Exceeded my expectations! I wasn't a huge fan of previous Brush location and I was little skeptical when making reservation here but I heard amazing things about the new location from my friends and made it out for our anniversary. Besides, they just got a michelin star so I was betting on that as well. The start was little delayed as the staff were getting ready, possibly since we went to the later slot of th night but once the courses started, everything was marvelous! Food had amazing presentation, back story, and flavor! Every course was unique, flavorful, and fascinating! Its what I have been waiting for, for an omakase! All was delicious but the most memorable were the fish filled bread, fatty eel, every dish with the prawn, uni, and dessert! Dessert has been one of the lacking components at my other fav spots such as Hawakaya and Mujo but here, its so refreshing and delicious! Also different in textures and types! I wish these would be available in their other pastry shops! Only one dish that was underwhelming was the fried squid. It was overcooked and I enjoyed the radish with the dashi sauce more. Overall, you'll be amazed and pleased at the end of the meal! Also super full! Some couples tapped out little earlier as they couldn't fit dessert which is crazy ^^ Can't wait to go back to try new seasonal menu!

I wasn't sure how all the flavors would come together, but everything surprisingly worked so well. Next, I ordered the Langoustine Roll with pressed rice. At first, I didn't think I was going to like it, but it ended up being sooo flavorful and incredibly easy to eat. If you have a smaller mouth like me, you don't have to worry about making a mess because the sushi was so soft and practically melted with every bite. Of course, I had to order their Casanova Roll since it's what they're best known for, and it definitely did not disappoint! It was on the sweeter side with plenty of sauce, which was perfect for my palate. Now onto the Miso Steak. I ordered it medium, but some bites toward the end were more well done. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either, so I personally wouldn't recommend it. Overall, I had a great experience here, but I do think the food is overpriced. Also, be prepared to squint a little at the menu because it is very dark inside!

My favorite sushi in Atlanta hands down. Been here 10 times or more (not joking). I'm worried that…read moreif I tell too many people about it, they'll get too popular and possibly raise prices. Law of supply and demand. But given the elevation in quality of life this establishment has provided me with across the years, I feel I owe them some good marketing through a review. If there was a sushi coefficient of freshness, quality, quantity, and cost, this place wins everyday. C= (Fr*Q*q*c) Fr: 9 Q: 8 q: 10 c: 10 C(Yokohama)= 7200 Don't get me wrong - the competition is fierce for delicious sushi (Fudo, MF sushi, Nobu, all the Omakase scenarios popping up in town). What this means is the cost (c) is way too high, giving it a low 1-5 in the equation. Also, quantity (q) is low, about 4-6. So, the resulting coefficient is very low overall. From my understanding, the fish here only comes from Japan, so it's good stuff - and they really load up the rolls (a lot of the time), and they have this deal on weekend for special rolls (25% off I think). So you do get the quality, quantity, and decent price (about $12-15 per specialty roll). The regular rolls are good too, and loaded with fish. E.g. spicy salmon/tuna. So, if you're looking to go crazy on some good sushi without restraint and without breaking the bank completely, this is your spot. family owned I believe, very nice and efficient service. Cozy/casual, not too fancy, but feels comfortable to dine in. No delivery unfortunately on any app, but that makes quality control better IMO. Thank you for your attention to this manner.

What a great deal - my friends and I decided to check it out and we had a great dinner. Servers were attentive and the food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the Samurai Roll, as well as the Chicken Karaage appetizer. The chicken was sooo good - perfectly, lightly fried with sauce to dip. Tender and flavorful! The Samurai Roll was substantial and I appreciate the generosity of the roll. It was topped with salmon, and usually when rolls are topped with fish, it's usually a pretty thin slice of fish, but these slices of salmon were quite thick in my opinion. The pieces of sushi themselves are also fairly thick - it was a big bite for me to eat each piece in one. I made a reservation in advance and the staff already had my table ready even though I was a little early. The table was already dressed with menus, chopsticks, and some small plates/sauce dishes. Love it when restaurants are on top of it!

Service was solid, and my favorite cocktail so far is the Black Lava. I will swear by (not just vouch for) the truffle salmon appetizer, and my favorite hot option is the baked lobster tempura. Gotta keep it real for a moment...bringing a large group there can be a tad more complicated, so plan accordingly. I would recommend it more for intimate occasions and gatherings. That said, there are plenty of paid lots surrounding the restaurant if you can't find street parking, so at least that part is easy! I loved my experience, and I can't wait to return.

That said, locals recommended it, and I usually love sushi as a post-flight meal since it's light and fresh. The ambiance is dreamy, and I really appreciated the attentive service and bar seating. I ordered an avocado ball with caviar and spicy tuna, which was lovely and beautifully plated. I'd also seen a foodie Instagrammer mention their off-menu crispy rice rolls, so I gave those a try. Unfortunately, they fell a bit flat for me. I ended up adding a lot of soy sauce since they sincerely lacked flavor. When the bill came, I realized this probably wasn't the best choice for a quick, light meal. The prices were comparable to California, but the quality didn't quite match. That said, the person sitting next to me mentioned she visits often and felt that the night was a bit off, so I'd be open to giving it another try next time I'm in town.

Like a lot of other omakase places the restaurant was a little hard to find since it's pretty much just a door with a small sign and a couple of windows. The service there was phenomenal and I loved the variety for dishes! We had the 17 course meal for $242/person after taxes and tip, which was a little expensive but seemed fair for Atlanta. We started with some apps and my favorite was the oysters. Then most of the courses were various nigiri and ofc my favorites were the fatty tuna and eel. I also really liked the uni even though I usually don't! The presentation for everything was gorgeous and some of the sushi was pretty unique with the flavor pairings. Dinner ended with a small sorbet as dessert and my mom and I were both stuffed. I'll definitely be back for a special occasion :)

The 15-course menu was a masterpiece from start to finish. Each piece felt like art -- stunning presentation followed by incredible flavor. One of the highlights was the Kimi Oboro, prepared using a 200-year-old vinegar technique -- simply remarkable. My sister loved every dish, even falling in love with the pickled ginger! The service was outstanding as well -- two servers took care of us throughout the evening, always greeting us with genuine smiles and impeccable manners. This was probably the best omakase experience I've ever had -- and I've had over a hundred. I'm so glad my sister's first omakase turned into an unforgettable memory. Huge thanks to everyone who served us last night. Highly recommend this place to both first-timers and seasoned sushi lovers alike!

Mom bought cupcakes for the celebration and we were informed by first, the hostess and then the manager that there was a $35 "Cake Cutting Fee". I would not have minded something of a fee but $35 was exorbitant so I took the cupcakes back to my car. This first impression left me with a bad taste. Dinner went well enough. I'm not a sushi person but I did have the Chicken Teriyaki. It was ok but nothing extraordinary. I've had better for less. The rest of my family (who love sushi) basically had the same impression about the sushi. our waiter was pleasant and tried really hard after I told him that our evening had started off badly with the manager. My personal highlight was the post dinner coffee which was brewed table side and of very good quality. One other policy that felt really pretentious in my opinion is that the restaurant has a policy of not allowing customers to take home food that might be left over from your meal. The menu states "Keep In Mind When Ordering"! If I've never been to your restaurant, I may not be aware of your portion sizes or any other number of factors that might not allow me to finish my meal including emergencies! Bottom Line, Average Food, Beautiful Building, Pretentious Policies. We won't return!!!
