Marvin refused to honor their 30 day return policy. This location had me on hold on the phone for over 30 minutes before. Terrible customer service. I called corporate and they apologized for the employees attitude and behavior. They provided a return label to return the filter and a discount code for future purchases since this store refused to honor their policy. Marvin was so set on denying me my return yet corporate was able to provided it instantly with a simple phone call. I called the store at 7:23pm to make sure they had a tool I needed in stock , I came all the way from Fontana after they confirmed it was available. After I got there 30 minutes later they couldn't find it anywhere . They didn't know who answered the call . I came for nothing , seems like I was better off just showing up to get the tool I needed rather than calling to make sure it's in stock or they'll lose it before you get there . Since I live in Chino Hills I called the Chino Hills store to see if they can turn my drums from my 2005 Tundra. They told me that their machine is broken. So, I decided rather than call the Chino store I would just drive there since how can two stores have broken equipment. Once I got there, I brought the heavy drum in to the store. I arrived at 5:00 PM (10/21/2022) and waited patiently for my turn. Once I go to the front counter a young man behind the counter asked his manager if we can turn the drums. The manager says it is only the two of us and he can't leave the front of the store and I will need to come back tomorrow. The manager did not seem to have any care in helping me out. I'm like you close at 11:00 PM. Nope no interest in helping me out. It was not like he could not go to the back when he had a chance and start the cuts go to the front and go back to check on them. It was clear he had no interest in helping. I am not sure why you offer a service if you will not provide the service. I did not need them right then and there. I could have come back a few hours later. Honestly you could not get two drums turned in 6 hours, LAME! The young man behind the counter did try helping me out by calling 4 different store and all were the same. Can't do it today or our machine is broken. This just tells me they do not want to do it. I went back to my car and started calling other stores while sitting the parking lot. I was getting the same thing the young man that tried helping me was getting. Our machine is broken or come in tomorrow. Finally, I called the Upland store and spoke to the store manager Eduardo, he was very professional and told me to come on in and he would have them done before close. And that is exactly what I did, and his review will come next. Going from Chino Hills to Upland was a long drive considering there any several of these stores in between and all of them made excuses why they could not do it. All dashboard lights on my Subaru Outback came on this morning and I visited your store for this reason. I had previously visited Auto Zone on Riverside in Chino just a couple of minutes before but the service was lacking. They refused to run the diagnostic tool - told me I needed to do it myself. I had no clue what to do and Youtube was not much help. So I left undiagnosed. I decided to go to Oreilly's and they did everything the incompetent employee at AutoZone was not able to do. Needless to say I am a forever O'Reilly customer. The employee went above and beyond for me and I appreciate him so much. Terrible location. Walked in to return chains and the first question is "Do you have a mask?" I reply "No, do you have one I can use?" they reply "No, you can't be in here without a mask." Huh?? As a company you should be providing a mask every other company i have been to provides masks... My father, who is 78 yrs old with limited mobility, went into the store to purchase a replacement part. That store does not use plexiglass barriers for COVID safety, instead the store uses a rope barrier 3+ feet from the counter. My father was unable to reach the counter to hand the employee the small part he needed. As a result, he tossed the part onto the counter. The small part bounced and fell to the floor next to the employee. A second employee named Michael, who was not involved in the interaction, saw this as an act of aggression by my father. Despite my father explaining why he tossed the part onto the counter and apologizing for doing so, Michael berated and disrespectfully chastised my elderly father for tossing the part. Michael said to my father, "you are old, you should know better". Michael then informed my father that O'Reilly Auto Parts would not assist him and he had to leave the store. O'Reilly Auto Parts discriminates against elderly customers and should be held accountable. read more

Call them up at about 8:50 they say they close at 9:00 and if I didn't make it in time I'd have to wait till tomorrow. I went to O'Reilly Auto Parts for a couple of things. I asked a couple of questions: 1) can you please check to see which fuse is out on my car because my outlet isn't working? Response from the two men at the counter (and may I add, there were no other customers in the store): Nope 2) can you please tell me or help me find where my fuse box is? Response: Nope 3) can you please tell me what kind of brake fluid my car takes? Response: It says it on the cap. Customer service was not helpful at all. I went to Autozone in Chino Hills, they had customers in the store and still called for someone to help me. The young man found the fuse box, found the fuse that needed changing and changed it!! I bought a fuel filter for my car and when installing it, the threading for the #1 fuel line did not match. After i took it out i went to return the filter. I was surprised by the cashier's words. "You didn't do it right, you cross threaded it. I shouldn't even give you a refund for this." I dont care if it was my fault and caused a cross thread. You dont belittle your customers and make them feel like idiots. Because of this, I won't be back and I wont reccomend O'Reilly's to anybody O'Reilly should teach some customer service. About October 11th of 2017 I came in to order some ball joints from this fuckers for my Tacoma. I wanted some good greasable joints since I go 4x4 offloading a lot and they tend to go bad sooner. Well the guy showed me a couple options but they where special order and they where also pricey. I ordered the upper two ball joints first, the brand was Pro Forged since, I came back 2 weeks later to buy the lower 2 ball joints same brand, but they told me they couldn't get pro forged no more so they got me rear parts brand witch was also greasable. Long story short I ended having them installed 3 months later since the labor was not cheap I had to save up. The mechanic tells me when he was pressing them that they where the wrong ball joints, O'Reillys gave me the wrong parts for my truck, so he said I'll get them for you and go return this to the store, I still had the recipe so I thought ok cool. Well to My fckn surprise I go and they only want to refund me the rear parts brand because pro forged does not come up in their system no more a d the part numbers don't match, I'm like WTF? You fuckers sold me this parts! I have the fuckn recipe and you don't want to give me my money back for your guys fuck up? So I ended up stuck with the wrong parts this fuck faces gave me for my truck. 150$ down the drain. read more

This is Easter Sunday, they were open and checked my alternator while it was still in the truck, recommended the parts I needed to fix the problem. We had a horrible experience at this location. We went in on a Sunday evening and it was pretty busy. You could tell one worker couldn't handle all the stress of the busyness. It resulted in her not only treating her associate, Amanda, poorly, but also the customers. We went in the day before to check our battery since we purchased it there in 2013. The young girl told us that it just needed to be charged for an hour and that she would call us. 3 hours later and we never received a phone call. We went in and our battery was given back to us with a supposedly good charge. The next day we noticed our car having a bit of trouble and we knew it was the battery. We had a mechanic check the alternator and the battery and he said he was surprised they charged it with completely dry battery cells. After we knew the alternator was fine we decided to take it back to get a replacement. That's where we met Sandra who was completely rude and didn't believe that we came in the day before. She was rude to the associate, Amanda, who was helping us and treated her so poorly we felt bad for her. We left with a dead battery and no plans of returning because Sandra would rather have us break down on the side of the road than satisfy our warranty. We're happy to go any where else for business if it means better customer service than that. Yikes. read more
