This is divey sort of place, a combination of brewery and pizzeria. It's very simple: Food 4.5 stars Service 1 Star I sat down and even though there were only 2 people drinking at the bar and only two other table in the entire place occupied, it took the waiter over 10' to come and get my order. My order was not anything extensive; a few wings and an 8" pizza. It took almost 25' to bring it to my table! I was ready to get up, pay for my drink and leave. During the meal, the server was barely visible; I had to get up on my own to get a refill of my soft drink from the machine... Food was really good, especially the pizza. Great dough, very tasty sauce (had to be home made), cooked to how I requested it (soft, not burnt to a crisp). I would give it this another try only because the pizza was very good but it's not likely...

Ordered a slice of cheese za and a draft beer. A nice Sam Adam's Seasonal on tap you can't go wrong ! Their happy hour is undercover and low key with great specials during these tough economic times. Lodi red wine only $6.50 yes please ! Joseph W. Gets a shout out for being great all around customer service focused! (Not a paid endorsement) Ambiance: very simple space small bar seating for 9 and outside patio seats available.

The service was on point and we never went without a refill of our drinks. The Italian sausage pizza is my go to. There is enough flavor in the sausage that you don't feel like you're missing more toppings. I wish the cheesy garlic knots had more cheese and more garlic but they were still okay.

This is really good pizza. I've gotten it to go and it was really good and I've ate it in the restaurant a few times. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is great. Smells awesome in this place. It's just good down to earth pizza.

    NYPD Bruschetta pizza

I'm not sure why I keep trying to order bruschetta pizza from nearly every pizza place here because it NEVER even remotely resembles the bruschetta pizza I get in New York. Attached is a picture of a New York style bruschetta pizza vs the one I ordered from NYPD Pizza tonight. it should be covered in diced tomatoes and drizzled with balsamic and it's more like sprinkled with tomatoes and smothered in cheese. Very disappointing.

NYPD Pizza 2580 W Chandler Blvd Chandler, AZ June 18,2024 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Portion size: 5/5 Visit: Stopped for Pizza for Dinner, placed pickup on way home from work. Lunch: Ordered one personal BBQ, bacon, pineapple pizza and six bone-in wings. Service: Take-Out, Service was great and food was prepared correctly and under 15 minutes, service was fast the pizza was amazing the quality is second to no one. Lunch special "one slice, one drink" only cost $22 great deal for amount of food I got for myself.

Been here a few more times on the weekends and service at the tables has been improved over the years. Food has been consistently good. Ambiance hasn't changed and is still about what you'd expect from a NY themed pizza place. I'm still not sure what exactly the "NY Water" is that they use - I suspect it's just marketing. Only recommendation I have is to stop with sesame seeds (it's becoming a more common allergen and should be called out on the menu) and up the garlic on the garlic knots. No such thing as too much garlic.

Dropped in to NYPD Pizza (Chandler) to grab a quick slice, got two and decided to stay a while. I'm a New Yorker so I was pretty interested to see how comparable the pizza would be. New York has some of best pizza around and some might say the absolute best. Well, let me tell you, I was NOT disappointed! I chose a thin-crust sausage slice and a pepperoni slice, and neither had any shortage of toppings. And the flavor?! Yummy yummy with a kick of black pepper that made me smile (I love black pepper!). The atmosphere here was pleasant and the customer service welcoming. So glad I dropped by...it was sooo worth it!

This was an odd review for me. I added a point, deducted, then added a point, etc... I finally decided on all 5 pts. I had the 2 slice + drink special - ordered mushroom slices. Came out fresh and hot full of mushrooms and flavor. I added some parmesan and hot peppers and it was a total win! The cheesy knots were a home run, served hot with melted mozzarella on top w/lots of garlic! I'd come back just to have those again. Our server Joe was super nice and efficient!!! I noticed other guests came in and knew him by name when they greeted him! The minuses were my friend ordered a slice of the pepperoni pizza and I think it had been sitting for a while and wasn't the best, and tasted pretty bland compared to the mushroom slice I had. The music was a little jarring at times and would recommend resetting to something more appropriate for a dining experience. The restaurant was super clean and I'd definitely come back

My Arnold Palmer and empty pizza plate. It was a delicious pepperoni pizza with red onion.

Both were made to perfection. Great flavor and so tender. A perfect start to the dinner. We had the Caprese and Caesar Salad next. Both had solid flavors, but the Caesar was our favorite. What a treat. Exactly what I'm looking for in a Caesar salad. So good! The pesto on the Caprese was house made and so tasty. I want to try a pesto dish next time. My wife had the Sacchetti Porcini with truffle and it was light and perfectly balanced flavor. The pillows melted in your mouth. Will definitely have again. The Lobster Ravioli had a well balanced limoncello flavor and not too creamy. Cool striped pasta. Perfect for those not super hungry but wanting a unique dish that is sure to please. Steak Nicola was was cooked to perfection and had a suburb combination of black truffle, aus jus and prosciutto cotto to make it a memorable dish. I'm still craving it the day after. The cannelloni for dessert was perfectly Italian with awesome flavors. A perfectly compliment to an amazing dinner. This is a gem is Chandler!!! The prices are also definitely on the higher end across the menu. I don't think I've ever seen a Beef Wellington priced at $94 and the Cacio E Pepe was $42 with no protein! The table side cooking presentations were also extremely underwhelming and they leave them out and cover the cheese wheel with a towel which definitely ruins the anticipation. The service was also disappointing. Our waiter was new but kept using that as an excuse to everything that went wrong and they forgot every single thing we requested (butter for the bread, chili flakes for the pasta) & we had to ask others for it. We also made reservations online and it wasn't stated that we'd be sitting outside and patio dining isn't my preference in AZ in September.

Their tarragon ranch dressing was perfect with the mixed greens, the grape tomatoes, pepitas, and bacon crumbles...such a good salad! We shared their popular short ribs (they charged $2 for plate share) which were cooked to tender perfection and served over a creamy white bean puree. Delicious for sure! We finished with some of their Black Forest Cake which was the bomb! When we entered, we were advised to be seated wherever we liked with menus on a table to grab. Our server was over pretty quickly, and appreciated him offering an appetizer and entree suggestion. What We Ordered: - Cucumber Elderflower Spritz: I've been on a spritz kick since having one at the beginning of the year at Disney World. The perfect refreshing drink for a humid day after rain in July (2" in Apache Junction). Loved the cucumber and elderflower combination, and would definitely order again! - Shrimp Medina: The server recommended, and our favorite of the meal. The scampi butter with the heat of the red chili flakes was perfect. I'd honestly look to see if there is a pasta dish like this next time as that sounds like perfection. - La La Vodka: My friend ordered this, and said it was pretty good. She remarked how large it was and wish for a lunch portion that you could order half, but thankfully, we were heading back to her house after to be able to drop off leftovers. - Pasta Picante: This was recommended, but I wasn't all that fond of it. It was not really spicy, and I didn't like the sausage in the dish. It could have just been my preferences, but my friend ended up taking as leftovers her kids would enjoy. Overall, this place had both comfortable seating and comfort food. Italian is one of my favorite things to dine, and get that dopamine fix from pasta. I'll definitely return and explore another entree more suited to my preferences.

The sauce was nice and thick and coated the noodles really well. It had a big robust flavor but wasn't overpowering. I had the Chicken Saltimbocca. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side for my preference due to what tasted like a bit of balsamic, but I still enjoyed it. The chicken was well cooked and tender. We tried a cannoli for dessert. The thing was huge! Shell was thick and crunchy. Filling was moderately sweet with a subtle brightness to it (like a touch of lemon). Ends were dipped in chopped pistachio.
