On my last two visits, I added the peach-infused cold foam, and it takes the drink to another level. The flavors pair perfectly, and it's quickly become one of my favorite coffee drinks. The café itself is a great place to relax or get some work done. It's bright without feeling harsh, and there's plenty of seating, including both comfortable lounge-style chairs and standard tables and chairs. I've never had trouble finding a spot. The staff has been friendly on every visit, and my drinks have always come out quickly. I haven't had the chance to try the food yet, but based on my experience so far, I definitely plan to. The Arabian Sands has a light presence of cardamom and a hint of brown sugar sweetness. I would order this again, however, I'm looking forward to trying the Orange Apeel next. For a quick snack, I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese croissant. Nice portion size. Came out warm. Left nothing to be desired from a classic combination. Be sure to place your dishes in the "dirty dishes" bin before leaving. The shop was clean and they had several patrons who appeared to be regulars. Wi-Fi worked great (no lag). Perfect space for a meeting, get together, study place, reading a book, etc. They even have a Popbar connected that serves a variety of popsicles/frozen treats. I was specifically super excited to try their seasonal matcha special, which was made with horchata (also from Salud!) and strawberries, if I recall correctly. Unfortunately, we walked in only to find they were out of the supplies needed to make the drink. :( I was caught off guard and didn't know what to order, but the barista recommended a latte with maple flavor so I went with that. The interior was clean and spacious and had a relaxed and calm but energetic feeling to it. Good place to hang out or work quietly. There's a self-service area to spruce up or fix your drink or grab lids or stir sticks. Service was nice and my drink came out quickly. It was pretty good but not really the "right" drink for me. I like my stuff on the sweet side and this was much more balanced and coffee-forward. That said, it held its own against my sugar-craving taste buds and I drank most of it, which is usually the hallmark of good brew, lol. It's located right along 2nd Ave amongst all of the restaurant hubbub. Street parking, but if you're willing to take a stroll for a couple blocks, it's easy. This is one of the busier coffee shops in town, I would advise against seeking silence here. It's a shared space with "basic," a vintage clothing and art retailer which has awesome things made by local people. The people that worked there were so friendly. I came because I had to get that crème brûlée latte. It did not disappoint. One of the most delicious coffee drinks I've had in a long time. It tasted like a hug, perfectly caramel sweet, and fun to drink. It's not often that coffee gets turned into an interactive experience. The pastries looks great. The couch in the front window looked like an awesome spot to post up with some buddies. There were plenty of tables and chairs to work at. I will most certainly be back.
