A no frills pub service. Food was good and delicious. The drinks were the standout items!

Paddy's decor was very fun, especially if you love dogs. Came here for cocktails, got the Pretty in Pink (raspberry vodka cocktail) and Irish coffee, both were delicious. Service was fast. Would definitely be coming here again to try out their food selection.

Discovered from Phantom Gourmet so wanted to try it on a Saturday night for dinner. They have a special menu that they change every Sunday which is neat. So ordered from that menu instead but I know this place is known for burgers and pizza. Ordered the calamari it was crispy. The clam chowder was way too salty and we had to tell them to take it off our bill. The main entree of chicken and butternut squash was not too bad. Service was fantastic, very homey and friendly.

    Those onion rings were fantastic.

Second review: repeat of my first review on that it's still a great place to eat in Boston. love this place. Comfort food plus. I love their bang bang shrimp, but the meatloaf is also great. I had their special last night. Habanero salmon & it was fantastic. It wasn't too very hot, so don't think it's going to bite. The fish was fantastic. I also had sweet potatoes & their butternut squash along with my dinner. Both great on a cold night in Boston. Oh don't know how I forgot the onion rings. They're incredible! And our server was also amazing.

Fantastic cozy dim lit Irish pub with big portions of food and nice drinks. Plenty of tables and room at the bar. Irish nachos, fish and chips, and the Reuben all great. 16 oz and 20 oz imperial pours available. Guinness a bit cold but very smooth.

Great spot if you're looking for comfort pub food. I got the clam chowder and cherry bomb burger, and both were great. We did have to wait like 15 minutes for a table since it was packed but it went by quick. Our server was attentive and we didn't wait long for our meals.

" The food here is pretty tasty and good prices " The food here is pretty tasty with a good size portion and good prices . The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The vibe is super friendly and nice . Parking is not too bad . A metered parking across the street or street metered parking . Just always please read the signs .

Yelp never fails me. This little gem has great food with a sweet portion size!! Homemade shoe string onion rings!! The Lobsta Roll was over flowing. I ordered to go. They packed everything I needed to succeed this situation.

Loved the pub vibe with lots of vintage photos on the wall. Seated quickly on a Friday night at 7:30. Orders taken and delivered promptly. Cordial service. Food tasted fresh with no major problems. Drinks, Paloma and Watermelon mule, tasted watered down, heavy on the seltzer. Not very sweet. Satisfactory Nashville chicken sandwich with equally unremarkable onion rings. Decent lobster roll and sweet potato fries. Steak tips tasted good and came as ordered, medium rare. House made Mac and cheese tasted good.

I joined a friend today at this restaurant/pub and we had an enjoyable time. This place is cozy and friendly. The people who showed us to our seat let us know about a little lip on the floor to watch out for and our server Adam was very helpful and prompt when we needed something. We even asked for his thoughts on the appetizer we were choosing and he gave us exactly what we wanted to hear. We chose the Irish Nachos as an appetizer and they were very delicious. Our meals and drinks came in a timely manner and very good too. We also had some desserts too before we left. Parking for this restaurant is across the street and gets filled quickly since it is not a big parking lot. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good meal.

Right in the corner of Newton is this cute little Irish tavern, with both friendly service despite the bustling and tight atmosphere. Plenty of parking all around, with a metered lot right across the street. Food was fantastic! The beef stew was pretty flavorful, with the meat essentially melting in my mouth and the stew itself being just the right amount of salty and savory - making it a pretty damn good comfort for a cold night. As for the cherry bomb burger, it was pretty flavorful with the cherry peppers, giving it a nice kick. The fries, on the other hand, were pretty satisfying to much on - and surprisingly also paired well with the stew Will definitely come back for more!

Great bar! Extremely friendly staff, food came out quickly and was delicious. The restaurant really has a local feel, the bartenders knew most of the people that were coming in. Great family atmosphere.

The Shaking sauce was absolute perfection. The barlic was probably delicious but didn't even compare with the amount of flavor in the shaking sauce. I think the lobster roll was a lobster salad and I really really enjoyed it. For food, we ordered the jumbo seafood boil which came with snow crab, crawfish, shrimp, mussels, potatoes, corn, and we added sausage! We got it with the regular cajun sauce and it was delishhh. The sauce is a classic you can't go wrong with! My only wish is that the snow crab was bigger / meatier but everything else was in the boil great. We also ordered garlic noodles, mac and cheese, and fried pickles. The garlic noodles are fine but not great. It tastes like cheap takeout noodles and I wouldn't get it again. Similarly, the mac and cheese is also just fine. I actually liked the fried pickles though because batter was seasoned well but just a little salty. If you come here, get ready to eat messy! Thankfully they give you bibs and gloves so you can eat comfortably. Next time I want to try the Tom Yum sauce.

I've had mixed service experiences when previously dining at their bar. I asked for a table since I saw many open and was told they didn't have tables for one. As a single female diner, this happens at many restaurants. I suggested it wasn't the best idea to force single females to sit at the bar if tables were available. The two female employees didn't say no tables were available or offer suggestions (such as having me wait for an open table or reserving a table for me within 30 mins). A man came over to help- later identifying himself as the manager. He said nothing was available for one and he clarified that all tables were reserved. Again, no offer to have me wait for a table. I walked around and there were no seats open at the bar. I did photograph many open tables that may have been reserved. I also checked the reservation system after leaving- they could have offered me a later reservation as demonstrated by the photo. But they didn't. Again it seemed there was little interest in a solo diner except at the bar. It was clear they didn't need or want the solo business. My advice is to make a reservation and perhaps consider other nearby options when dining solo. The food has been good during my previous visits but this type of experience sours that memory.
