I'm pretty ashamed at myself, as now the signs are very clear that NW Shine is not a reputabal company and is quite possibly not even a real company as multiple people have reported this and their Google reviews are fraud. I hired them to "remove" moss from my roof and all they did was spray something on it that did nothing, and actually a year later it was worse. For anyone who does research you will find that you can't just spray moss and expect it to fall off, it must be removed first and then the roof treated. After multiple attempts for a refund given the 6 year warranty, they refused and then proceeded to give me the run around for 2 months before I did some more digging and realized I'd been shammed. I requested a quote from NW Shine and they responded super quick...for a gutter cleaning and roof treatment (moss) it was around $400 total. I asked over the phone if I would have to interact with the workers but was told no, just to leave a check outside. I was shocked when they knocked on my door wearing no face mask! I put my face mask on and opened the door. The worker was standing two feet away. During this time, it should be mandatory for workers that interact with customers to wear a mask and maintain social distancing. While on the roof working, that's up to them, but certainly when knocking on doors. I will update this review as I see if their moss treatment was effective. I'm still seeing green on the roof, but hopefully that will subside. In the past with other companies, the lightly covered moss was immediately gone after treatment, so I am a little worried they didn't get rid of the problem. NW Shine sprayed my roof, told me the moss would die in a few months and not return for five years guaranteed. It is one year later and my roof is covered in healthy moss. I have left two voicemail messages, sent two emails, and texted them about this and gotten NO response. I would NOT recommend this service. read more

NW Shine came out to clean my gutters and treat my roof on October 15. When I made the appointment I made it clear that we had gutter guards on half our gutters. I was told that they would clean the open gutters in the traditional way and stream water down the capped sections of gutter, then flush the downspouts. It appears that nothing was done to the gutters with the guards on them, as clogged downspouts are causing overflows exactly as was happening prior to the "cleaning." Additionally, the debris from the gutters that could be accessed was thrown to the ground as the worker made his way down the length of gutter. After the first rainstorm following the cleaning we had overflow issues. I texted the company twice and emailed them once and left a phone message regarding the issues, and received no response. Note: NW Shine was my "go to" gutter and roof business. I had contracted with them for several years to clean gutters and treat the roof, and never had any issues! It seems they've recently let the quality of their work slide! I will attempt to attach a picture of the debris that was left behind, so you can see what I mean. read more

We used NW shine for many years with no issue and great work. Sadly this last time when they treated our roof, they caused a rock to dislodge and damage my neighbor's railing. They didn't tell us about it, but my neighbor caught the accident on his camera. They were really difficult to reach after the incident and ignored the many pleas for repair from me and my neighbor. I finally paid my neighbor's 400 dollar invoice to repair the railing just to resolve the matter. NW shine apparently offered to repair my neighbor's railing six months from the accident which as you can imagine did not sit well with my neighbor. I think if you mess up a job you should repair it promptly. This 200 dollar service ended up costing me 600 dollars and a stressful situation with a good neighbor. NW Shine flat out refused to refund me. My neighbor tried to obtain insurance information that they would not provide. I will not be using them again. They made it clear that there is no trust or integrity in their business. I can appreciate that people are struggling during COVID. But to flat out ignore business ethics is a real problem. I just hope no one else goes through this and that is why I am posting. read more

I used them initially for cleaning Moss from my roof and then for pressure washing my sidings and driveway. Miguel came by soon and gave me an estimate for the moss cleaning that was competitive. He came by on the appointed day and did a good job cleaning up all the moss. Since I liked the work he did, I had him come by and do pressure washing for the sidings on the house as well as driveway and back patio and also window cleaning. Had to reschedule with them since first appointment day they called and couldn't make it. Next day they came late. Was not impressed. They did a good job cleaning the roof, but did not make an effort to clear gutters after roof cleaning. One of my gutters were clogged and they had to come back to clear it. Recently had a different company clean my gutters again. Didn't seem to want my business. I wouldn't use them again. read more
