I'm giving this place one star because of an experience I had here with my mom. First of all, if I had known two mani pedis would cost us $140 (one gel mani and one sns mani, two regular pedicures) we would not have considered coming here in the first place. The water in the foot tubs was COLD despite me saying it was too cold for comfort. Otherwise, my pedicure was mediocre. My moms pedicure was the same up until her toes got painted. It was sloppy and there was nail polish all over her toes. The gel manicure I had was good and my first experience getting gel as I typically do not like getting my fingernails done with anything, so I have no complaints about that. Once I was finished I went and sat next to my mom who was getting the SNS filed down on her nails. Turns out her nail tech put on SIX layers of base dip. That is too many and she tried to tell him it was too thick, but he just said he could file it down. We have been her now for two and a half hours, and finally my mom says we don't have the time to wait for him to finish. If he had done the color instead of 4-5 extra layers of base, it would have been finished. My mom's discontent with the quality of service is very obvious and even said the experience was terrible out loud to the nail tech, who didn't offer any kind of compensation. We will never come her again, and if you're considering coming here, reserve the whole day to get it done because that might be what it takes. read more

I followed my nail tech here from her last spot. Salina is awesome, detailed, funny and super timely without rushing. She always pays attention to me and my nails/toes. She even does waxing and doesn't disappoint!!! If she ever leaves here, I'll be following her as she is just THAT good! read more

The man is salon did a terrible job in shaping the nails and argued when I asked him to correct it. The manager saw everything that happened and said nothing. I'm never coming back to this place. read more

Rude , Rude , Rude I live in south riding but I'll be going outside of south riding to get my nails done elsewhere. This business must have thought just set up in south riding and make $ . I'd rather go to any other location than this , the staff either has 0 comprehension skills or they just don't care . I think the latter based on things said . Do no be fooled by location , this business has no concept of customer service . The nail person played distracted on her cell phone , cut my finger and when it hurt I said it's bleeding she called me sensitive , when I said I'm not sensitive you cut me it hurts, she smirked . When I said I asked for square not round she says " looks better than when you came here " Asked me if this was first time I'd gotten nails done lol ..... and overall very rude , very . Still giving NV nails a high rating because this is the first time that this has happened. I am always extremely satisfied with the way my nails look when I leave but today while my nail technician was filing my thumb, she sliced the skin in between my nail and finger. It was a complete accident and she apologized right after but I was not very happy leaving the salon today. It is quite painful still and I hope it doesn't get infected. read more

I am very satisfied with the level of service I received from NV nails. I went late one evening after work and was not happy with the end result after I got home. That evening I messaged the owner and sent photos of the finished results. The owner was very understanding and kindly scheduled me to come back in with Moon. Moon was very kind and did a beautiful job on my nails. The technician that originally did my nails also came over to apologize and provided me with a very reasonable explanation as to what happened. Every once in a while anywhere you go... shit happens. What is important is how excellent this company and all of their team members handled they situation after it happened. read more

First time at this spa. Excellent service, friendly staff, decent rates, nicely located at the intersection of Tall Cedars road and Route 5. Got classic pedicure done ($30), forgot the lady's name who did my Pedicure but she did a great job and took her time. They made me wait 1 whole hour even though I had an appointment. They didn't even tell me I would have to wait that long. Another lady came after me and they took her first and said she had an appointment. I said I had an appointment too and I've been waiting 45 min. The guy just goes someone will be with you. I had to get my nails done because I was going for a wedding so I didn't fight. But I definitely will not be coming back here. Terrible customer service. read more

I would give zeros stars if I could. I didn't get the techs name but I went in for dip on my nails & a pedicure. I asked her if she could do the nails I wanted & showed her a picture & she said yes. My toes came out decent but my hands are awful. She didn't tell me what she was doing & as she was gluing the tips down I asked her about the clear ones & she proceeds to tell me they have none. She said she would do a nude color & put the iridescent flake on top so I said okay at least it'll be similar to what I asked for. I also asked for a coffin shape which i didn't get. It's closer to a square shape than anything & some just look awkward. I'm not sure if she knew how to properly do dip because my nails are bumpy, thick, & uneven. She also cut me multiple times. At the beginning before starting my nails, I thought she gathered everything she needed. Towards the end she tells me they actually don't have iridescent flakes (which she didn't even look for she asked someone else to look for them who told her no they didn't have them) & that I should do a glitter (which I didn't want). I was annoyed so I decided on a random glitter. She starts sprinkling it on my nail but I guess she saw it really had no pay off. So she decided to dip my nail in it & gives me a glitter French tip. I'm sure she saw how awful they looked & proceeded to start sanding the glitter off. At that point I told her to just leave them alone I'd just leave them without anything. She tries to convince me to get glitter & I just told her no. She finished my nails & then tries to charge me for the nails I initially asked for but didn't receive. So I'm left with random glitter, bumpy, thick, uneven, cut up, rough looking nails. -12/10. I obviously won't be coming back. read more

The first time I went I got a gel manicure and then after a few days it looked awful as if the polish itself was old and it didn't distribute evenly and was streaky and bubbly. So, I went back and Kevin fixed them free of charge with no problem! They were very kind about it and did an amazing job at fixing them and making sure I was happy with them. Service is great and the past two times I went they did a nice job BUT....they overcharged me and when I pointed that out on their menu prices the owner just said no. Gel mani is $35, with paraffin it is $40...but they charged me $40 anyways without the paraffin treatment. When I pointed out to the owner she just said no. I can read and am not stupid. And if the gel manicure was $40 without the extra add on I still would happily pay it because they do a great job here and its so close to my house. However....straight up lying and cheating your customers is the worst type of business practice. For that reason alone I will be finding another salon that is at the very least honest. If you decide to patronize them its probably a good idea to confirm pricing with them upfront so they cant just make up a price after services have already been performed...or i suggest finding somewhere else to get your nails done! read more
