I live in the area and had always driven by O'Hara's many times. It was my daughter's birthday, and we were driving home from her optometrist's appointment, when we were again about to pass by, but I decided to finally stop in, at the last moment, and I'm glad I did! We sat at the bar, since it was mid afternoon. The bartender was quite friendly and served us well. The bar, and the restaurant, had a warm and cozy feeling. I had one of the hamburgers with a mix of French fries and onion rings (server's suggestion) and it was medium rare, just as I had ordered it. It was quite delicious and filling. My daughter had cheese pizza, which looked okay (I didn't try it). All in all, I will be dropping in again! read more

I saw the size of Shepard's pie dish and was two portions, the beef stew is huge, outstanding. Chicken parm with pasta huge... I'd enjoy 1/2-2/3 of portion and lower price now a-days . All is good, beers, food, vibes, staff. 16 oz beers look small with head on top. I wasn't given the specials menu with the normal menu... We had such a great experience tonight at O'Hara's thanks to our server, Michael! I was dining with my 5-year-old daughter, and he treated her like absolute royalty. I'm pretty sure she thinks she owns the place now. He, along with all the staff at O'Haras, is kind, funny, and incredibly patient with my daughter (which any parent knows is a rare superpower). This was our first visit to O'Hara's as we were in town from CT for an appointment. We chose thanks to a Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint! We started with the pretzel bites and a curl of French onion soup (so sad I didn't get a photo). Both delicious although the cheese sauce for the pretzel bites was a bit thin - the flavor was there though. The French onion soup was delicious! The first spoonful made my tastebuds dance! The bread in the soup tasted like rye which ended up being a nice touch. They also did not skimp on the cheese! For our meals, my wife got the French dip sandwich handheld which she enjoyed. She was only able to finish half. I couldn't decide and asked our waitress to decide for me from shepherd's pie, chicken pot pie, and the London broil. She talked me into the shepherd's pie due to the weather outside and the fact that it is so big, I would definitely get to take home leftovers. This dish was huge! From the first spoonful, the taste of the sirloin/potato/demiglace was perfect. This is definitely a hearty dish worthy of a winter's night! From the smile on the host's face when we walked in, the ambience with the wood, windows, and lights, and our wonderful (and attentive) waitress, our visit to O'Hara's was definitely one we would like to replicate! read more

Were you born without taste buds? Do you prefer your food completely unseasoned? Do you like your macaroni and cheese powdered and directly out of a box? If you answered yes to one of more of these, Oharas is the place for you. From beginning to end, this meal was aggressively mediocre. With the exception of the chili everything is basically unseasoned. I didn't realize the price of salt and pepper was so high that we needed to start skimping. All of the ingredients (except the obviously kraft Mac and cheese) seemed to be of ok enough quality, but overall, this was a meal I would have been satisfied with, if served on an airplane. Our server left something to be desired, and the ambiance pretty good. Overall, wouldn't recommend unless you really don't care what you are eating. Truthfully, the food was t disgusting, so probably they should be a 2.5/5 stars, but I don't think they earned a round up. read more

Had to try the famous chicken Cesar pizza because who doesn't like salad on a pizza? It literally tastes like how it seems but weirdly good, and there's so much cheese on top I think that's the main reason I like it. Their steak tips is also delicious, the steak is well marinated filled with rich red winey flavors. Fast and high energy friendly service with a small town neighborhood sports bar ambiance. Do not come here unless you're prepared for mediocre food and terrible service. I chose this place as a midpoint to meet an old friend, but the experience was disappointing from the start. She arrived before me and was not allowed to sit anywhere -- not even at the bar -- until I showed up, which felt unnecessarily rigid and unwelcoming, especially since the place was almost completely empty. While the wait to place our order was long, we didn't mind at first because we were enjoying catching up. What truly ruined the visit was the manager's rude, visibly stressed behavior, yelling and pointing the entire night as staff and customers. Our wine glasses were even taken away despite still having wine in them, and we brought a check, because "other people were waiting", when there was clearly no one waiting to be seated, (it was 8:00 pm on a stormy, cold night). Please consider any other establishment in the area prior to this one. read more

Always solid. This place is run so well. People who work there are professional but treat you like family. Whether you order from the specials menu (and I encourage you to check them out-they are always good) or order one of their standards you will be pleased. O'Hara's Pub is a fabulous restaurant that really caters to their guests. My friends and I frequent O'Haras' and enjoy scrumptious meals. This evening on 10/5/25 I had a delicious curried chicken. I couldn't decide to have the curry sauce or the sesame sauce with my meal. Michael O'Malley really catered to me with a smile, and brought both sauces for me to chose. What made this meal truly great was this conscientious, and efficient waiter who served me at my table. The food was excellent! Our table had 4 different entrees-one of them gluten-free. Everybody was pleased with their choice. Our server was friendly and efficient. The prices were reasonable. I have frequented O'Hara's over the past 10-15 yrs, and it has always been good. This evening, however, I experienced a server whose level of greatness could only be experienced in Boston, MA. Boston has its greats. There's Ted Williams, Big Papi, and even Larry Bird. But for the sheer glory of the flying goal by Bobby Orr in the world of pub fare, the name Michael O'Malley must be enshrined. The wicked backhand delivery of three drinks, the sliding motion of our plate of sweet potato fries, the trash-talking around Brussel sprouts and my upsetting my dinner date: such a performance has never been so coolly delivered in the annals of pub dining. This only about the food. First time trying O'Hara begging told by friends and family that their burgers were amazing. Ordered four burgers for my friends the other day. It was a BIG disappointmen. The chef did not season the burger meat with NOTHING. No salt no pepper. Not to mention the fires where also had no salt worst for the first time trying out the burgers at O'Hara. read more

My husband and I stopped in at Ohara's for a quick lunch. My husband ordered a Reuben and I got the cob salad. We also got a bowl of chili that arrived smothered in melted cheese and surrounded by crispy corn chips. Went their on a Saturday night at prime time and even with the crowd we were greeted warmly. Lively place with great food. My daughter, who has given up on ordering pizzas felt like a chicken caesar pizza and decided to go for it. She loved the pizza. The crust was cooked perfectly with a generous portion of chicken and fresh slices of parmesan. I loved the chicken pot pie and the others we were with really enjoyed their food. Ordered buffalo chicken sandwich. Absolutely worst food I've had in years. Could not tell if that fried thing in the roll was a skinny piece of veal or chicken. I met a friend for appetizers and drinks. The food was terrific. O'Hara's has a great selection of appetizers. In addition, what or who was so appreciated was our server, Michael O'Malley. He had no trouble being kind and patient with us even though we were not eating dinner. I have had him as a server before and he is consistently friendly and available. Whenever I have needed anything, he is always in view. He also is great at anticipating timing of returning to the table to see if anything is needed. While my mom and I enjoyed our Sunday lunch at O'Hara's, I will be honest and say it is nothing to particularly write home about.. so I'll write a Yelp review instead ;). This is the kind of place you'll stop by once in your life for a solid meal, but not really reminisce on. We came in on a Sunday afternoon and were able to be seated right away despite a full house. It is a bit cramped when full, and getting out of your seat is a bit hard. Despite this, the service we received was pretty good. The waitress was fast and attentive, and was very helpful in helping us navigate the menu. I opted for a cheeseburger with Pepper Jack, bacon, and avocado with a side of fries. The burger was cooked very well and the Pepper Jack was a fantastic compliment. I enjoyed the French fries because they weren't greasy, yet still had a good crunch. read more

Tonight I had a grain bowl with farrow, roasted sweet potatoes, roasted beets, broccolini, and corn, served with a lemon vinaigrette.
