I shop at this store routinely to keep my fleet rolling safely. I'm generally satisfied, but simply prefer the store across the street for some subjective reason. Today we ordered brake shoes, to arrive by 3PM. My go-to store couldn't have them until tomorrow. Got them! Sat down to install them--no new hardware included! I do realize that drum brakes are old school, but even in modern times who on earth sells brake shoes without the hardware kit!? Advance Auto Parts does. Nobody in their right mind would put forth the effort to replace brake shoes without replacing the springs. The springs pull the shoes away from the drum when not in use. Kind of a big deal. Their customer service is great, but their offerings are deficient. They don't have the hardware kit available today or tomorrow. Neither does the other stores in this area..unless you buy the shoes with the hardware included. So guess who replaces drum brakes without replacing the springs? It is late, so the answer is this guy...unfortunately. I guess I'm not in my right mind :). Three stars for me because they contributed to putting me in the position. Check the contents closely or you may wind up on jack stands for a few days (or you might be forced to roll the dice, like me).

They then replaced them for me, in spite of the fact that it was drizzling rain. One of the terminals was terribly corroded and had fused to the cable. It was in a very difficult location to work on. They used a spray lubricant, and worked on it quite a while, got the cable off, and completely cleaned the cable connector so that it would attach to the new battery. I am so thankful I went there; I would have had great difficulty trying to do what they did myself, and the young man cheerful the entire time. Five stars for sure!

I took my truck to Ryme time tire and they told me that the lugnuts discount tire should not have been put on. They tried to take them off and one lug nut was already broken. I took it back to discount tire and they tries to fix my broken lug nuts but couldn't. They put in a claim to have my trucked fix. The claims people never called. I had to take my broken truck to Toyota to fix. Toyota told me discount tire put the lug nuts on and broke all six of them including all six lugs. They had a hard time getting them off. Toyota fixed my broken wheel at a cost of 525.00. And discount tire just says they nothing to do with it. DISCOUNT TIRE will brake your vehicle and not fix it. I also heard another customer had there wheels work on and when they drove off the parking lot the whole wheel came off. Discount was supposed to just check my air in my tire and ended up breaking my truck. And now tells me its out of their hands. Save yourself a lot of money and dont go there for anything.
