Waited about 10 min for someone to come out from the back. He refused to sell them to me and said they were for commercial clients only. He said they are intense batteries and as such couldn't sell them to me. He said he had some house brand batteries instead that were the same but could be sold to consumers and were even cheaper! So he runs around the store and grabs a different six pack of the exact same type of battery. He goes to ring them up and it's $22. I'm like what the hell? He apologies, walks around the counter, goes to where the batteries I grabbed originally were, takes the $3.99 price tag off the wall, crumples it up and put it in his pocket. He then comes back around the counter to tell me he won't reduce the price from $22. WTH? It was like being in the twilight zone.

The lifetime warranty that is complained about elsewhere is actually a good deal and I've found all locations honor it. It depends on your key fob. I have one in which the battery lasts forever so I didn't get the warranty on that one, but the other fob the battery drains every couple of months or so and this has been totally worth it.

I could not get off the back battery plate and asked store rep for assistance. The rep get the old battery out and replaced with new fresh battery in about 1 minute. I asked what I owed and was presented a $17.35 bill. I was not informed there was a charge for putting in the 3.00 battery. I did pay the bill and lodged a complaint with Battery Plus Corporate. To my great surprise Matt, the Store Manager, said he agreed with my assessment, had a meeting to instruct everyone to inform work costs before proceeding, and said that he would give me a full refund which he did on 2-4-2026. I am quite pleased that Matt was so forthright in giving my full purchase price back. I give high kudos to Matt and all the Batteries Plus store personnel.
