We ordered: Exceptional (A+): Tuna Crisps Excellent/Very Good (A/A-): A5 Wagyu Sando, The Monroe Tuna (crispy rice), Burlesque Roll, Bluefin Maguro (nigiri), Seared Scallops Good (B+/B): Pork Ramen OK (B-/C+/C): Yuzu Cheesecake, Orange is the New Black (salmon) So most dishes we sampled were excellent. Their tuna crisps are to die for. But their acclaimed and award-winning pork ramen was merely decent. Before tipping, we paid $215 for a two-person meal (no alcohol, only water, 8 small dishes, and 1 dessert). If they had charged us at least 20% less, this would have been a 5-star meal.

Even with a last-minute reservation, the staff was extremely accommodating and made sure everything flowed smoothly for our group. One of the standout features is the hidden speakeasy tucked behind the double gray doors; such a beautiful, elegant space. The ambiance alone is worth the visit, and the drinks were just as impressive, crafted perfectly and definitely memorable. As for the food... absolutely incredible. I had the Casanova roll, the Linguinstuno roll, and the miso steak, and every single dish was flavorful and well-executed. I also tried the sea bass, and it was hands down one of the best things I tasted that night. Overall, if you're looking for a nice, upscale dining experience with great service, amazing food, and top-tier drinks, 8 Sushi is definitely the place to go.

They do have a credit card minimum and they don't take cash so you'll have to get more a little after dinner dessert here But they have shiso leaves, sashimi, ice cream, snacks and toys It's a good variety for the size and a nice stop before or after dinner at one of the restaurants above! The parking is minimal and in the back for wagaya. We are at chirori so parked in their spare lot before making a brief stop here

Prices here are pretty reasonable, so I'd recommend trying the place at least once! I really enjoyed the "kiss of Juju" roll here; the strawberries really added something to the flavor profile and made it really refreshing. We had crispy rice, agedashi tofu, pork gyoza, fried oysters, and the yellow jacket and kiss of juju roll, and it was all good. We finished off with the green tea ice cream at the end.

That said, locals recommended it, and I usually love sushi as a post-flight meal since it's light and fresh. The ambiance is dreamy, and I really appreciated the attentive service and bar seating. I ordered an avocado ball with caviar and spicy tuna, which was lovely and beautifully plated. I'd also seen a foodie Instagrammer mention their off-menu crispy rice rolls, so I gave those a try. Unfortunately, they fell a bit flat for me. I ended up adding a lot of soy sauce since they sincerely lacked flavor. When the bill came, I realized this probably wasn't the best choice for a quick, light meal. The prices were comparable to California, but the quality didn't quite match. That said, the person sitting next to me mentioned she visits often and felt that the night was a bit off, so I'd be open to giving it another try next time I'm in town.

The lobster sauce was so so good and addicting! I would say the tempura was just a little soggy and oily but still good sauce. The rolls were all so good and fresh! My favorite was definitely the otoro ! The rice was the perfect amount too! The otoro was so fatty and fresh! The cod was so tender and literally melted off the fork. The service was friendly and attentive! Overall such a great spot! The only downside is that they don't validate parking !

Gorgeoussssss! I had my monthly girls' night out at Yuji, and I'm so glad we voted on this spot…read more I've passed it on the Beltline way too many times. It's in a very walkable area if you happen to be day-chilling on the Beltline, so parking is truly up to you. BUT if you're coming specifically for Yuji, there's a paid parking deck right next door with decent pricing (if memory serves, the first 2 hours are free, then maybe $10 after?). And if you get lucky, there's street parking! A friend and I arrived a little earlier than our group and sat at the bar for our first drink. The decor is so soft and modern, and the plush bar seats were definitely a plus. The cocktail menu was very balanced in my opinion, with something for everyone. If you have a specific taste, definitely talk to the bartender or server for guidance before ordering. I believe I had a cocktail called Smoking Jacket that was delicious! We were seated promptly at our reservation time and had a great time. I'll need to go back to try the rolls because I was too caught up in the miso soup with crab meat, the baked lobster tempura, and the fatty salmon sashimi. The only thing I would say is that service dragged near the end when we had to wait a while before receiving our checks. Everyone had been done for a while, but I also understand that restaurants have pops of business and volume, so it wasn't a big deal. Still one of my favorite sushi experiences this year!
