick up my truck for service which I am sure it would be a even bigger lie. You can't just stop offering something you always have without a notice otherwise I would have arranged something with a different option. NOT GOOD THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION CHEAP BASTARDS!!! read more

Another wonderful experience at Galpin Ford. We turned in one truck and left with a new Expedition. Our Salesman Adrian Ballesteros and the manager Eric Ragland made the entire transaction easy, transparent and fluid. My amazing Wife, our 4 children and I thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant onsite for a bit while the team was working their magic. We are completely pleased with our purchased, the cleanliness of our new car, the dealership and all the staff we interacted with at Galpin Ford. Thank you so much for everything. Other notable mentions are Cheryl Castanoli and Tim Mendenhall, very nice people. Thank you for everything and see y'all again next time! read more

Lester at Galpin Ford of North Hills gave me truly 10/10 customer service. I came in without an appointment because my car was showing issues related to a repair I had done at Classic Collision down the street, and Lester was incredibly kind, thorough, communicative, and helpful from start to finish. What I appreciated most was that he took the lead in communicating directly with Classic Collision so I did not have to act as the middleman. He made the whole process feel easy and stress-free, and he made sure I would not be responsible for paying for the faulty loose door latch that came with that repair. Lester made me feel like my safety genuinely mattered to him. He took the time to make sure my car was safe to drive and that everything was handled the right way. He even took the time to ensure any recall alerts that my vehicle had were resolved same day. That level of care and professionalism is rare, and I'm very grateful for how well he treated me. Highly recommend asking for Lester if you need help. read more

I went in with my father to look at an F-150 Shelby since he's deciding on his next vehicle purchase. We were assisted by Andre, who was polite, professional, and very helpful throughout the visit. After seeing the truck in person, we honestly were not impressed with the quality. My father decided he wanted to think about it and grab lunch nearby before making any decisions. Before we left, Andre brought over his manager, Carlos, who seemed to assume the issue was the price point. The price was never the problem -- we had already done our research and understand the market pricing for F-150 Shelbys. What was disappointing was Carlos's attitude and approach. My father simply said, "Let me go get some lunch first and I'll be back." Carlos responded with an authoritative attitude saying, "The deal is now -- if you leave, the deal is gone." The problem with that statement is there never really was a deal presented. More importantly, high-pressure tactics are not what make a dealership stand out. Customer service does. You are not the only dealership selling these trucks. What sets businesses apart is how customers are treated. Andre did a great job, but Carlos's approach completely changed the experience. Do better, Carlos. read more

If I can leave a negative review, I would. It's been so hard to get any communication/updates from the financial department. That guy who sold me the car was great, loved him. The financial guy, Sam. I wish I can say the same thing but can't. I been trying to get someone(preferably manager) to call me back but nothing. Some guy stepped in Victor who was supposedly gonna help us since Sam won't... but nothing. I been texting and calling with no response back. I'm disappointed. I had high hopes going into this dealership. I'd been looking at different trucks for a while and was finally ready to make a decision. A friend recommended Galpin because of their 10-year warranty. I went in with a positive mindset but left with such a sour taste. The salesman I dealt with was rude, aggressive, dismissive, and disrespectful. They kept trying to upsell me into a lifted F-250 XLT with all of their accessories tacked on. They were never straight with their numbers, and whenever I tried to get exact out-the-door pricing, they would tell me I wasn't serious enough about buying to warrant giving me those numbers. I've never had such a combative buying experience. I literally walked in ready to purchase a truck and left because, according to their salesperson, I wasn't committed enough to buying one. Baffling. I ultimately went with South Bay Ford. Patrick, their fleet manager, was incredibly helpful, and once I saw transparent pricing, it became clear how much Galpin was trying to take me for a ride and why they were so secretive about providing numbers. The whole experience felt slimy and dishonest. Afterward, I looked into the service departments and realized the 10-year warranty is largely a gimmick to get people in the door. Judging by the reviews, you're then tied to dealing with their poorly reviewed service department for years. No thank you. Save yourself the headache. read more

I had a great experience purchasing my car at Galpin Ford! Once I requested information about the car I was contacted the next day. I requested communications via text only due to my work schedule, and Laura went out of her way to record and send me a video of the car, window sticker, and the features it had. This was a 2 hours drive for me (without traffic!) , and I gladly did it because of how helpful and friendly Laura was. The whole process was stress-free. Wouldn't trust this dealership as far as I could throw them. Besides horrible service experience they pulled a nice little trick. When there was a $7500 tax credit for EV. I was supposed to get it when filing. Leased electric cars or plug-in hybrids from dealerships are considered "commercial vehicles" under IRS regulations. This means that the full $7,500 tax credit goes to the company that leased it to you, which is usually the automaker's captive finance arm. Don't buy a car there. Shady business is a continuous effort. read more

Stopped by yesterday to look at some Mavericks. Mason was a cool guy. Took me to see some cars. He introduced me to Santos, the manager. Every year Galpin Motors hosts a car show/block party as an appreciation to the community. The event is free and features a variety of cars: classics, exotics, modern supercars, and even cars from tv shows. It was my first time attending, even though this was the 10-year anniversary. I was surprised with how big the event was. There were about 1,000 vehicles on display across nine separate locations along Roscoe Blvd. There were activities for the kids, food trucks, a lowrider hop competition, and Horseless Carriage was open for business. I spent about 3 1/2 hours walking to each lot and checking out all the cool cars. My favorites are the classic Mustangs & Shelby Cobras. It was a fun way to spend the day. I'm looking forward to next year. *Designated parking lots with shuttle service but rideshare highly suggested. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service and, more importantly, the lack of communication at Galpin Ford. I dropped my car off last Tuesday for an alignment and a diagnostic. I was told the diagnostic would be run by Thursday. I specifically asked my service advisor, Monica, to keep both me and my dad updated. When Thursday came and went, neither of us heard anything. I called twice and requested a callback but never received one. Instead, Monica contacted my dad to say the diagnostic would now be run on Friday. By Friday at around 4 PM, we still hadn't heard anything. I called two more times and requested a manager to call me back. Again, no response. Later, Monica contacted my dad to say the diagnostic would now not be run until Monday. By Saturday, I had been without a vehicle for several days, so I called to request a loaner. I also asked for a manager to call me back. I missed that return call and tried calling back twice, but no one answered. At that point, the communication breakdown was severe and extremely frustrating. I called again this morning and requested my vehicle back because I could no longer deal with the lack of updates. I asked to speak to a manager and stated that I no longer wished to communicate through Monica, as I had repeatedly requested callbacks and never received one, yet she continued communicating through my dad. If I'm calling and requesting updates, I expect a direct response. Monica eventually called me around 10 AM saying diagnostics were being run. I told her I just wanted my car back after the diagnostic. She said she would call when it was ready. I called again at 2 PM, and it still was not ready. I was told the car is not ready for pick up, which is confusing since the diagnostic should already be done since i had already been told what part of the issue with my vehicle was. At this point i want my car back so i can take it somewhere it can actually be fixed at. The lack of communication and inability to reach anyone when you need answers is absolutely unacceptable. I understand that service departments get busy, but basic communication and follow-through should be standard. This entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I truly hope management addresses these communication issues so other customers don't experience the same situation. read more

Galpin Ford is a car dealership in SF Valley that sells new and pre-owned used vehicles. They have a wide variety of vehicles from Ford to Toyota to MB to Honda to Lexus etc. Moreover, they offer financing to their customers. I test drove one of their used Mustang '21 manual trans. And it was engaging than an automatic. The seats were comfortable and have plenty of technology safety features. Sales staff (Laz and Beverly) were affable, knowledgeable and professional. If you're down for a used vehicle this car dealer maybe for you. Overall, it's a nice car dealer. I'd definitely get one from them. read more

The salesman, Dev kept disappearing. It took more than 4 hours to complete our new lease. Ford no longer provides paper manuals. With the price of cars so high it's very cheap of Ford to do this. Our salesman has also not responded to email questions after promising he is 'here to help'. He even said he would come to us to help. There are apparently several screen and dashboard screen display options. None of which were explained to us. We could not even enter the name for an address we entered and saved in the navigation system. I went to the Ford website two times to ask how to do this. I did a chat with a person and each time I was given directions. Neither instructions worked. We were not even given the car window sticker so we could see exactly all of the car's features. This is the third Ford Escape we leased from Galpin. Our previous experiences were much better. I am very unhappy with both Galpin and Ford. I don't think we will lease another Ford, certainly NOT from Galpin read more

They have no idea how to run a service department. I took my truck in for a 10,000 service. came in, no appointment. they said they could take it. they said 2 hours, then they said 3, then 4. I got them to do it in 2, as it's only oil chg, full fluids, rotate tires... Then they did nothing, my truck sat untouched. 30 minutes later, I asked to see paperwork. they had it coded as a diesel, but it is gas. the service agent was embarrassed. I had them redo it. they got it in a service bay. I waited. at 2.4 hours I asked. The said the service agent had an accident and couldn't work with me any more. what kind of accident? They couldn't remember. Then they said I could have the truck if I signed these papers attesting to what work was done. Isaid I can't attest, I don't know. all I know they were late and they didn't wash the truck. a supervisor said California law requires I sign to get my truck back. I said are you going to keep my truck, not l give it back? He faltered. I said I've paid the bill. it's my truck. I'll call police. he said call them, so I called police. They began to panic and gave me my keys. they left. the young man replacement service agent remained. I said, they didn't even know my truck was gas, not diesel (off the VIN), they lied about why he was avoiding me, and California law does NOT require me to sign attesting to work done. I don't think there is any such law; they just want something where the customer says the work was done. But I don't know what they did. I was confronting those lies. I believe the people were incompetent, lied to me multiple times, and wanted me to go along with it. I have owned cars from Galpin before, but this is horrible. lying to customers? Not knowing how to code a car in for service? I am disgusted. read more

The most amazing service ever. Joseph Morand for the third time got me into the best car possible, a Ford Escape hybrid/ plug-in and the best financial deal too! I'm immensely enjoying this car and the relationship I have with Galpin Ford. (The car in this photo is almost identical to my car, but mine is a nice shade of silver. ) Thank you again Joseph and Galpin!! read more

Best car buying experience anybody could ask for and my purchase was extremely complicated! Daniel was patient, very knowledgeable and willing to help me find the vehicle that I wanted, which is very hard to find given the specific features I was looking for. Daniel is by far the best salesman I've ever met and I'm an actual customer! Daniel also went above and beyond. I asked for a certain interest rate. He ended up getting a lower one for me without even having me ask and beyond that the man is very honest! Never expected this type of service and I am beaming with gratitude! I've leased a Toyota and Jeep, but nothing comes close to my leasing experience with Galpin Ford. Carl is by far one of the best sales reps l've worked with. He was transparent from the start, able to answer any questions that came his way, knowledgeable about the vehicles and most importantly extremely KIND! Not many dealerships/dealers can navigate such a competitive job while showing care and grace. Bravo Carl! And a big THANK YOU! read more

I just bought a truck from Galpin and I had a great experience. I worked with Steve Demak on the sale. He helped me find the exact truck that I wanted at a great deal. He really went over and beyond and even followed up with me after to help me coordinate getting a spray bed liner installed. I highly recommend asking for Steve if you're looking for a new car or truck. read more

I had a very good experience at Galpin Genesis in Van Nuys. Robert Magaña was my person, and he was very helpful from beginning to end. He was also very welcoming when I scheduled a second visit to go over some of the features of the car. Very helpful. Overall, I felt very supported through process and I'm very happy with the purchase of my new vehicle. read more

Does anyone know if this dealer is marking up their vehicles during COVID/chip shortage?
Yes. But, it appears all dealerships are doing this to varying degrees and Galpin is marking up less than some others. Last week, there was a 2022 Escape on the Galpin lot that had just been transferred from Vista Ford and the Vista Ford "market…

galpin ford was recommended to me by my boss. he told me that mr. sank would try to get me a good deal. so i called in and he told me to come on in. when i got there mr sank pawned me of to a guy name sam. sam asked what i wanted to get. i told him i was looking for a yukon. he asked if i would try a flex. took me on a test drive.while on the drive i noticed the cars mirrors where stuck and i couldnt adjust them, sam told me i didnt know what i was doing. when we pulled in i said that was cool but what else you got. sam said follow me he lead me to a desk and started in on the flex ( this was after he stood right in front of my wife and i as he adjusted his genitals before he sat down) . i said hey its a cool car but i need to see a few more cars before i buy one. he freaked out and called mr sank on the phone. then sam handed me his phone and disappeared for 20 min. when i was leaving and entering my van, sam and mr.sank began to accost me raising their voices to the point of yelling. sam walked of and said give this to some one else i dont have time for this shit. mr sank started asking me wouldnt i like to have a large payment and keep my cash in my hand. i told him no i needed a small payment. i got tired of arguing with him and said i will be back later so he would leave me alone. finally he left with another customer he had waiting for a test drive. as i was pulling away teddy the first guy to approach me when i walked on the lot asked me to wait. i told him i wasnt going to be yelled at or forced to buy anything. he promised he would work with me. so we gave it a shot. everything was going great i drove a couple more cars and i actually ended up buying the first car i test drove that day. when we were in the middle of the deal mr sank came over to the office yelling and screaming. all the customers were staring at us, it was quite strange. i told mr sank that i would like to talk with teddy because he was calm and working with me. he never offered to help get me a better deal or anything he just got all upset about it being his deal. finally the sales manger walked mr sank into the office and he went away. once we finally decided on a car the sales manager kept trying to take it away for another customer that had just got there and i had been there for several hours. after i told him i didnt want light color interior laz tried to sell me two more with light color and didnt even make it a good deal. finally i told laz no we were taking the black one or nothing. he politely gave up and said good choice. then when we were trying to get all the paper signed in the finance office mr sank came in four times talking loud and getting up set about his commission. after he entered the office while i was out side getting some air my wife and ruth were in there alone and mr sank started in again. at that point i lost it. i felt like we were being bullied into this whole situation. i cant figure out how some ass that never did anything but insult us could be getting in on this. then i realized that this is how galpin does it. they try to intimidate and belittle you. then they send in the nice guy. why else would this other guy(mr sank be in on it). the whole time he kept coming in and out there computers were down so we were trapped. i finally lost my patients and said forget it i have been here for 10 hours and i dont feel right about this deal im sorry but i need to leave i want to cancel this sale. but did they respect my wishes no. they got about 10 people in the small office staring at me and started in on me pushing me into signing the papers because all of a sudden their computer was back up. did they ever say if you feel uncomfortable maybe you should reconsider the back out clause no they tried to sell me the maintenance plan by lowering the price a few bucks. they didnt say go home and think about it if you feel this way. so im freaking out and you add more to my bill. GALPIN MAKES ME SICK!!! oh and buy the way the mirror sam said i didnt know how to work is broken both mirrors dont work my DVDs dodnt work and theres a loud clicking noise coming from the wheels when you turn right. not to mention the car seems to be sucking down the gas like theres no tomorrow. the dash board says its getting 12.3 miles to the gallon after they say it should get 19-24 miles to the gallon. they dont even check the cars out before them put them on the lot. they just sell the car first and fix the problems and charge you a deductible for something they should of fix before they sold the car. now after spending 33,000 dollars i will have to take time off of work to get my certified preowned car fixed. i can say this is the absolute worst purchase i have ever been through. . read more

UPDATE - Both customer service people who were instrumental in helping us are no longer with the company. Today it is apparent that the front end work was never taken care of properly & they keep giving us the run around - you're fine, we have no loaner vehicles available, etc - in an apparent attempt to make the warranty run out without them making the purchase right. My daughter, a single mother with small children, needed a new safe vehicle. So we went into Galpin Motors the rainy week in April & test drove a pre-owned Lincoln SUV - we liked it but needed to look at some others before making our decision. We went back days later to test drive again & negotiate the $14,000.00 price. The salesperson came back with paperwork for $13,800.00 for us to take to the bank for the loan. We told him that if we could get it for $13,500.00 - we would definitely take it. We also told him that it needed an alignment before we purchased. He came back with the verbal ok for $13,500.00 & we told him we would be back on Tuesday to make the actual purchase. We were tired & did not want to wait around to generate yet another set of paperwork. He reminded us that it may not be there on Tuesday - but we told him that if it sold over the weekend - then it wasn't meant to be ours. In the interim, among the various people we contacted in our vehicle search, was a referral to a car broker - theoretically, you tell them what car you want, how much you are willing to pay for it & they find it for you. Originally, the car broker was adamant about getting us to lease a brand new vehicle - but when he realized that he was not going to talk either one of us into that - and upon learning that the vehicle also came with a 12 month warranty - he finally took interest in the one we were interested in purchasing. He told us he had a contact that he works with at Galpin Ford & would try to get us a better price than the $14,000.00. Tuesday morning before we went in to purchase - we called him to see what price he was able to negotiate. He told us that we had to purchase through his contact - Cheryl Castagnoli - in order to get the best price & quoted us $13,800.00. He told us - per Cheryl - that they had already put too much money into the vehicle & just wanted it gone. Here's where I made my mistake: I told him we'd already done better with the salesperson that we were working with & thanked him for his time. I should have kept my mouth shut. When we did go in to make the purchase the paperwork was still at the $13,800.00 price - so we told him to please go generate the correct paperwork on our verbally agreed upon price of $13,500.00. After a long period - he came back with another person who showed us that the price of the vehicle had just been changed to $14,640.00 (possibly $14,650.00). I am certain that was Cheryl's doing because she is the head of the fleet department. A regular salesperson has to get permission with every negotiation - which is what takes forever. As it was only a $300.00 difference & we were already exhausted by the entire ordeal - we went ahead & made the purchase in mid-April - but that does not mitigate the underhanded business tactics that we experienced at Galpin. They say hell hath no wrath like a woman scorned - apparently this woman has no problem circumventing her co-workers either! This is now the last week of May - the vehicle had to go in for another alignment on Wednesday & on Thursday the car overheated - leaving my daughter stranded on the side of the freeway. UPDATE: The saving grace of Galpin Motors is the Lincoln Service Center across the street. John Gasparian is the supervisor & Brenda Alvarenga is the person who went above & beyond to ensure that our negative experience with Galpin Motors turned into a positive one! I really hope that the dealership takes into account all the litigation & legal fees Brenda has saved the company in addition to saving its reputation! read more

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to share my recent service experience at Galpin Ford, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations in terms of customer service. I purchased my 2017 ford mustang eco boost from a Lexus dealership in December of last year. Within two months, I began experiencing issues with the horn. Shortly after that, I had to bring the vehicle back due to problems with idling while parked or driving. A week later, the same issue recurred, and I once again returned the vehicle for service. After three visits to the original dealership with no resolution, I decided to take my vehicle to Galpin Ford, hoping for better results. I had my car towed in on a Monday for a scheduled service appointment on Tuesday. Upon arrival, I asked to speak with my service advisor, Michelle Goertz , to express my concerns and frustrations. Unfortunately, the interaction was disappointing. When I approached her, she was unwelcoming and continued typing on her computer as I attempted to explain the issues with my vehicle. There was no eye contact or acknowledgment of the inconvenience I had been going through. When I asked if I could share the full background of my vehicle's issues, she responded, "Is this a quick question? Because I'm finishing up work on my lunch." I was unaware she was on break, as I had been informed she was available. Regardless, I expected a more professional and empathetic approach considering the situation. Throughout the service process, communication was lacking. I was not informed when diagnostics were performed or given clear updates. I had to call for status updates and was only told vaguely that there was a misfire on cylinder 3. There was little explanation about the repair process. Additionally, I asked about a rental vehicle, as I have third-party warranty coverage. Michelle told me I would need to contact my warranty provider. When I did, they informed me that Galpin should be able to arrange the rental. I called Michelle again, and she simply said "no" without any explanation. When I asked for clarification, she told me that due to post-COVID policy changes, they no longer offer that service. I wish this had been communicated more clearly and professionally from the beginning. When my vehicle was ready, I was handed an invoice with no detailed explanation of the repairs. I'm not familiar with service documents and expected someone to walk me through the work that was done. Michelle did not offer to do this. Fortunately, another advisor named John kindly explained the repairs to me and provided the clarity I needed. I really appreciated his help and professionalism -- I just wish I had received the same level of service from my assigned advisor. On a positive note, I am happy that my vehicle was repaired promptly and now runs smoothly. The turnaround time -- from Monday drop-off to Friday pickup -- was impressive, and I'm thankful the issue was resolved. However, despite the successful repair, the overall customer service experience was extremely disappointing. I did not feel welcomed, valued, or well-informed throughout the process. Due to this, I will not be returning to Galpin Ford for future service needs. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I hope this helps improve the experience for other customers in the future. Sincerely, Jennifer Martinez read more

Smiling all the way from Chicago! I had an interesting experience. I live in a suburb of Chicago, and I recently (last week) purchased a 2013 Ford Edge Limited. I'm in love!!! Just one tiny thing drove me crazy! I could not for the life of me figure out how to open my hatchback with my remote. I felt sooo dumb! I checked out YouTube videos, actually read the owners manual (oh, no!) and even asked my husband!!! Our 1993 Explorer had it. Our 2004 Sienna had it. Surely, a car that seems like it can communicate with Saturn should have a remote access lift gate! My Hubbie took one look at the remote key thingy and said here's the problem, there is no button on the remote to open a lift gate. WHAT??? No! It can't be as simple as that. There must be something I'm not doing right. I called the dealership where I purchased the car. They couldn't figure it out over the phone. They asked me to bring her in. So off I flew. I felt like a idiot pulling into a service bay to as a question about a button. My service tech was wonderful! He confirmed that my husband was RIGHT. My remote wasn't going to open any hatch lift gate since it didn't have a button on it. Well, my service tech found a remote with 5 icons rather than 4. He programmed it for me and I can now open my hatch remotely just as if it was 1993 all over again!!! Over dinner we were talking. Why would a car that had a power lift gate, and all the nice things the Limited model offers NOT have a button on either of the remotes that came with the car? We emailed our dealer where we bought it. Did not get a response yet. I tried to email Ford Corp. ended up chatting Steve from SYNC learned a few things, but nothing about my remote. I called Ford Corp. customer service. I asked if a 2013 Edge Limited should have a remote with 4 buttons or 5. She could not tell me. I hung up and tried again, hoping to get someone else who may know. The man on the phone was very nice but he did not know for sure. He suggested that I call my local dealership. Tried to call around locally. Was told I would have to speak to someone in service but they were closed for the night. I thought someone just has to know. Time to google dealerships in California! They are two hours behind me so maybe they are still open. I found Galpin Ford in North Hills, CA The website said they are the largest Ford Dealership in the world! ( They must be a little familiar with a Ford Edge LIMITED) As luck would have it MICHAEL PADILLA answered the phone. I explained my situation. He was sure my car should have it. He took my vin number so he could check it out for certain. He told me he would call me back in 20 minutes. When it took 30 minutes he apologized profusely. I didn't even notice. He was able to confirm that my vehicle should have two remotes with 5 buttons!!! MICHAEL PADILLA was able to do something that even Ford Corporate couldn't do. He was so nice about my situation. He was truly interested in solving my problem, and really listened to my situation. My only regret is that this dealership is way too far away for me to go for all of my maintenance service. Los Angeles is truly blessed to have a salesman with such exceptional customer service! read more

Where do I begin, I was in the market for an American 1 Ton Truck, but I was not looking forward to dealing with salesmen. I thought I would buy local, and on one of my trips to Lancaster, I stopped by Johnson Ford and found a Truck I liked, so I gave them a shot at selling me the vehicle. I felt pounced on by the two salesmen and a manager, whom thought they had someone to Schtup. The deal they offered me on a Ford F-450 was so outrageous, I had to laugh, then I got up and walked to the door. At the drop of a hat, the manager came down in price $10,000.00 by the time I stepped outside the showroom, in order to try and keep me there, but the deal was so bad and they only insulted me more, so I left. I just love those games! Next, I thought I would go through the Costco Auto Buying Program, and I was contacted by Jim Burke Ford in Bakersfield an hour later, and I told the salesman what I was looking for. To make a Long story short, they only had two 1 Ton trucks on the lot, and 3 weeks went by without an offer of a dealer search; or an offer to even order a new vehicle, the salesman was just not motivated? I contacted Costco's Auto Buying Program and followed up on my experience with Jim Burke Ford. August 13, 2011, I visited Galpin Ford in the early evening, I was promptly greeted by Mark Winters, and we began a search of their truck inventory. After narrowing the choices down to a few trucks, I was introduced to Reza Fatemi, whom was a pleasure to do business with, as was Mark. I wanted to think about the choices overnight, get some cash, think about a trade in, etc., so I didn't take a truck home with me and Reza didn't push me to close a deal, which I appreciated. I returned the next day to buy a Truck, but not before calling Costco's Auto buying Program to let them know that I was on my way to Galpin Ford to make a purchase, and Jim Burke Ford had lost a sale. I gave Costco the specifics of the deal, MSRP, Tax License, and out the door price. After calculating the figures, they said Galpin is giving me an extremely good deal and Galpin Ford is not a participant in the Costco Auto Buying Program. I felt good about my purchase and it was worth making drive to Galpin; the 2011 Tuxedo Black F-350 Super Duty Diesel King Ranch Crew cab dually 4X4 is awesome! It is the 5th Ford my Family has purchased from Galpin. What do I like about Galpin Motors, seeing what direction our government is taking the United States; we're loosing technology, manufacturing processes, natural resources, and American jobs to foreign nations, yet Galpin Motors' Bert Boeckmann is an American Patriot, whom has built a well-established and structured pattern of Business Behavior with a charitable character that provides jobs for 3000 people, a real "American Institution", and this ideology is a fundamental part of Galpin's culture. Every employee I have come into contact with, from the Receptionists in the Showroom, Waitresses at the Horseless Carriage Restaurant, Auto Sales, DMV/Contracts, Galpin Auto Sports, , Service Advisors, Shuttle Drivers, you name it, are all professional, friendly, accommodating, and made my Galpin experience a pleasurable one. read more

So, I bought a Mustang from Galpin a couple of days ago. I went specifically to Galpin because they happen to be the largest Ford dealership in the country and that being said, I wanted to see a large collection. I was amazed at how many Ford's I saw over there. Probably have over a hundred of just Mustangs. There's tons more. I was extremely content with my experience and the level of customer service I received. Especially by Micahel Knerr, one of the guys working showfloor. He was absolutely amazing in every way and the kind of salesman I'd try to mimic if I ever wanted to be in the car selling business. This guy was straightforward, he was honest and not pushy at all. (which is definitely a plus). I never felt like he had other things on his mind. It was all about me; He was very focused on helping me. This is how I met Michael. I'm 18, and have been saving up for a car for a long time. I've always loved mustangs. My Dad is in the car business and used to sell Mercedez, and now just any kind of car. My dad wasn't gonna pay for any part of my first car, and neither was my mom, so I decided, even when I got my license at 16, I was not going to buy a cheap first car. Some of you might say that's foolish, but I wanted a nice car for myself to drive. I saved and saved and worked my but off, both from allowance savings and working as soon as I could get a work permit. When I got to Galpin I just walked around looking at cars. Most of the people there thought I was visiting with a parent and just happened to be browsing while that parent bought a car. Because of that, they paid me no attention. But, Michael. That guy noticed me looking at the mustangs and came over. We started talking cars, laughing. He was great. He enjoys cars, and knows a lot about them. He took me seriously as a customer despite my young appearance, which made me feel great! We looked at a couple of different models of mustang, different years, etc... and then I found the perfect one. I was sold on that Mustang right then and there, and of course, it was in my price range. So, then Mike went to work getting me the best deal he could. Man, can that guy work magic in his fingers and voice to make miracles happen. Guy got the paperwork done quickly and efficiently. Now I got myself I nice ford mustang to show off with. If you're seriously considering getting a car, call Galpin and ask for Michael Knerr. If you live a ways from Galpin ford, still go. It's an amazing experience if you do it right. So call Mike. Let him know you're schedule so you can figure out when you'd like to come in and what you're looking for, that way when you arrive he'll have had some time to check. He'll look at what's in their current inventory, what the available options are, and the incentives you can get, etc, all based on what you're looking for, or he'll look if you have no idea. This will save you some time. So, in conclusion,I had a great experience there. Michael was amazing and I would definitely go back to see him if I ever need another car. Hope this helps, guys. -John read more

I am the owner of Next Level Sales. The name of my company is our mission statement: Communicate, document, service, support, merchandise and train our accounts sales personnel at the next level. I can say without doubt, that the entire team at Galpin Motors are at the Next Level with me. A few years back I purchased my Volvo from Lars. While he is no longer with your company, I was so taken by his excellence that I called to speak with Mr. Boeckmann personally about my experience, and in short order he returned my call. Therefore it isn't unusual that I would come back to your dealership again. While I visited your store to see the XC-60, truth be told, this time I was looking for a Subaru Outback having learned that Galpin was now an authorized dealer, I just didn't know where this dealership was located, and this is where the best experience that I ever had in 50 years of buying or leasing vehicles started. I was grreeted by Peter Lieberman and he patiently took me through the features and benefits of the XC-60, knowing the details of each to perfection, even though he knew that I was leaning towards the Outback. After working up a very fair quote on the XC-60, I called home to speak with my wife about the vehilcle, but she preferred the Subaru. This did not deter Peter for a moment, he generously advised me that he would call over to the Subaru agency and refer me to a certified Subaru sales specialist. Kudos to him. Now before I speak about the extraordinary experience that I had wirth your dealership in Santa Clarita, you should know that my lease was ended on my 2009 Subaru Forrester which I had purchased at Subaru of Sherman Oaks. They are a fair and credible dealership with knowledgeable sales people, but in some ways, they are still typical of most dealerships and a few rungs short of reaching the top of the ladder and being at the Next Level, otherwise they would have earned my business, that of a be-back customer again. Now back to the Galpin experience. Peter just didn't refer me to your Subaru agency, he worked with me on what I was looking for in a car, took the initiative to have it appraised while I was at the Volvo agency, found the Outback that I was looking for and drove out to the Subaru Dealership in Thousand Oaks to pick up the car and deliver it to Galpin Subaru in Santa Clarita. All of this taking place not long aftger thje birth of his son. I met Peter there and he introduced me to Trudy Trump who took over the process of completing the sale. Needless to say, the transition from Peter to Trudy was seemless and equally professional and enjoyable. Just seeing the numerous awards of excellence on her desk let me know that I was in good hands. She is full of personality, knows her product, but most of all, truly cares for he customer and Galpin. Two great sales professionals and one enormously satisfied customer. See you in a few years when I'm ready for a new car. read more

What can I say about Galpin Ford? They are the best. I'm Kevin Berry and I recently bought an F150 pick up from Galpin. I was helped by Phil Englander and he did everything in his power to help me. He didn't try to sell me the truck, he tried to help meet my needs buying the truck. I won't go into details on the deal but I have a disabled son, was upside down in the car I owned and had bad BAD credit. Phil Englander talked to Ford directly, explained my situation, and worked with me on the deal. He got me the truck I wanted at a price I could afford. Wait....I know what you are thinking...Kevin, you got a basic stripped down truck at a high interest rate due to your credit and they didn't even try to help...NO...I got an F150 Super Crew Ford FX2 LOADED....my payments? $250 bucks less than I expected them to be and right where I could afford and appreciate the truck. Financing? Through Ford and at a rate that made me cry. Before this truck, my son had to lay down in the back seat of my car AND the wheelchair didn't fit in the trunk. NOW, my son gets out of the chair and hops up into the cab like nothing. The greatest joy of this is seeing the smile on his face because of his sense of self accomplishment. He actually has a can do attitude and wants to only take the truck when we go places because now, he can do it himself. Galpin went overboard on us. They didn't act like car salesmen. They didn't try to cheat me as car salesmen are known for. They treated us like family. In fact, we almost consider them family. I will never buy another vehicle from anywhere else. PERIOD I would like anyone to challenge my review. PROVE ME WRONG... I was turned down by other dealers....in fact, just down the street from Galpin Ford, we were turned down by a Ford dealer that promised us the best deal possible. They made us sit there for 8 hours on a Sunday night to tell us no after telling us all the way up to that yes. In fact, they lied to us. We found out later that this dealership didn't even run our credit. How can they turn us down? The salesmanager answered that with "I want to make money on you and you are too smart to let me" Exactly his response when I questioned him on turning us down. We left there, spent 45 minutes with Phil Englander at Galpin Ford and that was only to do the closing paperwork. You want a car or truck and you want it the right way..where you actually walk away feeling good about the purchase???? GO TO GALPIN!!! Tell Phil that Kevin Berry sent you and see how you are treated. By the way, I do not work for Galpin. I've never worked for Galpin and I am not assocated with them. To begin, I am very particular. I know what I want, and if it can be ordered, I will wait for a product or vehicle to be made for my specifications and needs. To say the least, it can be daunting experience to buy a product from a dealer you never had prior experiences with. I was looking for a new work van. When the first generation Ford Transit Connect came onto the market, I thought it was a cool concept, but, the size and styling were not of my needs or taste. When the new (2nd generation) TC were introduced last year, it really appealed to me. I did extensive research online and decided this was the vehicle I was going to purchase. Keep in mind, if I could not get the options or accessories I wanted, it was not a giant priority to purchase one. Having my wants and needs in hand, I visited Galpin Ford and asked for Michael and Josh Moses who not only were highly recommended by various sources, but by the numerous outstanding online reviews. Being the first time in a Ford dealer, Michael and Josh immediately put me at ease by letting me dictate how the process was to take place. Armed with my specific requirements, we "built" the vehicle. It was a fast easy process that took roughly 30-45 minutes. Making the required deposit to get the process started, they informed me of the approximate time the TC would arrive at Galpin. Being mid-October, the van being made in Spain, it would be at least till the end of January when it arrives. The next morning, Michael called me and had the bad news the color I wanted was being discontinued for the 2015 model year. He was very apologetic and let me know of other colors that were available. During the months following, Michael was in contact letting me know the status of the vehicle. When the end of January arrived, he let me know the vehicle was built and in transit. The TC arrived the second week in February but I was traveling and could not complete the purchase. Michael and Josh were very understanding and never applied any pressure to "get me in". Finally I was able to purchase the vehicle!!!!! With all the information needed, not only did the price work for all involved, but Michael was able to obtain a great interest rate from Ford Motor Credit! To really express how great an experience this was, would take too long to write and too long to read, so the above summarized my experience with the Moses'. Again, buying a vehicle can be a daunting, intimidating and unpleasant experience. But, Josh and Michael are out of the league in how they accommodate their clients when assisting in purchasing their cars, from meeting, ordering, the paperwork and finally driving off the lot with your vehicle! I cannot praise them enough!!! read more

My lease was up in three months but I had one more oil change before I was to go into the dealership and work on owning the leased vehicle. I was dreading to have to come back in another month or so and work on getting the paperwork to own the lease vehicle. When I went into the service center at Galpin Ford, I was greeted by Jim, an associate with Galpin, asking me my plans for the leased vehicle. He had my estimated mileage for the remainder of the lease, showing that I was already over my contracted mileage and I would have to owe at the end of my lease. It was not that bad but that total would be added to the total sum when I would purchase the vehicle. Jim escorted me to the financial side of Galpin Ford where he showed me the estimated car payments, and when the contract was up, the value of the vehicle. I was shocked at how the value of my vehicle was going to drop after I made all the payments in the years ahead. I felt that since I wouldn't really get much as far as a trade-in value for the car, I opted to speak with another sales associate that deals with leased vehicles. With that being said, I was introduced to Patrick, a salesman like no others at the dealership. Patrick has an army of two at his disposal. Patrick is his own sales team and he doesn't have to go verify anything with a higher manager or go into the other room and pretend that he's negotiating a deal on my behalf. He is straight forward and doesn't waste time with the handshakes and goofy grin...well, he does have a goofy grin but that is beside the point. He was upfront and believe it or not, honest. I know that is hard to understand but you can tell he's the real deal because he doesn't deal with bullshit or other cliché' stereotypes that goes with being a car salesman. He's there to help you and if you don't want his help, then good luck to you because you are a fool. I told him my budget and he told me the reality of what I would have to pay in order to have the car within my budget. I realized that if I wanted to drive a car that fits my physique and style, I would have to pay more as far as a monthly payment goes forward. Patrick and his staff, helped me choose a car within my budget and it was all done within several hours. I did drive a few cars for some time but once I made my decision, the paperwork was done within the hour and my original vehicle was done with its oil change. I swapped out all my personal belongings from one to the other and was off the lot in four hours. Even though I was there for an oil change, I drove off in a new car and a great deal. If you want to lease or purchase a car with Galpin Ford, I would recommend asking for Patrick. read more

Great Experience. About 2 weeks before showing up to Galpin Ford, I had been struggling to find a new car. My 2004 truck gave up on me and I needed a car immediately. I attempted to get help from several different dealers in different cities. No one was helpful. They would either close the doors of opportunity or showed the worst customer service. I had given up already and finally decided to give it one last chance. We showed up at Galpin Ford on an early Friday morning. Fortunately I was introduced to Christopher Lopez. He had the best customer skills I had experience through the past weeks. He showed lots of interest in helping us and he had very independent attention. Not once did he showed any type of terrible interest towards us. Chris Lopez introduced us to different cars that morning. It was a very hot day, and regardless of the hot weather his attitude was 110% great. After searching for a car & making a great choice, we came to realize that we were unable to get the car. However, Chris did not give up there. He pushed harder on helping us. After many hours of attempting to get my family into a decent size car and a great car, Chris finally introduced us to a Chevy Malibu 2009 with only 23,000 miles. This is an amazing choice and everyday we learn something new with this car. Chris helped us get basically a NEW car, very little miles, Very little down payment and small monthly payments. This car was more than we expected to walk out with. This Friday, walking into Galpin Ford and meeting with Christopher Lopez was an incredible experiene. Little did I imagine that I would walk out of here with such an amazing car, thanks to Chris. I would love to add that this was not a short experiece, however regardless of the hours it took to walk out of Galpin Ford in our new Chevy Malibu, Chris was always attentive to help us and through the time he did not show any sign of irritation or so. @ Chris Lopez: Thank you Chris for having such an enthusiacti attitude, thank you for not giving up on us, thank you for all patience, and thank you for treating us like we were your very first and only customers. You have an amazing attitude and you have a wonderful customer service experience. I would definately recommend you, as a matter of fact, you have already been recommended all around my family and my friends. *******IF YOU DECIDE TO GO TO GALPIN FORD IN NORTH HILLS, CA, MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR CHRISTOPHER LOPEZ********* read more

So I was shopping for a new car recently and was talking to my very best friend about the difficulties I was having with several dealerships in the area due basically to no one else's fault but my own sloppy credit and financial history. So he started to rattle off the names of several dealerships locally and it seemed as though all of the dealerships I had been talking with were either in LA proper or to the south and west side of LA. And my friend exclaimed, you're in the wrong neighborhood for a deal and the help you need. So immediately my friend takes out his phone and makes one call, starts talking to Someone on the phone and all could understand was, is will available? I'm here with my friend who's having a problem getting a new car today. They talked a bit longer and I heard the closing, we'll see you soon, maybe 20 to 25minutes. Little did I know that my friend had had some dark days in his own credit history. So back in our cars, me following my friend and in almost 25minutes exactly we pulled into the customer parking lot at Galpin Ford. We head inside and there stood Will Aguilar. Introductions done, Will meet Patrick and Patrick meet Will. That done Will invites me to have a seat for a few minutes so we can talk about my situation, wants and needs of the day, relative to a new car. So Will showed me a few cars that were available, within my budget, decided on the car that ended up being the best choice. Now it was time for the paperwork, in most instances, the paperwork was handed over with a non personal statement here you need to fill these out and get them to my manager, he will let me know what if anything they can do to help. Not the case with Will, he actually interviewed me, q & a time. He took his time making sure I understood each question and each document that was being included in the precise process. And funny thing is that I never had the feeling that I was being closed or hustled. When everything was all said and done, Will's final words were the tank is full, here are your keys to your new car !!! And I absolutely love my new Galpin Ford EcoSport and I highly recommend Will Aguilar to be your next, best friend and auto sales expert. I probably won't be in the market now for at least another 5yrs, but I will only be shopping with Will Aguilar when the time comes. Patrick Kibby, 9/11/2022. read more

This review is for the service department. I brought my 2012 Ford Focus SE 5 door back on 8/15. I brought it in on Thursday late afternoon and wanted to rent a car because I had to work that night. However, fast forward to Monday of that week, turns out the shop volume was so backed up, they had no time to work on my car until Monday. For a caliber department that Galpin is, not having my car worked on for 2 days is not acceptable. My service advisor was Bill Parks. He really stepped up in terms of wanting to help me. When I originally got there, I was waiting for 5 minutes. There was no greeter around. I actually had to go into the service department and ask for help. When a greeter actually came to help me, Bill came out to greet me. That's when I made my decision to work with him (I originally intended to work with another person that day). Bill really did his best to get my car out on time. I was partially understanding on my research on why my car took longer then expected. He gave reasonable follow up and I kept in constant communication in regards to my car. I used to be on the auto business. It just seems to be that Galpin Ford service is more focused on quantity then quality that they lose focus on quality and getting cars out in a reasonable time. It is the VERY hard working service consultants like Bill which makes this place worth while to come too. I ended up having my rental for 8 days. I was only gonna ask him to just have my rental charged for 7 days. However, he stepped up again and offered to comp for 4 days (which I think is reasonable. Cause, I only expected to have my car only there for up to 4 days). By virtue of him doing that, he did establish my faith with Galpin service. My advice to Galpin Ford service. Don't lose good consultants like him. I've already been through 2. You keep losing good consultants, I will no longer come to the service department anymore. I was no longer gonna use the service department but after this experience, I may consider using this again. Advise to customers: Try coming earlier in the week. If you come in later in the week, either wait for your car....otherwise, you may not get your car on time as expected. read more

Galpin has been the # 1 car dealer for my family and friends since Delfi Palma started to work right there. We had been following her since she was working at another car dealer. Now that she is at Galpin I recognized that the service is the most valuable that I have ever received while buying a car. Delfi is not only very polite and sweet, but also is the most professional and patiently person that I had ever meet in a car business. I remember once about four months ago when I sent one of my friends to buy a car with her, he was frustrated because he did not have any idea what to buy. Delfi spent about two days with this guy helping him on what was best for he and his family, finally he made his mind and there is my friend all excited driving his new car. After that my brother also wanted to buy a car, but this case was different he really knew the car that he wanted and the car dealer where Delfi works did not have it. She worked hard and in less than twenty-four hours my brother was driving the car of his dreams. I bought my own car 2010 last year, I call her and told her that I did not have time to look around for cars, but I told her what I was looking for and that I really trusted on her and an hour later she was calling me back to tell me that she had what I wanted. I went to Galpin signed all the papers and in less than two hours I was back at work again. Delfi is amazing the way she solve every single little thing, there is nothing that she had not resolve for us. We had never had to go to another car dealer because she couldn't help us, we had always received the best treat from her; she frequently calls us to know if we are completely satisfied about our selection. If we have any question after our purchase we also feel free to call her, she answers any doubt we can have about our cars. She is always in a good humor and making jokes about life. I remember one joke that she always says, don't worry about a problem everything has a solution in this beautiful world, the only thing that doesn't is the death. read more

WOW!!! Thank God the #1 Ford Dealership in the world is minutes away from all Angelinos!! Over the years my family have bought our cars from Galpin Motors. It had been over 15 years since I was looking for a car and decided to check out Galpin for a Ford Edge and boy am I glad I did! The minute I walked on the lot I was greeted with a warm smile by a representative mamed Nima who not only listened to what I wanted but also took the time to share information about the Edge trim features like he was advising a friend, so I could make the right decision to fit my budget and needs. He was courteous, patient, and cared. This was all feeling very familiar to me, a service that I had experienced years ago had never changed. Like the food of your favorite restaurant consistent, reliable, and full of quality and good service. I did a test drive and loved the car! While waiting for my offer another warm smile stopped by the office and we shared a hearty conversation how his family loved the Edge and I about my love for Galpin. He was the manager and the next thing I knew he worked out a deal for me made in heaven....and ladies, I was alone being taken care of like a family member! Off to Finance where I was helped by lovely lady named Janet. She was very efficient, informative, and engaging...not routine at all for paperwork! We shared stories of our work, families, and Galpin again. Wow, I thought as I sat in my new Edge, what wonderful thing just happen to me? See, I never met Mr. Boeckmann, but felt I knew him through the years by the kind service of his staff, quality of his product, and the consistent way he does business. Treating everyone that enters his dealership like we were stepping into his home. This is the Galpin Experience! So, if you are looking for a great car with service to match, go to Galpin Motors ask for Nima but if he's tied up due to popular demand, another member of the Galpin family that will gladly take good care of you. Say hello to George and air hug Janet for me (ugh Covid)...and oh, you can thank me later! read more

"So where do I begin.. I purchased a 2012 Ford Focus in 2011 and every since then I have had numerous, NUMEROUS problems with my car. THANK GOD I have the extended warranty package because I would most likely be $10,000 in debt by now, probably even more. I have had major transmission issues about 4 times and every time I take it to Ford, they keep it for almost 1 week and send me home with what they think is a fixed car, but no. The car jerks, constantly. I've had minor issues like, AC smells really bad, Sunroof stopped working, windows stopped working, wipers stopped, car wouldn't go in reverse couple times, had it towed couple times, um.. wow the list can go on and on. NO KIDDING. In May I called to make an appointment for my car for 2 reasons, the AC, once again and the transmission once again. They said it would be on a wait-list for the transmission. So I've been waiting. I called several times to check my place on this list, yet no one returns my calls. FINALLY today, Hazel returns my call (thank you Hazel) BUT says I am no where to be found on this list. It's upsetting because if you look at my records, I should be VIP status for ALL THE TIMES I've had to bring my car in, for all the times I've complained to managers, to people higher than managers, to people in service department, sales department, EVERYWHERE. The ""service managers"" pretend like they'll be on top of the mechanics and make sure they fix it correctly, but it's a broken record. Some companies, some people in the world do things ONLY for money, not because they show compassion to another human being. It's heartbreaking. So here I am, dealing with a Lemon Law Lawyer on a wait-list (once again) driving a car that is 100000% unsafe to drive. Why am I driving it? Because I'm one of those people who have hope for things. Every day I get in my car, hoping it's magically fixed. But one thing is for certain, I will never buy a Ford again, I will never buy a car for Galpin again. And I really hope I never see any of the employees again. " read more

DIE HARD GALPIN FAN My favorite salesman at Galpin is Henrik Einfelt. You can trust him. He will work hard for you and is very professional, engaged and a stand-up guy. My cousin was a long time GM at two BMW dealerships so I know just how bad dealership behaviors can be. But you will find none of that at Galpin. Galpin goes out of the way to please and serve Its customers. I am on my 4th vehicle from them. I have gotten a Honda, a Mercury, a Volvo and a Ford from them. I have both leased and bought. It's hard to fathom, but after a day at Galpin I am still relaxed and I know that I have been well taken care of. No one has "put me in the box to grind me." The experience at Galpin has always been straightforward, efficient, pleasant, elegant, polite, professional, thorough and relaxing. Yes relaxing. How is that possible when leasing or buying a car? Somehow Galpin manages it. Galpin is very deft and mindful when choosing Its sales staff. They are, without exception, a joy to deal with. Don't be intimidated by the elegant, expensive show room. Or the fact that they also sell very high end cars. They are not snobs. Far from it. They will work super hard for you no matter what your income or credit score. My credit score was very low when I fist went. No other Ford dealership would deal with me. I was very down about it when someone suggested Galpin to me. Galpin treated me like gold and got me into a great lease at a price that I was happy with. Each time I have gone back to Galpin to upgrade vehicles my credit score has been higher and it speaks well of them that they treat you like gold no matter what your credit score is. You can talk to them. You can tell them where you are at and what you really need. They actually listen and take action to make something work for you. Maybe they are so unusual becasue they have one original owner, a man who steers the company toward his ongoing vision. What ever the reason, I am loyal to Galpin and I think it is by far the best dealership in SoCal. read more

On July 25, 2015, I, my wife and the kids went to Galpin Ford of Van Nuys to buy a new car. We had certain requirments and a set budget. We met Mr. Darwich from the Sales Department, who was very accomodating, he listned to our requiremnets and took notes of all we wanted, we also gave him our set budget anthen he asked some questions in regards to the intended use of the car. He showed us several options and offers, he then took us to us to 2 lots to visually see these options. There were no pressure or inclination to direct us in a particular option, Mr. Darwich was very accomodating in everyway possible. He even offered snacks for the kids 3 times during our saty at the dealership and offered us some cold drinks too. At last we were able to finalize a deal that was very favorable and we were very happy that we were able to reach a closure to that task, considering having the kids running around reaking havoc while playing hide and seek. Mr. Darwich even managed to get me the best possible deal for my trade-in 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis, which was very hard for me and for my son to depart from it after 13 years. After finalizing all the paperwork he had to submit, we were directed to the Finance office for signing the paperwork, awiting our new car to be washed and ready. Mr. Darwich surprised us with a kind hospitality gesture by inviting us to lunch at the Horseless Carriage Restaurant, in consideration for the time we spent at the Dealership. I was very worried about being unable to go through this with the kids, but it went through smoothly and even the kids enjoyed the time but were a bit tired at the end. My experience with Galpin Ford was an exceptionally smooth and relaxed endeavor. This Dealership earned my respect and my loyalty. Chapeau for a courteous and a professional staff who know how to conduct a professional business while maintaining a refined and accomodating experience with its clientele. Thank you. Hi there! My name is Shayna and my Wife's name is Sarah. We are an active duty Military Navy couple. I am writing this review to let everyone know how satisfied my Wife and I were during the purchase of our Brand New Ford Fusion. Not only were we treated with the utmost respect as a Lesbian couple, but we were treated witht he most diligent and excellent customer service by the Sales Manager Payton and our Car Sale representative Joe Jacobellis. We drove all the way to North Hills from Thousand Oaks because we couldn't find a car dealer in our area who was worthy of our car purchase. We walked into Galpin Ford and were greated by the nicest Employees and taken care of immediately. Joe and Payton made it their mission to make sure we left with a Car we wanted and would do anything to make sure we would get the best car for our money. I absolutely reccomend Galpin Ford in North Hills to anyone looking to purchase a new or pre-owned vehicle. We went into Ford origioanlly looking at a pre-owned Ford Fusion and by the end of the day we were being financed for a Brand New 2012 Ford Fusion for lower payments then for the pre-owned Fusion and to me that is exceptional Customer Service and quality care. We told them up-front how much money we had for a down payment and they never once tried to get more money out of us or take advantage of us or our needs. We had a great experience during our Car Purchase and always had ice cold water and any of our needs met while there. I am so happy and blessed that we ended up at Galpin Ford. Joe Jacobellis is a great Car Sale's Man and we are a very happy Ford Family and proud owners of our Brand New 2012 Ford Fusion. We will definitely be buying our next Vehicle through Galpin Ford and I reccomend this dealership and Joe to everyone looking into buying a car. Wooohooooo to our new car!!!!! and a BIG THANK YOU to JOE Jacobellis and Payton the Sales Manager. Happy Satisfied Customers!! We are a Proud Ford Family now!!! read more

These guys were great. I was originally only coming by to check out stock and get an appraisal on my old car, but I ended up buying that day! My old car literally died right outside the dealership, as if it realized, "Hey! I'm being replaced! Well, I'll show you!" So I called and left a message with Laz Acosta, and waited for the tow truck. Laz called back, and offered to get me out of the road and their guys could check it out, and maybe make some kind of offer even for the car, dead though it may be. So, I"m freaking out, but there was no pressure. They had pizza and offered some, so I calmed down, got some good, and talked budget, down payments, etc. And I was on a tight budget. I had had a couple higher priced used cars, but when I told them my monthly payment max, Teddy O'Meir, who was awesome, had me test drive a Kia Optima. I pretty much loved the car on the spot after driving, and Teddy worked to get a good rate on the loan, and keep my monthly payment at exactly what I needed. And Teddy also swooped in to score me the car ahead of someone else since I had made an appointment already through the Internet (definitely do that, great way to get the process started). I took a quick break, consulted my financial advisors (aka family), and decided to take the deal. They were taking care of my clunker, got me the rates I needed, and had a car on hand that was perfect for me! How could I say, no, let me take my dead car somewhere else and see what happens. I signed the paperwork and got the keys straightaway. Financial department was great, not pushy about anything, they took care of everything, answered all my questions, and worked quickly to process everything and get me on the road. So if you're in the market for a used car, especially if you've got a soon to be clunker, go to Galpin Ford. They were so nice, friendly, but not aggressive or pushy like other dealerships can be. Get in touch with Laz and work with Teddy if you can! read more
