I opened up an old box I found in the closet and there were my watches. They truly brought back so many memories when I found them. Each one has a very special meaning from a special period in my life. Over the last month I decided to start wearing my watches again. I took the one that is the most important to me to Batteries Plus, for new life. I was so pleased with the value, friendly service and efficiency that I've taken my other watches in too. Now I wear a timepiece just about every day and I don't have to grab my phone out of my pocket for the time anymore. It really is nice to just turn your wrist over for the time of day. It was a weekend and they can only program keys on M-F. He then proceeded to cut the 3 keys after waiting for 3 hours. It was only $33, but for 3 hours?? Funny because they asked me to review my service 3 times, on the 3rd time I gave them this horrible review....don't ask over and over if the customer doesn't respond!

I brought in the old battery with the receipt the same day. Left with a fresh battery in under 4 minutes! Very no nonsense local small business which our family will absolutely be using for our vehicle's batteries from now on. None of the upselling and doing all kinds of paperwork like we are used to at those other big corporate places. A well run local business that is pleasant to work with and stands behind their product warranty.

When I called for a refund, Steve spent a considerable amount of time defending himself and putting everything in writing in a long email to avoid a losing any $$ instead of a simple compromise. He charged us full pop after he got the battery back, claiming to have tested it. Which no one couldn't verify. It's a shame that he spent all that time quibbling over $130 instead of focusing on any kind of customer service. Not someone I would want to do business with again. If the operate this way, they won't be in business much longer anyway.

So I would not be able to buy backup batteries from Dell. But what might work was an external battery/power source. This is precisely what The Battery Geeks specialize in. Since this computer was so new on Dell, even Dell was not prepared to answer questions as to Voltage, Amps, plug inner and outer diameters. So I was lucky that Steve had the patience and interest to sleuth this out with me. In the end, we were able to determine that Dell had designed an beautiful computer (the XPS 15 Touch - 9350) that was a serious power suck. He had a $300 external battery but it would be sucked of power within an hour ... and I would need 6 of them to cover the 6 hours of extra battery time I needed. Normally, a high capacity computer battery will cover you for 3 hours and cost you ~$150-$175 each. Sadly, the only solution was to return the computer to Dell. But Steve spent an hour being very helpful and informative. He knew I was looking for a reasonable solution so I could keep this computer. He wasn't able to sell me anything (not his fault) but, the almost-customer service was awesome! He knows his battery solutions!

I've actually gone to a place and had assistance from a woman when I typically think that this job growing up it's a guy job. As I continue to grow up as a older adult, I realize that we are such powerful woman. I appreciate the two ladies that helped me out today and getting my car back up and running. Being able to be knowledgeable of how to navigate and use our resources is very key and should never be restricted to gender setting. I felt not only happy to write this review about the ladies who helped me today, but I want to encourage us as women that we should never continue to limit what we know is accessible to us as women. We don't have to live in the stereotype that I have grown up in where men have a certain job and women have a certain job. Thankfully, help arrived before I had time to spiral into Googling "How to survive permanently stranded in your driveway." The roadside assistance technician showed up calm, professional, and completely unfazed by my dramatic retelling of events. Within minutes, they diagnosed the issue, got things sorted out, and brought my car back to life like some kind of automotive wizard. What could have turned into a full‑blown inconvenience (or emotional breakdown) ended up being quick and painless. No lectures, no eye‑rolling...just efficient help and a running vehicle again. The car was not tired, but the battery was a bit weak. While roadside service was free through our insurance plan, we had to pay for battery, which was reasonably priced. Thanks to roadside assistance, my car is no longer staging protests, and I can once again go about my day pretending this never happened. When I got to AutoZone, they didn't even have a 5yr battery for my truck. The 4yr they had they said "would work" but wasn't fitted properly for my vehicle so "might move around" (say what???). AND their batteries were more expensive. So I called Jimmel and he offered to meet me at my house where he got me taken care of in a jiffy. Better batter, lower price, more convenient and it comes with the same warranty you'd get when buying at a store like Auto Zone or anywhere else.
