A couple of weeks later I take the old one back, because what else would I do with it. I just wanted to drop it off. A different guy, every bit as friendly as the first, said "hold on, it's worth something to you" and handed me a fiver. Are you kidding? Got an email confirming my appointment. I arrived at the appointed time and was told that they didn't have a technician on Monday and couldn't do the battery replacement. In their defense (at least partially), they did try calling an hour before my appointment but their call was blocked by my call-blocking software. Warning - don't rely on their email confirmations. TUESDAY - I made an appointment and returned the next day. The technician (assistant manager) was prepared and had the replacement battery at the counter - ready to install.
