Today I had the pleasure of being assisted by Manager Luis and employee Ester, who was in training. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile and nothing but kindness and wonderful service! Luis went out to my car and was able to easily access the burnt out brake light, Ester came with and watched as Luis explained things to her - he was a great teacher. When I asked multiple questions to him, he always replied 'yes, ma'am'. Nice to see such nice manners by young people today... There is another 'chain auto parts store' that recently opened literally about 1/8 of a mile down Smoky Hill Road.....I have been going to this O'Reilly's I would guess for about 15 years which is about when they originally opened. No need to even think about going to the new competitor when I have always gotten 5 star service from O'Reilly's! Thank you for your awesomeness! read more

Went in to get an exhaust flange and didn't have any. Asked to look one up and the Old Man behind the counter said he could order one, but had a bad attitude about it and was pissed. Guess customer service isn't in his vocabulary. Lost my business and will definitely te everyone I know. read more

We're trying to get his license plates on but the front portion is tricky. I bought some nuts and bolts but they didn't work. The associate looked at the bumper and he opened the package of the license plate bracket to check the fit. It didn't work but he suggested an alternative solution which I appreciated. I purchased a package which should have included (2) windshield washer replacement nozzles, which cost an outrageous $30. The only reason I purchased now is because I'm on a road trip, so I was hoping not to have to order the part online (although it only cost $10 on Amazon.) Upon returning to the car, I noticed there was only (1) nozzle in the package. Daniel O. (Manager? Assistant manager?) was extremely rude when I returned to the store less than 5 minutes later to return the part. I asked for my money back and mentioned I'd just have to get it online later, after I get home from my trip. He interrupted me, telling me to "calm down" (I wasn't even upset at that time) and then proceeded to tell me I could have a $12 discount on the part (didn't ask for a discount, just wanted my money back.) The entire exchange he was short with me, interrupting me and talking down to me. He did honor a military discount, which was the only positive thing I can say about the experience. All I was doing was returning a dead battery, he was finger punching the keys on the keyboard, he was angry at something. I'm sorry I went into the store. Don't waste your time at this store. The two different sales people at this store who have helped me the two times I went in are not knowledgeable on basic, common auto parts, and one of those people is dishonest. Another employee is downright unhelpful and rude. I went in to purchase a length of power steering hose from their bulk spools I needed for a tractor. The salesperson went and cut the length and began ringing me up, and I noticed that it was fuel injector hose. I pointed out the mistake, and the salesperson said, "Power steering hose and fuel injector hose are the same thing. You'll be fine." What? Power steering hose is hydraulic hose designed to withstand oil at approx. 400 psi. The fuel injection hose the person tried to sell me was designed to withstand gas at 50 psi, printed on the hose. So not only did he lie to me, but when I asked for the actual p/s hose, he told me they were out of stock and sent me on my way. If this person has sold that fuel hose to other people in place of power steering hose, he could cause a fire when that hose fails and sends oil flying onto hot exhaust, or he could at least strand the person somewhere if parts fail when the fluid drains. I was in a jamb and needed a common brake wheel cylinder. This store is nearby, so I went in even though I wasn't confident after the above hose episode. A different salesperson had tremendous difficulty even locating the wheel cylinder. Eventually, after about five minutes of searching, the person told me that my truck was not equipped with that part! "Oh, you mean this part," I said as I removed the old wheel cylinder from my pocket and set in on the counter. I ended up having to help search their computer database, directing the employee where to go, to find the part. They should have paid me. So things as simple as power steering hose and a wheel cylinder stumped two of the salespeople in this store. I don't even want to find out what happens if someone requires more complex parts. And the worst salesperson of them all. Mr. cowboy hats. A man works there who has a truck with its dashboard covered with cowboy hats, and I've heard him both times I was in bragging to customers about his cowboy hat collection he keeps in his truck. The time I was in the store trying to get help with the power steering hose, I walked toward him for help, and he looked at me, turned around, and walked into the back behind the parts racks. I had to wait for another salesperson. And the time the other salesperson was having difficult locating the wheel cylinder, he stood at a nearby register with no customers in sight and did nothing to help. He just thumbed at his big belt buckle. Don't get me wrong, I wear a cowboy hat and actually use it to keep the sun off of my face when I'm working for a living instead of keeping the sun off my dashboard. This guy seems to wear them to convince people he knows something about mechanics and the lifestyle of people who depend on knowledgeable parts salesmen, but he in fact ignored me and his fellow employee. Find another auto parts store if you want quality parts the first time around. Napa in Parker has a great group of people working there. I gave this O'Reilly a fair chance, but they don't know what they're doing, and some employees don't seem to even want to sell auto parts. read more

Jeremy at O'Reilly was super helpful. Brought in two nearly dead batteries to have them recharged. After the first battery passed I put it back in my Toyota and brought the car over. He checked the alternator and starter to see if they were the true cause of the car not starting. Then checked the oil (which turned out to be WAY low) and coolant (a bit low) to make sure that all was running as it should. Huge kudos to Jeremy and taking extra time to help us out and making sure we were fixing the right problem and giving the car a once over! read more
