NYC United Limo is an excellent company. I hired them to move my elderly father-in-law a long distance from one nursing facility to another one. They were extremely reliable, courteous and competent across the board. This was not a typical pick up when someone just gets in the vehicle. There were various details regarding pick up and drop off, all of which were handled so well. The chauffeur was very kind and patient in helping my father-in-law in and out of the car, which was not easy. Customer service is fantastic. I had to call several times with new or changing details and I was always treated with kindness and patience. I was also always kept up to date with all details before, during, and after the trip. Terrible experience due to lack of professionalism from the driver assigned to us. The vehicle was the correct model and size, and it was clean; however, the arrival was 2 hrs past the agreed time, and the driver failed to confirmed this to their base office which caused us additional hours charges. Additionally, the driver had little respect for the all-ladies group, as he made several side comments and showed dismissing facial expressions suggesting dislike for the latin group; he then turned out to be a pervert as he was caught filming a video (selfie-mode from the drivers seat) of the group as we were dancing and laughing for his pleasure and personal viewing. When confronted he said he liked the music and we asked him to delete the footage from the phone and the cloud. He played dumb and continue to be disrespectful towards all women in the group. We've used this provider twice, each time for approximately 90 minutes. Both cars were good quality, one driver was especially good, the other all right. Our first reservation contained a surprise because the final charge was much higher than the original barebones quote in that tolls, other fees and a mandatory tip were added. But the rides were comfortable, on time and pleasant. I'm giving 5 stars because I suppose the charge thing is standard in this industry. read more

Quick & great experience getting a quote online & reserving. The company called the day before my pick up and then sends texts and emails on the day of letting you know the driver was on the way and arrived. We had the WORST experience with this company. We booked the company twice - once for pickup at the airport and the second time for pickup at our hotel in Times Square. The first driver (Sujan) that picked us up from the airport was wonderful! However the driver that was scheduled to pick us up from the hotel and take us to the airport created a horrible experience for us. First the driver was late, then he called and said we needed to walk to the corner of the street. Our hotel was not at the corner! And we had luggage, a double stroller, a baby and a toddler with us in the middle of Times Square. Instead of helping us like he is suppose to he had us struggle to get everyone and our belongings to the corner of the street! Then when we got to the car the car seats I requested were installed incorrectly AND the car smelled horribly of weed! I told him I needed a different car because I did not feel safe putting my children in that car. He said he would spray perfume! That was his solution!! After arguing with the company about the safety issues they finally agreed to send us a new car. The new car arrived an HOUR later and the car seats were again installed incorrectly. They had the infant seat lying on its back and not even buckled correctly. I had to install the seats which caused more of a delay trying to get to the airport. The whole experience was very unprofessional and on top of that illegal concerning the issue with marijuana. They caused major delays in our travel schedule. Had NYC United limo pick up/drop off my family to/from Laguardia to Upper West Side. We needed two car seats for my kids. The reservation system and pricing was easy to use and understand. They followed up with emails/texts to always keep you informed of drivers location and timing. It was easy to make a last minute change to the address, so communication overall was great. I was celebrating my 23rd birthday and wanted a limo to have a more luxurious experience and this was anything but. I first called for a quote on a 14 passenger and they said $275 per hour/3 hr minimum. It was a great deal and 3 hour minimum is what most places request. I called back to finalize and then they said no, 4 hour minimum and that its an 18 passenger... I didn't have the time to cater to an extra hour due to reservations I had booked but since it was their mistake we were able to bring it back to 3 hours and I didn't mind having more room, I even invited more people to join. My birthday comes and I was at a loss for words. I attached the pictures they emailed me of some options and the last image was the only image I have of the limo I got because I was so grossed out. I now regret not taking more pictures so I could show you guys the disaster of a limo I received.. It was a super old, beat up limo with glass on the floor which I had them clean up because that was unacceptable. It was also indeed a 14 passenger not 18... so my sister and her boyfriend literally couldn't fit and had to uber to our last destination. The only reason I even went through with it was because my friends convinced me to make the most of it but this ruined my birthday entirely. I just had an awful experience from NYC United Limo. It was very disappointing. First of all they charged me $550. I booked it for my 20th Annuversary celebration. It was simple instructions; pick us up, take us to dinner and drop us off at the airport. I spoke to them weeks before our trip and we decided what drinks were to be in the car. When the driver arrived, he spoke zero English which made communicating impossible. There were zero drinks in the car like we had discussed. The driver had no idea where he was going. I asked where the drinks were. He seemed to understand a little. He pulls over to a party store that only had wine and Champaign (we had requested some liquor and bourbon to make drinks). He then gives me his phone with maps out to type in where we were going. I tried telling him but he didn't understand. I then had to call the head office to tell them to make sure the driver understands he has to wait for us and take us to the airport, because at this point I think he's going to leave us at dinner. When I called to complain, their answer was that they had to switch drivers and they really bent over backwards because the driver got a parking ticket waiting for us (so the parking ticket was my fault even after setting this whole thing up weeks prior). They refused to take anything off of my bill. I was charged full price for no effort. Terrible customer service. There are plenty of limo services in NYC. Do not book this service! read more

We hired NYC United Limo to pick us up from the airport and it went very smoothly. They were very communicative about confirming the reservation, letting us know when the driver was on the way, and when he actually arrived at the airport. Our driver also texted when he got there to let us know where to meet him. Our flight was delayed a bit but the driver was patient, and was waiting for us near baggage claim when we finally landed (we opted for the "inside pickup"). He was professional and friendly, and the car was very nice and clean. We booked online about 24 hours in advance and that process was pretty seamless as well. Bait and switch pricing. Wayne gives one price on Friday, Ali quotes a higher price on Saturday. Website allows pricing for an interim stop, which is apparently included in Wayne's quote; the next day Ali adds $50 for the stop and describes the website quote as the "base price." When I point out that the stop in factored in to the automated pricing mechanism to Wayne, i.e.,the name of the stop is actually included on the screen page, he changes it to $20 for the stop. Booked a car service months in advance for a trip from my airport to my hotel. Paid $250 for an Escalade to transport me and I was assured a 2020-2021 Escalade would be picking us up. Well when I walk out to the car it is a 2016 suburban that they had replaced the tail lights with Escalade lights and the suburban rims with Escalade rims but like I said a suburban. After being placed on hold for 20 minutes (during which I could have secured another ride) I was told they couldn't reach the driver. Gave them another chance on the ride back to the airport from New Milford, CT, and despite receiving a confirmation email with correct address listed, the driver went to different town with a similar name AN HOUR away from out actual pick up location. Made a difficult weekend even worse. This is what terrible and unreliable service looks like. Do NOT use them! read more
