Sam somebody that comes into O'Reillys 3 to 4 times a week practically every location around the Valley treats me extremely well knows what they're doing is extremely knowledgeable. It seems to be the store on Devonshire Daniel and the lack of other employees seem to be life-threatening and hostile when it comes to Getting your oil can jump in the disposable dumping oil dispensary when they try to say that it's crossed to contaminated they're really holding back someone's bread someone's food on the table somebody's business of operation. It's really the lack of common sense to take the oil and put it in the dispensary whether there's coolant transmission fluid motor fluid. It's a proper way of disposal fluid so people don't litter around Complex and create bad toxic things for the world nobody needs to dump legally as long as O'Reilly dumps the oil Daniel seems to lack the common sense of dumping and disposable oil properly this store must be properly supervised and managed. Employee with the big glasses can't read or listen, had to go 3 times to replace my battery. Missed the number by 1, simple, understandable exchange. Then I went the second time, but instead of listening that the number was off he sold me on a whole different battery. Went home and it didn't fit again. When talking the third time he lied to the manager saying I brought back the correct one the first time. Then the manager decided it was appropriate to lie to my face about a conversation we had on the phone, stating he wasn't there which I know is a lie cuz he was there the first and second time I went in, and the only employee with an accent at the time. Moronic service and all he could do is tell me I was wrong, I know how to change a battery I just don't know the sizing, that why I asked "the experts". This is a legit location, the employee that helped us was very knowledgeable, efficient, and sincere. We had an issue with our car battery and they came out gave a test, printed out a quote for the battery replacement. Due to the fact that our car requires a specific type of battery they advised us to go to the dealership. I really appreciate that kind of transparency and help. This location has plenty of parking in front. There seem to be a bunch of regulars who come in for specific parts and what not. Everyone seems to know each other. Fairly safe environment. Large store, well stocked, and a few good employees working hard and helping everyone out. Fantastic surprise to see a well run store with quality products, service, and customer service. I have ordered thousands of dollars in parts in the last two years and I will be going a new direction after being told twice we don't have the money to return my parts and the end of day. The biggest downside to this location is the tiny parking lot that's attached to it. There have definitely been multiple times when I haven't been able to find parking because either all the spots are taken or people have parked so poorly that they are taking up multiple spots. It's really aggravating. Especially since when I have to go to O'Reilly it's because I need to just quickly run in and grab something. Finding parking can often add a good 5 minutes to my trip. But the customer service here is good. I've never had any bad experiences with employees. I have, however, noticed that sometimes inventory on basic things (i.e. headlamp bulbs) have been slim. You'd think something like these would always be plentiful as they don't take up a lot of shelf space & would be in high demand. However, there have been at least twice I've come in and found they were missing something super simple, forcing me to go to a different store. read more

Short version: Excellent, friendly service, helped me install the parts. Long version: I needed new wiper blades for my 2011 BMW. The ones that I had bought for $20 at Walmart didn't work. The dealership quoted me $60. Checking Amazon everyone raved about Bosch ICON blades and they were $37+tax. I stepped into my local O'Reilly and was immediately greeted with a nice hello and a "how can I help you". The woman gave me a few options and a recommendation. They were running a special on Bosch ICON blades, $40 for the set after the $8 off, which was the same price as some of the other brands. The woman was nice enough to offer to install them for me (I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a guy who doesn't know anything about car care). Within minutes I was driving away with really high quality blades for about the same price as on Amazon, installed much faster than it would have taken me to figure out. Moral of the story, sometimes it pays to support your local store, because they have specials that bring the price within range of Amazon, and you can't beat the friendly, personal experience in this store. This is actually my second trip here, the first trip a year ago was for coolant, and they talked me through how and why to add it. Saved me a trip to the mechanic. read more

I went into this O'Reilly's to get replacement wiper blades for my Honda. I'm not a gearhead, but I like to do as much maintenance as I can by myself, so I need some guidance when I do little things like this. Anyway, they had a digital catalog to look up the correct part for your make and model, so I bought the wipers and was working through installing them in the parking lot when one of the employees was kind enough to come over and help me out. I also noticed he was helping a few other people, including one person who was trying to find a fault in his alternator. Well organized, friendly staff, awesome service. Been comin here since it was Kragen and since the reseda Devonshire Kragen closed. They have about the same selection and quality of products as auto zone and pep boys. It just seems more personal here. Most recently I took a corolla to the dealer to have some recalls done, they told me I needed a water pump. I was skeptical so I went to Oreilly. I'm telling Tim about the year make and model and the rattle I hear. He tells me an easy way to diagnose a bad water pump and asks if I wanted to check my car outside. Sure enough the signs he mentioned are present and the dealer diagnoses is confirmed. They had all the parts and even explained the procedure of how to install them. Honest and simple customer service. I believe my install will be easy or at least without surprises and the old part will have needed to be replaced. If not I'll edit this post. read more

So I've been to this place a few times, and so far every time has been a great experience. I went to get my check engine light examined and I was promptly helped without the "attitude" that I have received at other places (cough...cough... Autozone). I went another time to get a new battery, and they were able to change it for me as an added bonus (keep in mind they will do this under the conditions that it is not busy, your vehicle is not complicated to change, and that you don't act like an entitled ass hat). I even went once just to get change for the car wash right across the street and they did it no problem. Keep it up guys! read more
